I get it now, Michigan is playing the lava game we did when we were kids. Everything within the 3-point line is lava. Maybe beilein could allay thier fears.

Thats the cool thing about science, it can correct itself.
Pluto is really an American thing. A kid from Illinois found it. Disney named a dog after it.
I was kinda bummed when he (correctly) didnt include it in the planet listing but happy when he called it out by name.

He was also the voice of Giordano Bruno.

I suppose this comes down to trust and whether the sources are trusted. We blindly accept things every moment of our lives. E.g., I blindly accept that nobody is going to speed through a red light and kill me. E.g. I blindly accept that the steel I use in design has a minimum yield stress and meets certain criteria. Sometimes we get burned because a trusted source whether it be a green light or a specification doesnt hold true.
Now the sources, the sources can gain or lose trust. If you get hit alot in intersections you are going to to verify those sources by looking both ways. Bad steel, you are going to request testing before using it.
(I was going to put in a paragraph about scientific method vs the Bible but ommitted to stay on topic)
Now we cant always do this. The world would not function. Imagine stopping for each green light you see. Engineers on this board might imagine performing extensive testing on steel prior to its use.
I think there is a difference. I would much rather go around blindly accepting things than blindly rejecting them because if I didnt, I wouldnt drive anywhere and no buildings would be built.

As a Michigan engineer, I love data. I cannot really quantify anything until there is a number assigned to it. I really love and need UFR's to put a bit of closure on this last week. Long live UFR.

I believe the flag is actually a limitation on number of people in the backfield. So you can only have 4 in the backfield. Normally the adjunct is true in that 6 people on the line means 5 in the backfield, but not if you only have 10 dudes out there.
As an aside, I remember this play specifically as I was reduced to listening to the game on the radio for the most part. The guys calling the game were going nuts about this and I am surprised to hear that whoever did the game for ESPN didnt mention it.

Thanks for adding in that bit with return yards. I makes this Boilermaker happy to see a small glimmer of not crap from this giant crap pile of a team we have. Thank god I went to grad school.

Now thats a bit harsh. While campuses such as University of Minnesota have done some terrible things with cast concrete and EIFS over the years, University of Michigan has doled out some dough to keep it real (e.g. the facade-ectomy for North Quad on Huron and State as well as the exterior of the press-box at Michigan Stadium).
|27 weeks 12 hours ago||I am a boilermaker||
I graduated in 2006 from Purdue, Masters from Michigan hence my presence on this site. This Purdue team is the worst in the Big Ten, and the worst Purdue team in at least 20 years, probably 30 years.
Next worst is probably either iowa or IU.
Minnesota, Illinois, MSU in the next group.
NW, Wisco, Neb, PSU. They c
Ohio and Michigan on top.

I invited a client of mine to a regular saturday morning basketball game in which I participate. He hurt himself on the second play of the first game. He hasnt hired me for another job since that happened. Granted it was last weekend but still, that was the only way that I could finish the story. Go Blue!
