my friend and I used to call him, "big tub of shitlock." He's a Hoke blowhard, so keep that in mind. Team is a little soft but it comes down to the seniors. This bunch is small and without a true vocal leader it appears. The team does not have an identity.

Yesterday, my friend, an Ohio alum, said it was a shame that Hoke (not Urbs) had to be the one to do the classy thing for the beating "Michigan" cancer child. This staff and the whole athletic department seem to project a very classy, caring, family persona. I work at Cincinnati Children's hospital and stuff like this is just awesome. It made my day to talk to a patient about wrestling on Monday. He was upset that we do not get the USA network and he could not watch RAW.

I find it morally humorous/ironic that the new racino is being built across the street and the Hustler store is down the road (a strip club used to be next door to it also).

|30 weeks 12 hours ago||Denard was an electric runner, a great leader, a Michigan Man.||
His passing/decision making caused me to drink heavily and punch/throw times at times. He had some great moments. "Boom, Denarded" in the UTL and "that's six" against UConn in his coming out party game stick out.

Demetrius Brown. I believe he was the qb on the day I became a Michigan fan thanks to my older brother. That was Earle Bruce's last game; the 23-20 loss. I have been a huge fan ever since despite living in sw Ohio.

We are bringing her regardless. We live 30 miles northeast of Cincy so we are coming up Friday. She is excited for: swimming at the hotel, seeing the band, and football; in that order.

I vote for children from Mott's. I work at Cincinnat Children's so everyday I see the terrible hands some children are dealt. Make two children's lives or a child's and his/her parent's. Vets are a good idea too but I bet they would rather see children go.

I looked at the wrong game, sorry. MF vs TM was a semifinal game the week before.

He had 4.5 tackles and two pass break ups so he difinitely played. http://www.ohsaa.org/sports/ft/boys/2011/d2stfinal11.htm#Individual_Stat...

I am never glad when Ohio wins in anything. The lesser of two evils won. I believe Kentucky will beat Ohio in the final. Sullinger wont do much against Davis and Craft will not be able to mug Kentucky's bigger guards.

Kickoff was a muff, it is not a fumble. You can not advance a kick/muff. The ball is dead when the kicking team gains possession. Plus a kickoff only needs to go ten yards then kicking team can recover regardless of who touchs it first. Same with punts, if recieving team gains possession then fumbles, it is just like any other live ball play. Fumbles can be returned. Same for punts. If the reciever muffs it, the ball is dead at the recovery spot by the kicking team. This scenario happened against Wisconsin in the early 2000's. They muffed a punt, we recovered and "returned" it for a td. Instead, we got the ball at the recovery spot and kicked a fg for the win.

and have sported Michigan gear since becoming a fan in 1987 when I was eight years old ( Earle Bruce's last game loss). My family, co-workers, and friends all give me crap. I have an "ALL IN" towel hanging above my desk/workbench and get comments weekly about it. Both of my monitors have Michigan screensavers on them, when my computer has problems the predictable qoute: "if that Michigan shit wasn't on there..." occurs. My favorite, so original, worthless nut fan comment is "Fuck Michigan." I usually have really good insightful comebacks and people leave me alone or reason with me. Being 6'4" and 300lbs helps too. I bleed blue but am still a realist which saves grace also.
At any sporting event you go to in Ohio they will play that damn song and spell that four letter word. I told the deejay at my wedding not to play any TOSU songs no matter what. My uncle got the mic and chanted it anyway. My wife and I walked in to Ufer saying "band take the field" and then "The Victors" which was awesome. Sorry to be longwinded, it is just hard to find people around me that appreciate being a Michigan fan. This is just me, a fan and a snippet of what I deal with. I can not imagine what a high schooler would go through especially a Michigan commit. I love how people think you have to root for the local team just because you live there.

but winning makes recruiting a lot easier. It is always good to have the trust of high school coaches everywhere though. Hallelujah holla back!

I think that is the main difference between the SEC and the rest of the country: speed, quicknees, and size on both lines.
And oversigning of course.

I saw this guy as a freshman starting varsity, you could tell he would be special someday. I told my buddy he will play on Saturdays and Sundays. As a spohmore he gave my school's reciever (who plays for Ohio Bobcats) a concussion. Dude brings "da wood."
|2 years 47 weeks ago||Children are very resilient||
I work in a children's hospital so I see terrible things everyday. I just remeber that they are getting the best care possible and usually the outcomes are good. Our slogan is "change the outcome." What keeps me going is knowing that I am helping them albeit indirectly. I pray for lots of people but always for all the children in my hospital and wherever. I have been praying for your niece since I saw the post Friday. God bless and GO BLUE!

by it. I am surprised no one has since Scam Newton won it you know. They probably are not smart enough being from the SEC. I would also become "a person of Walmart" if UM won the MNC and had the trophy at one.
|2 years 48 weeks ago||Ginnville||
that is what I call it. Every year they have more raw talent than any school in the state. Every year they dominate the Cleveland public school league and then lose to a Catholic school in the playoffs. Last year in their best showing they lost the state finals on a two point conversion by a Columbus public school. Trotwood is the mini Ginnville. They usually lose to a way less talented team in the playoffs because of "special teams," lack of discipline, and poor coaching. Twood was a litle different this year because they blew a 20 point lead in the state finals and lost to a slot ninja qb who they could not stop in the second half. FYI-Ginnville is D1 (biggest) and Twood is D2 and may go to D3 soon.

he hopes to be playing for bigger stakes next year. Coachspeak of course but that tells me he is not coming. As much as I hate to say it, I can not see us playing in a better bowl than the Cotton next year. He sure dodged the question though.

whoever the coach is. I have always thought a former NFL coach would be good here to restore the glory. I wanted Gruden or Cowher in 07. I used to work with a guy who went to UD with Gruden. He said even back then you could tell that Jon would be a coach someday because he carried a book he made up plays in and was "pound for pound" the strongest guy on the team. He also said that Jon told him to transfer if he wanted to play since my co-worker was not Catholic and would not see the field at UD. I never forgot that conversation from over ten years ago. Go Blue, hire Gruden. Make Michigan Child's Play!
