the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Agreed! |
| 2 hours 54 min ago | Wow! |
Called third strike looked just like ball 3! |
| 3 days 1 hour ago | The definition |
of redundancy.
|
| 3 days 1 hour ago | Informative, and |
more than just a bit snarky. Also very surprised you didn't have some foul language involved. |
| 2 weeks 18 hours ago | I agree with you |
Magnus. There's always some dingaling who has to be snarky and negative. Thanks for being straight up. |
| 3 weeks 19 hours ago | I understand the schedule thing. |
But I'm just sayin', they may have had a great record, they just didn't beat anyone. I know that when we were 11-2 under Hoke, we didn't beat anyone either, with the possible exception of VT in the bowl game. That's part of the reason they sucked last year. We were actually better last year, and had a worse record. They were a bit worse last year and had a terrible record. |
| 3 weeks 1 day ago | Oh yeah |
no luck there!! |
| 3 weeks 1 day ago | I thnk he's an OK coach, |
but when you seriously analyze their wins over the last 5 years, they really didn't beat any good teams. Michigan only after the RR decimation, ohio only after tatgate, Wiscy only on a miracle bomb, and ND on the infamous fake fieldgoal. Seriously, they beat no one in those 5 years. No One!!! |
| 6 weeks 17 hours ago | That's exactly right, |
just like in baseball, it isn't a strike or a ball until the umpire calls it. It can be in the dirt, but if the ump calls it a strike, it's a strike. If the ref calls it a charge, it's a charge!! 'Nuf said! |
| 6 weeks 2 days ago | Roger freakin' THAT!! |
So there's THAT!! |
| 6 weeks 3 days ago | And he's such a solid kid too, |
not just the best player, but so humble and team focused. A great kid!! |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Not surprised |
thugs don't usually follow the same recruiting/signing schedule as the rest of the recruiting nation. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | I totally agree. |
It is painful to think about anyone leaving Michigan early to play for a contract for the rest of his playing career. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | Yeah, I know. |
I did watch the rest of the series, but it did infuriate me the way game 2 played out. Like I said, the way the last 8-10 seconds of that game in regulation was played, it was obviously an effort to let LA win a game at home and force the series to go at least 5 games. It was too easy for the Pistons to win game 2 for it to be anything else. But yeah, back then, your description of a 'tight grip' is very accurate. Cooled off a bit since then, but still don't respect the NBA. Appreciate your input. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | Don't really hate it, |
but never watch it, partly because I don't trust the league, and it's not fun basketball to watch. I wouldn't know or care if they never played another NBA game. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | You are exactly correct. I'm sorry |
for the error. It was game 2 that went into OT and the Pistons lost. Still, it was very fishy how it ended, and other than the remaining games of that series, I haven't watched an NBA game since. Thanks for the correction. And apologies to the first gentleman who caught my mistake above too. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | With all due respect, |
the Pistons won games 1,2 and 3, lost game 4 as describe above, and then won it in game 5. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | No question in my |
mind. The NBA has been rigged for many years. I think all the way back to when the Pistons played the Lakers in the 80's. For sure the last time the Pistons won the NBA championship. That series had no business going 5 games, but the NBA thought the Lakers should win at least one game. The end of game 4 was an absolute joke, and I think even the Pistons were in on extending the series to at least 5 games. If my wife was coaching the Pistons, they would have won game 4, instead, the Pistons allow the Lakers to inbound the ball to Shaq, don't immediately foul him, and allow him to pass the ball to Kobe who dillies and dallies for a few seconds (they don't foul him either) and then drains a wide open three from the top of the key to either win it or send it to OT. I was enraged at the time, and haven't watched an NBA game since. |
| 10 weeks 6 days ago | Wow |
Calling names. That is such a mature form of discussion. Terribly disappointed in you, Don! |
| 10 weeks 6 days ago | Never Muppets |
for Sparty. It's a nice win, but just like we will never rush the floor when we beat Penn State, we should never do Muppets when we beat Sparty. They're not worth it!!!!! Just sayin'. |
| 19 weeks 5 days ago | Lovie is probably |
a better coach than most will say. Really, they haven't had a ton of talent in Chicago, they've just played very good D, and their D has scored a lot of points for them. They haven't had a QB forever, and have done some stupid things with running backs (ie: trading Jones) and receivers (Hester). If it weren't for the Lions discovering unbelievable ways to commit the NFL's most ridiculous rules violations, they would have beaten the Bears at least 2 - 3 more times in the last 3 years. Even when the Bears went to the Super Bowl against Indy a number of years ago, they were very lucky to even make the playoffs. Their D scored so many points and they were very lucky to win 4 or 5 games early in that season that it was literally a miracle for them to get as far as they did. Then it really showed it ugly head in the Super Bowl as they had their butts handed to them by Indy. Lovie is a good man and a good coach. Chicago just has nothing else and always thinks their football team should be in the Super Bowl. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | totally got it |
the first time I read it. Can't believe Michigan people can't get this without making some kind of sarcastic comment to make them feel better about themselves. Ease up M family!! |
| 24 weeks 6 days ago | Believe me |
we are real worried here about Urban too. He leaves sleeze where ever he goes. Not so much worried about what he does to ohio, but the B1G doesn't need any more sleeze than you've already given us. |
| 25 weeks 3 days ago | Back in the mid 70's |
the bucknuts had a running back named Jeff Logan. I remember him saying something like "I'm just glad I don't have to play against my own defense because they hit so hard." We owned them that year, and I loved it when he carried the ball and got hit by the M defense. Typical big mouth bucknut who couldn't back it up. |
| 26 weeks 54 min ago | The Cheaters |
they just keep cheatin'. I wonder what they gave him to go to osu. They cheat at everything, it is systemic and hasn't stopped. They have nothing else in ohio, so it's win at all cost. |
| 26 weeks 5 days ago | Totally |
agree with that. Said it yesterday. It was simply a Bronx Cheer from a guy who thought nothing prior to that had been called his way. He's still a class act compared to many other BIG football coaches. (Pelini, Meyer, Dantonio) Not to mention Kelly. |
| 26 weeks 6 days ago | Yeah I didn't see that until today either, but Demens |
had himself a game yesterday. Roundtree as well. Additionally, I thought Devin showed some nice moments of leadership. He never quit, and played particularly well in OT. |
| 26 weeks 6 days ago | IUPUI game |
I'm thinking 84 - 52. Another big M blowout in prep for the bigger fish to fry. Go Blue!! |
| 26 weeks 6 days ago | Regarding the Pat Fitz celebration |
after the late hit penalty, am I the only one who thought it was simply a "Bronx Cheer?" He had previously been upset about a number of calls (including the holding call on the kick return and, as metioned above, several no-calls for PI) and no-calls, and to me, was clearly celebrating the officials calling something in his favor. That's the way I saw it immediately, and I still think that's all it was. Just sayin'.

| 30 weeks 19 hours ago | You have to win |
six games to go to a bowl game. They're not going to do that!!! |
