Over the years we've had several legendary guys who were absolutely outstanding in high school, but due to lack of size or speed didn't garner a ton of attention until it turned out they were too good to keep off the college field as well. Off the top of my head these would include Andy Cannavino, Mike Hart, and Jamie Morris. Here's hoping Grant Perry joins their ranks

1) Yes, if it helps keep Drake's hamstrings in operating order, I may be willing to take a trip down to the crossroads.
2) Brian, how long did you agonize over the use of "Blue October"?
God, we're getting close.

Harbaugh is a couple years older than me, but this is my earliest memory of what we looked like on the road, and I'm sure Harbaugh loved it as well. Really looks good and centers attention on the helmets IMO.

Is my ex's cousin and I've hung out with him any number of times. Very unassuming guy especially considering he has the most badass job there is.

He did EVERYTHING possible to get the BEST deals for MICHIGAN. If we all would have sat QUIETLY and minded our business he would have SUCCEEDED in breaking what didn't need BREAKING and reforming MICHIGAN into something that would have needed REBREAKING!

"Wives" and their kids get public assistance since they are not actually wives in the legal sense and therefore do not claim any legal stake in the "husbands" income other than a bit of child support. It's quite a little racket.

20 years were small....you should watch more football before posting such absurd opinions.

The same 3 pieces on M football for 20 years, any and all data are massaged to fit his narratives. He is self serving, lazy, and an exceedingly poor writer. Not worth the time to read, the newsprint, or the bits of electricity/data. That is all.

In response to a previous comment encouraging us to learn our own history. America has faced her sins almost from the very beginning. China is now home to both authoritarian social rule and completely unregulated capitalism. The worst of both worlds.

The epa contractors were trying to deal with an abandoned mine that is leaking heavy metals to a mountain stream. There are literally thousands of similar situations across the country and they are enormously complicated to deal with.

Do have a shifty history in terms of environmental stewardship and worker safety. We also still make mistakes, some bad ones. The difference, though, between us and China is we've publicly faced these mistakes and largely changed both laws and behavior. China has not.
Similarly, our two great sins were slavery and our treatment of Native Americans. These do not constitute licence for Saudi Arabia's legalized abuse of women, not does it make us hypocrites for criticizing said abuse.

You're comparing cycling to an organized sport. Kids ride their bikes as transportation and, therefore are on them all the time. They do idiotic things on their bikes like make ramps and ride dirt slopes in construction sites. If their not riding they're skateboarding or rollerblading and getting concussions that way. Plus, as a poster above has said, it's not necessarily concussions we're worried about, its the constant smaller impacts play after play after play which are very uncommon when a kid rides his/her bike.
The gist of your post seems to suggest that riding a bike is more dangerous than football. This may or may not be true, but the two activities are radically different in terms of participation and risk/participant.

I have no doubt soccer has it's issues, but football is especially cruel to the brain depending on how it's played.
