Maybe not quite the frame of the game, but the Higdon offset draw on 3rd and 17 is highly addictive to watch.

It's not quite literally pure gold. But it's funny.
|13 hours 50 min ago||IIRC, in '97 we lost the coin||
IIRC, in '97 we lost the coin toss every week, or almost every week. We clearly needed Leach's tips.
|15 hours 1 min ago||Classic||
I remember this one. They did this for a few different schools (I think FSU was one?) but of course this was the best.
|18 hours 21 min ago||What gets me is not so much||
What gets me is not so much the two in a row there (which is a one-time thing, OK), but the fact that it's screwed up the MSU/OSU home rotation permanently.
|19 hours 9 min ago||Plus, a shoebox probably||
I agree that this is probably some new type of shoe, but this is just a fashion thing. You don't need different shoes when you go from FieldTurf to grass. Possibly a different length of cleat (depending on how long the grass is), but that's it.
|19 hours 33 min ago||the Nittany Lion offense||
It was actually a blocked punt. That was a brutal fourth quarter for the OSU special teams. Boccher-esque.
|19 hours 50 min ago||I don't understand this||
I don't understand this phenomenon of filiming yourself being upset when your team loses and uploading it to YouTube. I've assumed it's all an act.
|20 hours 39 min ago||I'm not an expert at||
I'm not an expert at deciphering cryptic Twitter posts by equipment guys, but the presence of a football helmet/football and the football field-like floor design would seem to suggest that it's related to the gridiron.

What are the two groups in the 50/50? White/nonwhite?
|20 hours 47 min ago||It manifests itself||
It manifests itself differently than in a place like Russia. French people, in general, won't boo black French players or insult them to their face. They'll go online and complain that the team isn't "representative" enough, or that it's too "street," or that it doesn't sing the national anthem loudly enough, etc.
By the same token, fans of rival countries regularly spam French soccer forums with comments about "Frafrica" and how they aren't playing the "real" French team but the "colonial" one, which doesn't help matters.
|1 day 3 min ago||I would guess that he's tried||
I would guess that he's tried to keep it a secret from his players, but this would affect his job performance all the same. If he's been in negotiations with Texas, that's got to be distracting to him when he's supposed to be preparing for Navy, SMU, etc. And players can sense when their coach is "off".
|1 day 2 hours ago||They've been a solid program||
They've been a solid program for awhile now though - Briles, Sumlin and Herman have all been successful there. It seems to be one of the better Group of 5 jobs out there.
|1 day 2 hours ago||In France, it's complicated.||
In France, it's complicated. The overtly racist stuff that goes on in some countries (monkey chants, throwing fruit at black players) is rare. But there is a segment of society that is clearly uncomfortable having a team with a large number of players of color. There is also a segment of society that is proud to feature a diverse team. It turns almost every appearance by the national team into a political debate.
|1 day 2 hours ago||I wonder if that would||
I wonder if that would explain Houston's shaky performances lately. Has he been "Durkining" it lately?
They really should go ahead and make an announcement about Charlie Strong's future first, though.

Have you actually visited many other countries?
Racial tension exists to varying degrees just about everywhere. I would say, if anything, that the United States is more open about its racial problems than other countries that continue to sweep it under the rug. Consider much of Latin America, where people will insist that there are no racial barriers, but strangely enough, those of lighter skin tone are consistently over-represented in the upper strata of society, and those of darker skin over-represented at the bottom.
|1 day 5 hours ago||The "racism exists everywhere||
I don't know. I see it more as a caution not to get too complacent here in the North than as a justification for Southern racism.
|1 day 5 hours ago||I mentioned the McDyess and||
I think that's pretty typical of how towns honor residents who become famous. There's usually a sign at the entrance and that's about it.
It's pathetic that it was vandalized though.

Disappointing comments. There is a case to be made for improved treatment of athletes but here he comes off as entitled.
I am wondering what exactly he means by this?
|1 day 19 hours ago||That 13% 3rd-down conversion||
That 13% 3rd-down conversion rate against our defense is absolutely mind-blowing. Also the fact that our average game is a 49-10 victory!

He went for the FG twice: once when it was 14-6, and again when it was 17-6.
|1 day 20 hours ago||Yeah, but I suspect he||
Yeah, but I suspect he misheard and/or anticipated that the question would be about the FG at 17-6.
|1 day 23 hours ago||That's a weird answer from||
That's a weird answer from him (I wonder if he thought the reporter was asking about the other FG attempt, when it was 17-6) but this headline is over the top.
|2 days 4 min ago||Sounds like another guy who||
Sounds like another guy who reads the score lines as opposed to watching entire games. We could have put up more points on both Rutgers and Illinois if we really wanted to. Also, where the author sees the fake punt and 2-pointer as savage cruelty to the other team, it could just as easily be a case of Harbaugh testing these plays out in game situatiions.
Of course, there are a lot worse things to be accused of than winning games by too much,
BTW, what is NSIAP? Not Sorry If Already Posted? Feisty.

PSU needed overtime to beat Minnesota a couple weeks ago. They're not that good.

Isn't Harbaugh also paid to know his stuff?
Rule of thumb: the earlier a sleeper recruit commits, the more likely it is that he is a priority for the staff.

You have to keep in mind, nothing gets under a Spartan's skin more than Michigan fans downplaying the rivalry.

It was announced during the game (on the broadcast) that Evans appeared to have passed the preliminary concussion tests but was being held out as a precaution. I don't think that would have come straight from Harbaugh.
