29 weeks 10 hours ago	Download good, streaming bad	I've had the restart problem with Downcast, but ONLY if I try to stream the podcast rather than download it first.  Once it's downloaded in its entirety, it works fine.  I'm not sure how the official Apple podcasts app works, but perhaps it's a streaming issue?   (Also, I heartily recommend Downcast.  It is a great, great app.)

I thought the assumption was that he took the Tech job to build his resume before Red's inevitable retirement?  My memory is that Brian or somebody reported that Dave Brandon wanted to make sure that Red's replacement had head coaching experience, which prompted Mel to look elsewhere.

1 year 38 weeks ago	Baltimore location changed, apparently	Someone left a comment on the google map that the Baltimore viewing location has been changed from Ropewalk to a place called Crazy Lil's, so I updated the map to reflect this.
1 year 41 weeks ago	Up-to-date as of 9/2/2011	I hadn't been in this thread for a while, so the map was a bit out-of-date.  I think I've got everything updated now.  If anyone knows of any other places, or sees info on the map that's incorrect, let me know and I'll fix it.
1 year 47 weeks ago	Easy there, guys	I don't read this or Misopogon's previous post as accusing Hoke of abusing medical scholarships or doing anything shady. They're pointing out that we're in the uncomfortable situation where our coach has publicly committed to taking more recruits than we were aware we had scholarships for. Now that we find out where those scholarships are coming from, it's understandable that some would cock an eyebrow. Brian's bound to write something one way or the other, after his one-man campaign against the Saban/Nutt school of recruiting. I wouldn't be surprised if he writes essentially what all of us are thinking - if Hoke was going to Saban anyone, he'd go after the slot ninjas, not Pace and Talbott. Regardless, if he doesn't cover it in some form, we'll be seeing all the ESS-EEE-SEE bloggers call him a hypocrite. EDIT: just to be clear, this was meant as a reply to MCalibur, MGoShoe, Don, etc.

1 year 47 weeks ago	Is it too late to kill this "B1G" thing?	Just because the conference decides to give itself a silly new logo doesn't mean we have to buy in and use it ourselves. It only takes three more keystrokes to type out "Big 10", and it's definitely worth the effort.

Also, your first semester grades don't have much bearing on your final GPA. My first semester was pretty average, but it's come up every semester since then.

2 years 44 weeks ago	Up-to-date as of 8/15	I've got everything from the thread in the map as of today.  I've also reorganized a bit - there were so many bars, I had to clean things up to make it easier to use.  Good problem to have, I guess. Is it kickoff yet?  I can't wait to head to Duffy's or Mad River for the UConn game.

She would stick up for Pam Ward, and call me sexist when I complained about her announcing.  Now that she knows a bit more, she complains even worse than I do - if there's going to be a token female announcer, Mrs. Lo wants it to be someone who's going to represent the gender well.
