This sentence struck me as surprising, although maybe it shouldn't...
"Michigan has lined up both VT and Washington in 2020 and 2021 and then starts series with UCLA, Texas, and Oklahoma. Canceling Arkansas is one thing; cancelling any of the latter three series is a much worse idea."
Is the majority opinion that VT and Wash are bigger draws then Arkansas? UCLA, Texas and Oklahoma seem like no-brainers but i would have put Arkansas over the other two. Perhaps that's just an irrational desire to beat the SEC.

I always thought this would be a good solution for NCAA "realignment". Let the current Big 5 be the top level league and then line up the remaining conferences below each league as the 2nd division. A N. Illinois for Purdue swap could be interesting, even if its only temporary.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||And just like that...||
every bit of good will Warde has accumulated has gone right out the window... count me among those who hate this.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Wondering||
how many Oline players we take in 2017 given the 3 already committed and some of the high level guys still being targeted.
|23 weeks 4 days ago||My question is||
How long before the SEC asks the NCAA to ban this as well.
|23 weeks 4 days ago||SEC hates themselves some Michigan||
feels like this was a back channel complain by the SEC to ESPN since they are joined at the hip these days....
|23 weeks 5 days ago||Trajectory||
there has to be some middle group for people who A) do not want JB fired and B) question the health of the program. I am one of them and my biggest gripe is that after all that success with the NC game and final 4 apperance, etc the recruiting never seemed to take off. That always struck me as a bit ususual.
Maybe it does just come down to paying kids vs. not paying them... sucks that this is where NCAABB is.

who have no interest in seeing the ND series renewed on an annual basis... for a multitude of reasons
|24 weeks 5 days ago||ya and Fuller didn't make sense||
because of the timing... could just be a typo but the tweets came out close to the same time
|24 weeks 5 days ago||Scouts tweet||
I also thought the tweet below was a bit odd since, to the best of my limited knowledge, Michigan isn't recruting any of the top 5 CB's in the East who are announcing on NSD. Fuller is one, but he announces tonight.
|26 weeks 1 day ago||Exactly why||
The Swenson stuff doesn't bother me... you may not like recruting but at least its an open relationship on both ends. The player can walk away and the college can walk away at any point prior to signing on the dotted line and if that's what's in their best intersts, then so be it.
|27 weeks 5 days ago||Was that the mystery visitor?||
i thought that was all a lot of hype and no substamce... is there still solid evidence that some top committed player from the UA game with a connection to Gary is a surprise visitor in January?
|27 weeks 5 days ago||Jordan Elliots quote||
seems pretty interesting when it comes to DB's... even if you assume Hill and Long are 2 of the 3, who is the third? Hudson? Hill also seems to be trending towards one of these guys who seems like he'll commit for forever and then never does.
|28 weeks 4 days ago||Sent from the future...||
How is the date listed as January 6th
|28 weeks 4 days ago||Any chance||
that Long's decision impacts Hill... either in terms of space for a CB or just overall commits we can take? Also curious if most recruitniks think Hill is more important than someone like Fuller or even Hudson despite the star difference
|31 weeks 3 days ago||Is it 22 or 23||
why does Scout's say 23...
|33 weeks 2 days ago||will everyone still be this happy||
if Gary ends up elsewhere...?
|33 weeks 2 days ago||Surprised at this reaction||
everyone seems overjoyed that we didnt lose a guy based on a recruit from his former school who still has not yet committed. Not saying it won't happen, but if it doesn't... i bet a lot of these opinion change sharply. Esp if that guy is given a coaching gig
|1 year 1 week ago||About the students...||
so you think the students are going to vote in favor of "graduating players and the right way" over winning? Good luck with that... I know when I was in college the moral high ground was of the ultimate importance.
|1 year 1 week ago||Doesn't make them relevant||
I don't think any of those Ivy league schools are signing $150 million dollar deals with Nike anytime soon. And if you think that doesn't matter.. you're just being naive.
|1 year 1 week ago||The answer is winning...||
so your a squeaky clean program and everyone graduates... but you're almost irrelevant in the college football landscape. Welcome to the Ivy League.
|1 year 2 weeks ago||is it asking too much||
to at least have a uniform color of blue across gloves...this cannot be that difficult
|1 year 3 weeks ago||The shade thrown on the Sixers||
is mostly by people who have no real idea how the NBA works, are trying to drum up clicks or are jealous that the 76ers management is giving them the freedom to go through this process. Like the plan or not, they at least have one, and have stuck to it.
|1 year 4 weeks ago||Who's we..?||
I think oversigning is a joke that could easily be removed so i find it annoying... as for the rest, I'm very "meh" about all of that because if it got me a National title, i'd be happy.
|1 year 4 weeks ago||If I'm being honest||
I don't really care about this... we dance around the issue all the time but this has become a businesss of winning and doing what it takes to win. I know its not popular but if I am being honest I just want to win and win big and if it takes some corner cutting to do so, I won't complain.
Before everyone breaks out the pitch-forks.. obviously there is a line that can be crossed. I just don't think this is that line.
|1 year 4 weeks ago||2016 or 2017||
doesnt seem to specify
|1 year 5 weeks ago||Grain of salt||
but the Teddy guy who doesn't get a lot of love on here mentioned DL... he's been spot on for the last 3 committs and one of the first so just leaving it out there.
|1 year 5 weeks ago||Was thinking the same...||
There was a lot of shade thrown in that short lived buckle up post...he was also the guy who first mentioned the D Jackson commit.
|1 year 6 weeks ago||Jason Peters also||
switched from TE to OT and that worked out pretty ok....
|1 year 6 weeks ago||To be clear||
i could not possibly care less which company wins the bid but I think I am in the minority with that stance. I also think it matters a lot more to current players / recruits than to the average fan.
