My wife hasn't taken any digs at the app, but otherwise my frustration has been exactly as described here. And consequently I've spent less time reading about my beloved Wolverines.
So we join the ranks of teams that were handily defeated by Alabama in the last year (and some of those teams were good/great teams). And we learn that Alabama can regenerate studs on defense like a reptile pops out a new limb.
The only reason it might feel like we are in trouble is that we are only 1 year out from the RR era, and big losses just bring back those bad feelings inside.
NO. It is not 2010. We did not just lose to MSU or Iowa or Penn State or Wisconsin or Ohio State and you can rest assured that Alabama is superior to Mississippi State.
Making the right choice may lose us a game, but we continue to stand for something more than simply winning in athletics.
Michigan football overtly makes a statement that we as a program do not tolerate criminal behavior even from our keystone players. Consequently we will attract players that understand this and will be less likely to conduct themselves in ways that damage Michigan.
Initially upon reading this I felt somewhat resistent, too.
But... let's just consider for a moment that the powers that be for Blue might not be drawing these ideas out of a hat or elsewhere... This could represent yet another way that we are the Leaders.
Assuming Gardner develops in the offseason... what about seeing an expanded role for Denard as a WR?
With the right blocks connecting, he only has 1 man to beat...
In no way am I suggesting that Denard should not lead the helm in 2012. Just thinking outside the box re: a solution to the loss of a capable WR in Stonum.

You cannot tell me that close wins to Purdue and MSU, as they lose to directional school east, aren't favorable indicators for Michigan tonight.

Hates Missouri, but just flashed a eating motion. Truly paradoxical. Nice play to keep Sparty alive.
Going to settle for watching Cal and Ohio for now.
I like neither, but c'mon, Cal is obviously less evil. However, the fan base annoys me with their delusions of grandeur.
Missing Michigan's game to go drink fine beer on a battleship that's floating on the SF Bay.
Has UMass become a standard candle for bigger teams? Whoever beats them worst is looked upon more highly?
What is the rationale for booking these guys other than they represent a nice, tasty cupcake?

If the experiment ends up working for hockey, perhaps apply it to football.
It might be a good way to deal with the issue of an empty student section at kickoff.
And half. Go Blue.
Some real reactionaries.
