They should rub all that…

They should rub all that money in Ace's face!

Ryan Day sprained his tongue…

Ryan Day sprained his tongue trying to slide that weak subtweet in there. Should've just said Harbaugh's name if he was going to use that many words.

I love the tournament when my team isn't in it since I'd rather be a Michigan fan today than a Wisconsin fan. Buh bye, wieners!

Dude padded up, walked onto the field for his first practice, closed his eyes, smelled the corn in the air, smiled, looked over at Iowa's QB1 putting mousse in his hair, got in his car, and drove back to Alabamar.

It's fun to dunk on OSU, but…

It's fun to dunk on OSU, but I think you guys are overselling the cultural issues talking about the wheels coming off. They're in the middle of a three-game losing streak to us. If the culture there were an issue, everyone would be pointing fingers on their way out of town, not postponing the NFL to come back for one last crack at us. They'd also be losing to Penn State as well. The culture there is probably way more family friendly than we like to give them credit for - as opposed to a ruthless football factory - considering all the whining from OSU fans about how soft Day is and how he doesn't embrace the rivalry enough because he doesn't run a Vick-style dog fighting ring but with punters and backup safeties instead of pit bulls.

I definitely think they're panicked and are overcorrecting - see: running off the QB who was way closer to beating the best Michigan team of our lifetimes on the road than CJ Stroud ever got to beating versions a step below that; but treating their version of Mike Hart leaving for higher ambitions as proof they're in shambles is just wishful thinking. All this talk about how their run is over and they keep finishing as a top three team in the nation.

I'm not reading the entire…

I'm not reading the entire thread to see if anyone's already made this point, but Moore can afford to be more deliberate with his coaching hires considering the players we're all worried about leaving don't have to enter the portal RIGHT NOW. The Harbaugh portal is open another two weeks, so they can bounce February 14th just as easily as they could have January 28th. Just something to consider when screaming that everyone's going to transfer if Sherrone doesn't lock his staff up by 9 pm last week.

"...except for McCord."

That one's going to hurt most. Get ready!

Edit: Oh, the homie above me said the same thing.

Lolwhut? I'm making a yeat joke here. But thanks for the short memoir.

At some point you wonder how…

At some point you wonder how much more money a man really needs, but then you realize Harbaugh has nine kids so he needs $16 million a yeat.

I like using the Michigan…

I like using the Michigan helmet wings for the E in that logo. The D is obviously sourced from the route he took on that first touchdown run against Washington.

The guard didn't overrun Moore. He was on a collision course with him on the edge until Moore headed in toward the scrum after seeing the run head up the gut.

"Talking about the last play…

"Talking about the last play: Did Sainristil get too high? Maybe. But Moore had it dead to rights even if they run it right."

The pulling guard was going to pave Moore. Would've come down to Mike making the one-on-one play.

The play is fuggen dead as…

The play is fuggen dead as soon as the ref biffs it. Lions now have to scramble over to the wiener to correct his mistake before he makes a second announcement, all while the play clock is still running. The play's objective is now entirely compromised and the Lions have zero time to adjust because the dipshit ref can't distinguish between 68 and 70, nor between left tackle and right guard.

I'll admit I hoped ahead of…

I'll admit I hoped ahead of time that OSU would win as far as the transitive property of wins and losses goes. You can usually see where things are headed in the playoffs when one team's conference is kicking ass and the other's is getting worked. But then I turned the game on in the second half and loved every second of that ass kicking. Block M shining through!

If this is what life is is like with five top-5 picks, imagine how good they'll be with eight.

Love all the wieners posting…

Love all the wieners posting things like "nothing good happens after midnight." Oh okay, you were in bed by 10 pm every single night when you were in college then? As a dude who got through school delivering for Pizza House: a lot of good kids are still awake at 3:30 am.

Best: that Michigan would…

Best: that Michigan would get caught cheating. After going 2-4 in a rando season where Indiana was a TD from the Big Ten title, Northwestern won the BIG West, Cincinnati made the playoffs, 4-3 Oregon was the Pac 12 champ, and Iowa State was the class of the Big 12, there was no way a coach who'd had three 10-win seasons out of six and would've had at least three conference titles had he not been cock blocked by a single team could suddenly turn it around by completely overhauling his entire coaching staff, addressing the locker room culture, cleaning up things around the margins (procedural penalties, regularly getting the play call in with more than 7 seconds left on the play clock, etc.), and running out a QB he'd developed from the jump rather than a transfer wildcard who didn't know his receivers' names. Nope, the more likely explanation is that all the success predicated on finally beating a vexatious, final hurdle of a team was that they went to elaborate measures to decipher opponents' signals rather than just asking a Rutgers staffer to send them over on WhatsApp.

Worst: That Ryan Day was only a small piece of biopsied testicle skin. Turns out he was the entire tumor.

Hammer the Bama moneyline if the analysis is anything like the writing.

That seems to be a "you and Juwan" problem!

Henderson should take that…

Henderson should take that deal: he's not durable enough to last an entire rookie contract, so he's getting the same four years regardless of when he enters the draft. Most guys are trying to tack on years to the back end of their first contract, but he'd be wise to attach years before it. And plus, he's going to tweak his ankle in the second game, miss the next nine, come back to get worked by Michigan a fourth time, then skip the bowl game to prep for the draft. First round pay for 2.5 games isn't a bad deal and barely adds miles to the odometer.

I don't understand the sour…

I don't understand the sour outlook on Donovan's draft prospects. There are at least a few GMs who grew up on Madden salivating at using him in ways that maximize his skill set. His other option is returning to Michigan to work his way back up draft boards by...

...being utilized exactly the same way as he's always been. Have to face facts that Harbaugh just isn't going to deploy the Percy Harvin in him.

It's going to be a repeat of the Jordan Poole experience if he leaves for the draft: everyone here posting countless threads about what a mistake he made and then saying "oh" after he goes late first round.

Pretty sure Semaj himself took the video, haha.

My prediction:

Warde is…

Should:

Warde is on the playoff committee, so he's naturally going to push for the scenario most beneficial to Michigan. Get ready for #1 Michigan vs. #4 FSU in the Rose Bowl.

Will:

By the time he's done negotiating we'll be playing #4 Bama in Tuscaloosa.

I don't know about y'all,…

I don't know about y'all, but I read that last bullet point about unavailability of key players as the fifth tiebreaker. FSU in.

I'm bracing myself for them…

I'm bracing myself for them leaving Michigan out of the playoff field altogether. Not really, but still. Neg away at my fake paranoia.

Same as putting Michigan…

Same as putting Michigan behind OSU the last month: all for show. Bama definitely jumping OSU if they beat UGA and who cares where they're ranked if they lose.

Can tell how seriously…

Can tell how seriously Michigan takes the Big Ten West champs by how everyone who "doesn't want to be a distraction" waits until after the OSU game but not the actual BTCG to make their big announcements: Cade last year and Partridge this year.

Appreciate that last kick to cover the spread!

We should punt right back to…

We should punt right back to them on first down after they punt to us. At least once, preferably the first drive of the game.

Is Ryan Day's Big Ten record…

Is Ryan Day's Big Ten record against non-Michigan teams all that impressive considering the talent advantage? I mean credit for the recruiting, but even there, is that him or the Ohio State brand? We're in the midst of a stretch where nobody beats Michigan, only Michigan beats Ohio State, only Michigan and OSU beat Penn State, only the Iowa offense beats the Iowa defense, and the rest of the conference dogshits their way to either 5-4 or 4-5. I'm pretty sure OSU can replace Day with Lou Holtz next year and they'll still work every BIG team whose stadium seats less than 107,000.

Is Ryan Day's Big Ten record…

I don't think you're reading that right. I'm responding to the OP saying this:

"DE def needs a year of being “the guy” cuz a few great games in 2022 ain’t getting him drafted after the season he’s had in 2023."

Donovan would be gone before the third round if he declares this year.

I'm commenting before…

Lol, Edwards wouldn't get drafted. The only way that's accurate is if you say he wouldn't get drafted in the 2.5 through 7th rounds because he'd already be gone by then.

lol, all the conspiracies…

lol, all the conspiracies about Michigan and gambling relies on Michigan beating the spread. I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. Can't control if they win or lose but they can control how much they win by? Alright.
