meh, kinda cool that the last game of the series has Denard on the cover though.

simple solution is letting the players market themselves/sell their image/stop caring about how much they get paid for part-time jobs ect. No money would come from the university directly.

There's obviously going to be some parallax, but using JT's hand for scale and distance I think a math person might be able to calculate approximately how far away from the line that ball was given the angle.
I've read that first down is the middle of the line btw, not the edge of it.

I mean... this argument would hold more weight if it hadn't happened before. (see Kings vs Lakers western conference finals)
Refs don't even have to be aware of what's going on to have an effect. Just pick refs you know/suspect to have a bias in favor of teams you want to help/against teams you want to hurt.

if you start at the 25 the 15 yard line is the line to make, bringing out the chains would be less precise than using the line that's already on the field.

This conference is set up to have Ohio State win the whole thing as often as possible, going as far down as the officiating.
Yesterday's game reminds me of the 2014 OSU vs Penn State game. That game ended in a 2OT victory for OSU too and featured inexplicably horrible calls going the way of OSU. Penn State complained and it was so bad even the head ref had a press conference but ultimately nothing happened and the officiating is as bad now as it was then.
As I've said before I'm done with college football until either the refereeing improves substantially or we leave the B1G(which, I'm not delusional, there's not even a .00000000001% chance of that).

These refs missed a lot.
Many of you are complaining about the defense but look at the replays specially at the line of scrimmage. MSU could've stayed in the game even vs Bama with these refs. What's up with B1G refs this season? They cost Wisconsin their game vs OSU and could've easily cost us this game.
They just don't call the obvious holds. We should get jerseys that rip easily to shame them into calling it.

MSU OL was holding every single play. Any team can beat any team in the B1G. Blind refs are the great equalizer.

For the decade I think Michigan, Miami and Tennessee lead the "doing less with more" ranking, Georgia would be high up there too though.
|17 weeks 1 day ago||If I were a wisky fan I'd||
If I were a wisky fan I'd also say my team should've won that game. OSU got away with holding virtually every single play on offense and they got called for it maybe once. That's one of my biggest fears playing OSU, it's tough to beat them at the line if the refs aren't calling the obvious holds.

What did you study? I have a BS from LSA and the majority of my classes were not graded on a curve... actually, only a small handful were and I'm 100% sure you can get a BA from LSA without taking a single one of them.

The easiest classes at Michigan are no harder than the easiest classes at OSU and Bama. Let's just be honest, if Mario Manningham managed to stay elegible during his time at Michigan pretty much anyone can stay elegible. Our standards are no different from those schools, we're not Northwestern.

Going by the data, people in Ohio seem to die less often than people in Michigan per mile driven, but they're both above average states. OP was complaining about Washington(Seattle area) and those drivers also seem to be better than Michigan's at not getting killed.
The worst drivers in America seem to live in Montana while the best seem to live in Wyoming. Minnesota and Massachusetts drivers also seem to be pretty good.

You are correct, most zika infections are asymptomatic. Symptoms, when present, are several pegs below Chikungunya, dengue, yellow fever, and west nile virus.
This virus should only be a cause for concern for pregnant women and their partners, couples planning to have children within the next 15 months, and couples who aren't planning to have children but are having unprotected sex w/o any form of consistent birth control.

Nah, his height isn't really due to hormonal "imbalances". Kid's family is just insanely tall, his dad and uncle are super tall too. Reminds me of the Plumlee family.

You can't quantify an alumnus' ties to the school in athletics fandom years because the two experiences are just not fungible. Arguing your bonds to the UNIVERSITY are stronger than the bonds of someone who actually attended the school is bordering on the insane. Perhaps to the athletic department, but certainly not to the University as a whole.
