Look man

We are going to get rolled.  Bad.  End of Story.

I saw it. They got jobbed.
That being said

I think we would have been a lot better in pass defense this year had we had peppers and morgan.

Fire Brandon

I'll probably start drinking my capsule of cyanide when we are down 28-0 in the third quarter, most likely right after we go 3 and out on the first drive or maybe on the second drive when we get to 38 of Rutgers, they push us to 4th and 1, and we punt.   One of those two.

Oh my bad wrong Thread.

BOYCOTT PSU

I'm in.  I'm a season ticketholder, and I'm not going to the PSU game.  I was going to write a post that suggested the same thing but I am not nearly the writer that counterpunt is, so I'll just add some drivel.  I miss the free programs.  Hell, I miss everything about how Michigan used to be.  After reading this, he's right.  I love this program almost more than life itself.  I'm not going to sit idle and let this clown fuck moron ruin what was a great thing anymore.  However, we need your help.  WHO'S WITH US???!!!

Our goal:  Under 100k for the PSU game.

One observation It is possible that Hoke would be a much better coach when and if he doesn't have to deal with this micromanaging ass clown athletic director. Cut my tongue from my mouth, lest I speak his name.
It's politics. I have been paying attention to the program for the past week, more than usual, and I think it's fairly apparent that Brandon made Hoke start Morris today. Draw your own conclusions.
A different angle It's plainly obvious that Dave Brandon made Hoke start Morris. Draw your own conclusions.

Noticing a trend?

You know what?  I don't remember the last time I was watching an opposing coach who had just played Michigan sitting there  in the press conference saying,

"we didn't expect to lose any games this year, but the cloak and dagger elusiveness of those formations and plays that Michigan laid on us left us IN UTTER AND  COMPLETE SUPRPRISED RUIN!  WOE IS ME WE WERE SO BAFFLED that we didn't even know what hit us!  We knew we were in trouble when Brady wouldn't tell his fans anything BUT WE NEVER KNEW JUST THE KIND OF ABSOLUTE BEAT DOWN WE WOULD SUFFER AT THE HANDS OF BRADY HOKE ON SATURDAY!    MAKE IT STOP!  TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!  EVERYTHING I HAVE LEARNED IS WRONG!!!  UNCLE!  UNCLE!

I must have missed that press conference.

I apologize Sorry for that thread guys. My dad, a michigan grad, lawyer, who went to the 69 game as a student, who I have gone to every home game with since 1986, who by all accounts of those in our section is a keen observer of the game, explained he thought it was a mistake to drop frank Clark into coverage. I thought he had a good point, seems unnecessary to me, but i am just a commercial attorney whose only client is billion dollar private company. I don't know football that well and to do this right, I should have gone through tape like Brian does and analyze how many positive as well as negative defensive plays came as a result of the practice. I'm sure if I did so I would find that lining up frank Clark as a defensive back responsible for covering a slot receiver has in fact paid big dividends this football season. I mean, where else should an elite pass rusher that weighs 280 pounds line up on Saturday? Clearly, however, I am in over my head here, as I should have at least 17000 more posts that nobody negbangs in order to establish the elite credibility that you all have.
Can you hear this? Somewhere up by the North Pole, there is an Eskimo trapped under the ice. You hear him? He's booing Hoke too.
Just want to say thanks Thanks Dave Brandon Thanks Obama.
Nicknames Jesse Johnson, the third string running back in 1992, had a nickname. What was it? I googled this and a cursory examination shows that the answer is not listed so I will be impressed if you can answer this. I know the answer because I have a photographic memory when it comes to michigan replay from the 80s and 90s.
Scrutiny In my opinion, the scrutiny that Hoke is under seems to take up more of his attention than focusing on winning. Sure he says that's what they are doing and he sAys he doesn't listen to criticism but all this hush hush nonsense about injuries, his general demeanor, and just a lot of the things he says are the mark of someone who is not focused on the game at all. I have worked for some very demanding bosses before and one thing the great ones all told me was never make the same mistake twice. Hoke makes the same mistakes over and over. I hope I'm wrong about this week but if I was betting I would pick utah to beat the spread in a heartbeat. Who hasn't Hoke been outcoached by? I mean I love Hoke and I defend him all the time to all my buddies but he's making it harder and harder to do every year.
Here's what that is. Pure genius.
Utah game a barometer? All games are important to me as a lifelong fan however this game is huge for peppers and Lewis. If they can lock mofos down that would give me a lot more confidence in the team. I said this before the nd game not having peppers in that game was a lot bigger than people realize.
Here's my opinion I don't think successful coaches sit around and worry about the kicking game because with any luck they have planned well enough not to have the momentum of a game rest on the kicker.
Does anyone remember what this thread is about? I find it funny how any thread basically disintegrates into a hoke discussion after about 5 comments. As I don't remember what this thread is about, I'll give my opinion of the game and what we need to do to win. 1. On offense, control the clock with the ground game. 2. On defense, get at least one pick. No picks and we are going to lose.
It would be cool if It would be cool if hoke was still our coach in 2024.
Check this out Hi my name is James and I'll take the coach who tells the media shit and doesn't opt for a pyrrhic 50 yard field goal on fourth and short at the beginning of the game against ND while the score is still tied deep in their territory. But that's just me.
Press Conference Summary

We are going to lose to Utah.

Lol Dang man how do you get -17,000 points? That's impressive.
Here's what I think Yawn...
Sorry I'm sorry for saying this but the only thing we are hiding from sparty is the 3rd and 8 punt.
I had to miss the game today because of a cle arrrrggghhh Since I missed the game today, who played center?
Cool Nice job man... Start .. Run.. Mspaint. Go blue.
Here's why. Because every successful coach from other programs report their injuries.
Point taken. Agreed, however it just seems like when I see guys like Saban, harbaugh, and I hate to say this , even urban Meyer... Those guys always seem to answer whatever questions they are Asked. They are candid with the media. They have a good relationship with the media. So what are my conclusions? THEY KNOW what is going on with their program. The way Hoke is with the media, combined with what is becoming his record, would lead any reasonable person to believe he has no idea what he is doing. I'm not advocating they fire him at all. I would love the way he treats the media if we ever came out and DiD ONE F ING THING tHAT WAS UNPREDICTABLE. But what do we do? We come out against an opponent on fourth and short at the beginning of the game, on the road, and we go for a field goal, nearly a fifty yarder no less. Even if we make that field goal, it's a Pyrrhic victory. Long story short, you don't have to be secretive when you don't have an ace in the hole. The secretivity has become a bluff, and a bad embarrassing bluff. He's not hiding shit from anyone except himself.
Point taken Yep.
Here is what we do know. I'm so glad that hoke and company have kept the injuries and how we are planning for our opponents a big secret, because it has obviously paid huge dividends so far. When you've had the kind of success Hoke has had at Michigan, NOBODY deserves an explanation fergodsakes.
Dude Clap your hands if you made it to the end of this post.
Yes Exactly.
I've said this the whole time The legends jerseys were a bad idea. Let new players immortalize new numbers and randomly give them out like we did in the past after they graduate. These have brought us nothing but bad luck.
Hey what's that? Yawn.
A wise man once said A good point is never made in a paragraph longer than five sentences.
D line pressure It's true. Mattison defensive lines never get any organic pressure. He won't make any adjustments either. This game is over.
Dude I think that comparison is a little extreme. With smith and green reasonable minds have differed. Nobody would ever say Sheridan was a more accurate passer than any other qb who has ever walked on a football field.
Like them both Smith has a better first three steps which with our line is everything. I think Green could go smash mouth this year though and probably has the better chance at being that type of back. It's hard to say which one is better. Brian says it's clearly Green in the UFR notes.
Dude Lou Holtz is an annoying pudwacker?! You don't say.
Dude Rip Van Winkle should be excited to hear this. Otherwise? Yawn....
Anyone know a good place to watch game in ft lauderdale? Anyone know a good place to watch game in ft lauderdale? I guess I can walk down to the places by a1a and las olas... You know, the place where everybody is inebriated 24 7 365.
Anyone know a good place to watch the game in ft lauderdale? See subject
My haiku for nd We hold on all plays The referees never see We drink cheap green beer.
Here is one thing about Ryan though I am certainly not as schooled in football as all of you guys however, despite the fact that Ryan perhaps made a few mistakes on those blitz plays, I would still rather have him in there at mlb against a team with a fast quarterback who runs a lot. He's our best linebacker when it comes to running those guys down.
Sorry if this has been said Does anyone know how many times since 1980 we've lost to nd and beaten osu? Since 95?
