thats what i do. no but seriously I get the guys who are in the pipeline. Im on my 3rd year and got a bunch of 5 stars last year. Was pretty sweet. I almost felt like RR until I realized that these players weren't real...then I was pissed. I also got pretty upset cuz i didnt feel like playing a couple games and just simulated them and I lost my first game ever....to OSU! and it autosaved so now i have that blemish forever
Hes currently the #1 ranked 189 in Michigan from Goodrich. Former teammate with Webber last year. Wonder if he would like to put on the maize and blue singlet.
Borelli has done an excellent job getting the top talent out of the state. Granted Bennett was from Rockford on the west side of the state, but he was a huge get. Marcel would have been a beast as well.
At least Michigans team is rather young, losing 3 starters next year but will get a couple big time recruits. Also pulling in a kid from my high school in Pete Rendina.
is only a true freshman so I haven't heard too much about him. Got to watch him last year at individual finals, looks good on his feet but again college wrestling is a totally different animal than high school. Riding time and being able to escape on bottom is key.
However, Nemic wrestled in their last dual against Minnesota I saw? Not sure if Johnston was hurt or what. What do you think the final score of the meet will be? Should be a good one
but next year Michigans got a sweet recruit coming in from Florida that is competing in Diaper Dan tourny (most prestigious high school wrestling tournament) by the name of giraljes (sp?). Stevens is from Monroe and is a very tough kid, only a freshman. Plus Webber and Zerrip join a very short list as 4 time Michigan State Champions. So 3 Freshman in the starting lineup plus Russell who is only a sophomore. Next year should be a big year.
Sounds a lot like MSU's recruiting classes the last 10 years before Dantonio. I guess the best explanation is Ferentz knows what types of players he wants on his team and he finds them. Iowa has that tough in ur face defense and pound the rock. Not the best recruits but Ferentz gets the tough kids, probably most from Iowa (that isn't really a football hot bed) that will smash you in the mouth
but...they were 10-22 last year. If you would have told me at the beginning of the year that they were playing meaninful games in late January I would have fell over. Starting Lineup is all underclassmen. Got a good recruiting class coming in next year as well. Like Brian would say, no where to go but up
was really that big of a loss. Yes he would probably be starting next year, but we have done an excellent job on the DL this year, along with Mike Martin last year who is really to step in at DL.
My big concern is LB. Ozeh, Fitzgerald (depending on development), Mouton, and ???
Evens and Painter haven't shown much progress. Deamans appears to need some real PT other than Special Teams before he can accurately be judged.
Need a big LB class next year
I really have no idea what position the RS freshman play or how they developed. I would assume they will get some PT at some point
I would assume that Molk, Schilling, Moosman, Cuillo, and Dorrenstein are on top now based on experience
