Great, informative post. Took a lot of work I'm sure. Thank you.
I would love to know whether the repeated running into a wall was simply killing clock in a low risk manner, or whether they were working on something they thought *could* work if blocking etc. was executed correctly. Those "up the guts" seemed so far from having a chance at being successful, not just a subtle block away from a good gash.
Interesting graphic in that report. Pats (10,000:1 chance that low fumble rate is due to chance) is far beyond other teams...but so are the Falcons and Ravens and...where do you draw the line?
the reason this is a great destination on the web is that the owner and founder is so passionate about Michigan that he devotes 10x the time of a normal journalist to actually writing substance that's analytical, painstaking, honest.
For free. You don't even have to buy two Cokes.
Maybe it is more valuable for the program long term to put a brief pause on football analysis, and for Brian to lend his weight to the momentum of outrage against Brandon and Hoke stupidity.
Sorry you might have to wait a couple of days for the best Michigan analysis on the web.
Happily, the players (or atleast Jake) seem to understand the booing was about moronic Coach actions/non-actions/decisions, not about the players. The players are being ill served.
Hoke's diction would get a D in most 7th grade speech classes.
I'm pretty sure. Had a talk with a writer for another mag, and yes an MGoBlog alum, and that's what he said. Brian may not need to pay top dollar because the site -- and it's combination of great writing, loyal fans and massive base -- creates coveted slots for people moving up. Supply and demand.

Great list. So Schaffer is at Middle Tennessee State and will be back at the big house. Wonder how that will go for him.
Curious why you think we are two or three *decades* ahead of the Chinese or Russians. I've no expertise, just wondering.

Otherwise what was the point?

His track record is that talent likes working for him as a way of growing a rep. Win win.

I have mostly fond memories of our DL sized former QB

Good luck and grow up Taylor.
