Further extrapolation suggests running the ball on offense will be dreadful for UM. We already know the line is young and inexperienced, now we see that based on this list they will face all of the top six teams that aren't themselves, and neither of the worst two. Clearly the run defense is significantly better in the East division. I'm guessing Melvin Gordon ends up a Heisman finalist.

I sincerely hope it's someone (or more than one) on the offensive line, but I would also love to see Pipkins, Green, and a WR all have breakout seasons. Truth is many will need to in order for the team to get to 9+ wins.

One bad game? Even in the limited time leading up to it he did absolutely zero to give anyone any confidence. Prior to that game he had completed as many passes to the other team as he did to teammates. That game just followed the pattern. I personally hope to never see him on the field again, even if we are beating OSU by 80.

If Henson would have stayed, any chance David Terrell stays as well? It's hard to argue when he was picked 8th overall, but that 2001 team could have done so much more. They replaced a couple amazing players on the line and AT, but if they could have gone through all of that with Henson and Terrell? They certainly could have rolled off 11 wins, but I'm not sure they could have beaten Tennessee, as much as I hate them. That was a terribly lopsided game.

I was happy to see Branch mentioned. Outside of Henson, he was the first that came to mind when I saw the question. I remember being really frustrated when he declared he was living because he could have had a huge senior season and really helped the defense that next year.

Caris is someone who kght be able to play some point in the league, kind of the way Jamal Crawford does, but not Nik.

While Aaron's last three years, after 40, were a bit rough, he still hit 40 HR at age 39 in only 120 games. That's crazy impressive. It seems many guys are wearing down earlier now, but if Miggy can stay healthy enough to sustain it, there's certainly a case to be made for at least the top ten hitters ever.

He got advice from Phil Coke? Shouldn't that have out the Tigers down 2-0 before the game even started? Was that someone saying "hey Tigers, we need a pitcher who has no chance of having a positive impact on the game to come talk to this kid"?

I was looking more at the rookie class and how bad they were. 8.8 ppg was good for 5th best among rookies, and that came from McLemore who did it while shooting less than 38% from the field.
Your #1 overall pick? 4.2 ppg on .356 shooting and 30 games missed.

What a weird year. Load ipod and Burke were the only top 10 picks to get any votes, and when you add MCW it makes 3 of the top 14 players selected that got even a single vote. What a crappy draft.

Hopefully this means the end of Phil Coke. The bullpen would be fine if they release Coke and option Ortega to Toledo, putting in Hanrahan and recalling Miller.

With Glasgow being suspended for at least the first game, Miller being horrible last year, and Kugler never taking a snap, I would be thrilled to have him for leadership and competition/depth. If someone good enough to play, even though he didn't start, on that line and already familiar with the style Nuss uses, he's a valuable commodity. It doesn't hurt a long term scholarship situation and if he never plays it means it's because someone beat him out for the job. I would be ok with that.

I wouldn't mind if the hype took him to the NBA and away from us though. Let them lose Appling, Payne and Harris. I'm fine with that.

They may have asked a question, but man, Jalen has some things going on. He's like that girl at school that needs to be liked by everyone and blames them if they don't, like it's their problem. Jalen, bro, you had a mildly successful pro career and have boatloads of money. The fact that your childhood buddy isn't feeling you or your school isn't bending over backwards to parade you around, that's called people moving on. It happens. Most normal adults don't hang out with the same group of people they did 10-20 years ago. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean they are scared or less of a family person. They simply moved the crap on.
|20 weeks 3 days ago||Well, for starters Knight||
Well, for starters Knight leads his team in scoring and assists and could play off the ball better than Stuckey, who could be dealt. Middleton is fourth on his team in scoring and leads them in steals. Between the two of them they have 75 starts and average over 28 points, 8 boards, and 6 assists. Middleton is shooting 43% 3PT. You can discount those numbers a bit by adding that the Bucks are the worst team in the league by a substantial margin, but to ask what Middleton has done is simply ignorance.

I would rather have Burke, Knight and Middleton than Jennings and KCP.

12-15 range. The big wins should help for sure, but this time of year you don't seem to see a ton of leap-frogging in the rankings over teams who have continued to win, regardless of the competition they face. So moving that much would be pretty impressive.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||So this drives Rosen to UM||
So this drives Rosen to UM and he helps get Campbell and Harris to recommit and join together to add Fitzpatrick, Jenkins, Kirk, Settle, Lucier-South and Cornell. I could like that class. Of course all the love in the world to the four currently committed members as well.

No. He has done an incredible job and I'm glad he's out coach. I would say the job he's doing is among the 10 best coaching jobs of anyone in the country. But he has been to two final fours and has no NC to claim yet. The fact that Izzo does makes me want to puke, and I personally think Izzo is actually overrated. So I would say that I think Beilien is the better coach, but national and local perception on the whole is that Izzo is a god.

Any time a player has seen their stock rise from 70-100 in their class to potential late first round pick in what people are speculating will be the deepest draft in history, and so much of the credit goes to the player themselves for the hard work they clearly put in along with unreal particular talents, there should never have to be any apologies.

I dont even want to look ahead yet. I just want to celebrate tonight. This team has been clutch lately. Couldn't quite get it finished against Arizona which is so frustrating, same with Iowa State, but I'll take the run they're on right now!

I'm really interested to see how this works out with Norfleet. Multiple people have mentioned him as a major beneficiary, mostly because Borges refused to use him effectively, but I don't see any Bama comparable that suggests he will be used often. Ironically, the closest comparable Bama had to Norfleet would be Dee Hart (in terms of size and speed comparisons) and he never recorded a reception. If statistics tell a story, his usage was strictly as a runner and only a couple times per game at that.

Not only does Braden need to own that spot, but he and Magnuson need to stay healthy. There's terror when everyone behind them on the depth chart is listed as raw. Sure, Kalis could move over if necessary, but that's less than ideal.
