Love your work on This American Life and elsewhere, Davy. Wish I lived close enough to use season tickets. I’m sure you and your dad have many wonderful memories. Best wishes to you both.
Reading through these comments is inspirational on so many levels. You’ve built a community of great Michigan fans and more importantly, good people, Brian. We love you and wish you health and happiness.
I’ve lived in Spokane for 20+ years. Perfect place for folks who love the outdoors with easy access to mountains and lakes. Cool downtown including a gorgeous and unique city park with waterfalls. Cultural, medical, and economic center for a huge geographic area because we’re definitely in the middle of nowhere.
Downsides include a lack of racial diversity, low average household income and a growing struggle with a homeless population (like most cities on the west coast.)
Gonzaga has a very pretty campus right on the Spokane River, but yeah, it’s shocking how Few is recruiting so well in a place this off the grid.
Only made it about 50 pages before giving up. I apparently lack the patience and/or intelligence to make it through that dense prose. Hats off to anyone who can.
That Wheatley tribute video is well worth14 minutes of your day. How long did he play at Michigan anyway, a decade? There are like 50 jaw-droppng highlights.
Ty Isaac brings that combination of size and speed. Here's hoping he has something approaching a Ty Wheatley career.
It's worth noting that Doyle had three defenders all over him when he grabbed the rebound and made that bucket Brian described. Really impressive play.
Brian's tone has been borderline jolly in these non-OL position previews. It seemed like the last 6 years of futility (save 2011) nearly destroyed his soul. By mid-October, the blog is mostly Morrisey lyrics.
Let's hope Michigan has a solid season this year, for all of us.
The autograph thing is tricky. What's to keep wealthy boosters from paying players a thousand bucks per autograph? If that happens, then wouldn't many recruits gravitate toward the schools whose fan bases "value" (wink) player autographs the most?
Got my 10 year old daughter a Kindle Fire HD and wireless keyboard. After almost a year, it's still going strong. This was her second tablet. She pretty much destroyed the first one (a $120 Coby) within 6 months. Durability is probably #1 on your list, and I'm shocked how much abuse the Kindle has endured.
It still runs apps, movies, general web browsing, etc. quickly and without glitches. The speakers are excellent, much better sound than my iPad 2 which cost twice as much. Can't recommend the Kindle Fire enough.
The bar is not under any legal obligation to release it to the public. Police may choose to do so during or after the investigation. Either way, I hope LSUFreek gets his hands on it.
I gotta hand it to Eleven Warriors...of all the attractions in Ann Arbor that I've recommended to visitors, the Henry Ford Museum has never, ever crossed my mind.

We’re so fortunate as a fanbase to have Brian and twice as lucky to have Seth. Thanks for all you guys do!

Definitely need a talented big wing with Livers and probably Wagner gone next season.
Problem, we have a Houstan.
I’ll show myself out.
Donald Trump is a jerk. Neg away!
There was so much good news Brian had a seizure.

Our days of glory
are slipping further away
oh look! Here comes death.
Same here. Heartbeat City - Pine Knob in the summer of ‘84. Opening band: Wang Chung(!).
One of the best sites on the whole damn internet, regardless of topic. Thanks to Brian and the whole team for pouring their hearts into it.
Thanks to Brian and the staff for all your hard work throughout the year.
Over the past decade, MgoBlog has done more to unite and inspire the Michigan fan base than at least two of our football coaches and one AD.
Funky Cole Bajema.

Congratulations, Brian! You are providing the counterbalance to Cowherd being back on the air.
Very well deserved.
She's the mom every obsessed Michigan football fan always wanted.
I love Mama G.

Hair, shades, extra ham
Noodle, wow! pepperoni
Sweet Caroline. Bye.
Turned down for what?
For a guy who doesn't talk about injuries, he sure talks a lot about injuries these days.
I'm sure Coke is thrilled that they now have dozens, perhaps scores, of new customers. That should really help the bottom line.
Coke is a terrific, well-known product. Now if it were RC or some other off-brand, that would be embarrassing.
Go now. No harm shall come to you.

Could we have thrown darts, blindfolded, at a recruiting spreadsheet and ended up with more solid starters than this class produced?
Yes. Sadly, the answer is yes.
Sam Webb agrees with Herbstreit on the timing of the announcement and the "pleased" reaction. He also says to expect more manball.

Is that a bad thing? Hell if I know.
I can't believe Hand wouldn't be impressed by the chance to meet Tito Jackson. He's probably the 4th most talented Jackson.
Fancy house be damned. We all know that Hoke will continue to eat, sleep, and live in Schembechler Hall.
Brandon, any truth to the rumor that you only interview silent commits?
Welcome, Brandon! You are now personally responsible for my emotional highs and lows throughout the year.
Demar Dorsey tore it up at Arizona Western College last year. Never forget!

Is THE_KNOWLEDGE banned from casinos?
I thought Morgan got there a split second late, but the fact that Triche was a little out of control made it easy to call the charge.
Refs calling such a tight game. Almost every Michigan starter is in foul trouble with 10 minutes left. Man, how things have changed.
One Frame at a Time is quickly becoming one of my favorite MGoBlog features. Thanks, Ace.
Strong work, Seth. It's meaty stuff like this that makes the off-season bearable.
This war on drugs is getting pretty sophisticated. Guess it's time to take that "Trunk full of heroin!" sticker off my bumper.
