Sounds like everything has been answered already. The picks made at the beginning of the year last all season. There was no update after Week 1 because there is not that much movement in the polls (except for one team :( but we won't talk about that). And it gives a little more time to get everything in order. We did have a couple people volunteer, so we should have the first recap post next week. Thanks for the email justingoblue I'll get in touch with you too. More people to share the work is always a good thing. |

I've never heard of Numbers and am always willing to investigate new things but unfortunately it's a Mac program. Have you ever heard of Prezi as an alternative to Powerpoint? I just learned about it and have tried it out a little bit but not very extensively, yet. All of my presentations have a lot of math so I use Latex and Beamer. I don't think I've done any work in Powerpoint in about 5 years. |

I'm not surprised that Joe Adams (Arkansas player) didn't give an answer but I do like that they asked him who would win in the championship game. It is pretty rare for a team to have played both BCS championship game teams. |

Arkansas wasn't eligible to be in the BCS since there were already 2 SEC teams picked. They definitely would have torched the Michigan secondary. But their defense is not nearly as good as Virginia Tech's defense. So it would hopefully still have been a competitive game. |

Very good article, thanks for pointing it out. What was most interesting to me was Utah's revenue. I had no idea that Utah was such a big university. They are 6th on that list of total campus revenue with 2.9 billion dollars. Admittedly, I know very little about Utah as a school but with roughly only one exception all of the schools in the top 20 are pretty darn good schools. |

Well, if Wisconsin hadn't lost against Ohio State in the last seconds of that game they would have been a second team blocked out of the championship game. How do you know Alabama is one of the two best teams? The only good team they beat was Arkansas, and possibly Penn State if you're being generous. |

Who cares if there are .500 teams (or even 6-7 teams) playing in bowl games? After this game there are only 31 college football games left until September 2012! 31 games! I say let every team play in a bowl game. Hell, let every team play in 3 bowl games. Extend the season through March. I need my fix of college football longer. |
