Assume that $1.5 Mill goes to Army. Call operating costs the same.
$3M / 100,000 seats (again, easy math) means that if each seat was $30 Michigan could break even. Tickets are around $80, so $5M straight profit homey.

I, like many, liked the idea, not the execution. I think that the number switching was annoying, the patches were too big, and all told it was a bit gimmicky. The main thing IMO was the lockers - the differently finished wood, etc. etc. drew too much attention and could have been difficult in a "team" setting.
That said, I would like if the numbers could stay in rotation. It's not like we don't all have our memories of player X in Jersey Y. Depending on when you went to school/started following Michigan Football lots of numbers mean different players in your brain. Is #77 Taylor Lewan? Jake Long? Etc. etc. To you who is #16? Is it Navarre? Shoelace? My point is, every number at Michigan carries weight. Yes, some more than others, but why not let the number itself carry weight? In the media notes for each game you could highlight the history of a jersey (Picture Musburger drawling "That tackle was made by Desmond Morgan, who's wearing Gerald Ford's old #48 jersey").
Small/no patches, take the lockers back to normal, cut the # switching and leave them in rotation while pumping the history through videos or media notes. Wouldn't that be a happy medium?

It's great when you can drive a car at 9/10ths and not be breaking laws.

Pioneered by Porsche in the 1980s on the 959... talk about a technology showcase.

Pretty fast for a computer (I kid, mostly).
But the Doblo you can buy here, now! as a Ram Promaster City. They didn't bring over the tiny european engines though.

The exhaust brap-brap-brap on lift off is one of the best engineered sounds of the last decade

More of a looker than a racer, but those Italians sure can sing! I often hear one before I see it - there are quite a few that tool around Chicago.

I'm sure the engineering behind that is so interesting.
And so... stupid at times now that we have easy electronic controls

I'm sure the temptation to Ferris Bueller Valet Guy was pretty high at times. Sounds like you've had lots of V12 experiences, depending on the AMGs. I think the most cylinders I've ever driven are V10s in Econoline rental trucks.

Had to take this now-and-then picture while at a Winery near South Haven. My blue GTI met it's much-older cousin!
|15 hours 55 min ago||Yep||
The 91 was factory geared at 4.10. Which did not make it a speed demon, but I did get it rolling from a stop in 4th once without stalling (was going for reverse...)
|16 hours 23 sec ago||Ahhh, contacts||
Those are some of the stories I was hoping for. I'm trying to schedule time with someone I work with at GM to hit up the Milford proving grounds. I believe one of the parts I'm working on ends up in the new Camaro... hoping for an SS drive there!
|16 hours 3 min ago||Have to think about it||
If I define speed as 0-60 times I think the winner is the 2015 GTI at 6.0 seconds. Not that I could hit that time...
In terms of the slowest it looks like my 1991 Jeep Wrangler with the 4 cyl was the "winner" at 11.5 seconds. Those 4 angry squirrels were rated at 120 HP when new, in 1991. I bought it in 2003. Loved that Jeep though...

Let's see what it does. Stauskas (Stauskas?) was a spot up shooter as a freshman, became the B1G POY and #8 pick (Stauskas??).
Trey had a good freshman year, but became TREY after one summer of development. Etc. Etc. Etc.

They have big sales every year to clear out the previous years' stuff, regardless of supplier. Adidas has new polo designs this year, so last year's go on sale, etc. That's how I've always picked up my polos, usually in August, and about half price

There are places to go near chicago (where I grew up and am now) but it's a day trip to actually offroad. I'll never forget that round trip from my dad's in the Chicago Burbs to Ann Arbor was 3 16-gallon tanks of gas... I do NOT miss that about my Jeep.

Hey man, any time you can spend $130,000 on a 1970's designed military vehicle, you've got to do it, right?

I owned 2 Jeep Wranglers. See the Avatar, that was a good stuck-in-the-mud. I can't speak to the latest ones, but my '98 was a much better 2nd car than a primary car. If you're using the Jeep as a regular car, you're going to have a bad time. If you're using it as a toy, it's perfect.

Turn your ire to the new CLA. It's a FWD platformed cheap Benz, but hey it's got that star on the grille.

You know that the Flex is just an Explorer - with more space because it pretends to be a truck less - right? More space, better mileage, and its cheaper!
Sigh... this is why no one buy station wagons...
|1 week 17 hours ago||I hear ya||
My sister has one and in my opinion they're great appliances for people who use their car as an appliance.
That said, I don't think I've ever driven anything more annoying. I was ready to strangle the engineer who OK'd the brake pedal feel. For those who don't know, hybrids and electric cars have 2 brake systems. One is the usual dry friction brakes that every car has. Hybrid/electrics also have regeneretive braking - using the spinning wheels to charge the battery back up. The Prius (and most H/Es) modulate these two braking systems with the one pedal and the transition between the two is absolutely awful. I think people will go elsewhere in a hurry. Teslas have the regen braking with the gas pedal - foot off the gas, regen brakes kick in. That way the brake pedal is just the "normal" friction brakes. Others have steering wheel paddles - like shift paddles, that kick in the regen brakes. Doing it all with one pedal is just a terrible way to drive.

Right up there with never trust a kicker. The good news is he's another lottery ticket that hopefully won't have to be scratched off for a couple years. Drevno has earned the trust in development, we'll see what his recruiting acumen is, or if it even matters because he can just coach them up.
