But active aero is nothing new. Porsche has had active rear spoilers since the 90's. The Panamera Turbo's is sweet

About damn time that GM updated the Lambdas, although the way theyve been selling you couldn't tell they've waited forever to do so.
The new Acadia looks sharp, and they've right-sized somewhat. They now play where eveyone plays.
In general, SUVs have exploded recently because they're so popular. There are really about 5 sizes:
B Segment (Tiny, don't buy one. These are dumb) - like the Jeep Renegade, Chevy Trax, Mazda CX3
C & D Segment (D will be a little bigger than C, but they're all marketed the same) - Ford Escape, Jeep Cherokee, Mazda CX-5, Chevy Equinox, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4, VW Tiguan, etc. Audi Q5, that size
E Segment (Bigger, more lux and expensive) Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Edge, Nissan Murano
3-rows (Popping out a few kids soon? Look here! Well, actually buy a minivan, but I digress) Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, Toyota Highlander, etc.
Towing (buying a boat?) Chevy Tahoe, etc.

Get that 9 speed.... (I have content in it!)
|20 hours 3 min ago||So... not a minivan||
But as is said up top, do you need a 3rd row? If you're thinking you'll need the 3rd row often, get a van. Full stop.
If you MAY need to use a 3rd row occasionally, and shove your kids friends back there, then you've got options. What Hailstorm said above is referring to real 2 row SUVs with a 3rd row for kids in the way back.
I'm a big fan of Car and Driver's reviews: http://www.caranddriver.com/search/all/3%20row%20SUVs They will give you lots of honest feedback.
It is very typical to get the best deal on a mid-range model. For a relevant example - do you get a fully loaded Tahoe? Or a stripper Yukon? I'd argue that you probably would rather have the loaded Tahoe. However, you'd be getting a better bang-for-your-buck by spending less on a mid-level Tahoe or stretching for a mid-level Yukon.
Does that make sense?

Average transaction price for a new car is over $30K. Typically the second largest purchase for people, besides houses.
I think we desperately need to raise the gas tax in this country, but that's a separate topic. (Cliff's notes - could pay for infrastructure and push consumers to get more efficient vehicles. Today we mandate auto suppliers make efficient cars, that no one buys because gas is cheap)

How will the speed limits go up? We could totally have 110mph speed limits today if we wanted to. We do not. The main reason? Our roads are absolute shit. Self driving cars aren't fixing potholes anytime soon. We would need a massive influx of cash to do anything about increasing speed limits.
Germany has perfect roads and no speed limits. And higher taxes to pay for it. And vehicle safety inspections. Etc. Humans there drive fast just fine. Everyone also follows the rules. No passing on the right, no sitting on the left. Both are ticketed offenses.

How do you get there? Do you retrofit the millions of cars on the road today? Because you aren't flipping the fleet in under 20 years.
|6 days 20 hours ago||None for me||
Debating a thread, but with the hoops team's recent success I've held off.
No autonomy for me. The average car in the US is now 11 years old. Even if every new car was offered fully autonomous, we'd have decades before the whole fleet switched over. Having autonomous cars and non-autonomous cars on the road together will be a huge mess (which it will be anyway). M City is wonderful because it can finally test these things in the winter. How does an autonomous car drive on a road that hasn't been plowed? How does it tell where the road is? We're decades away from me trusting those computers fully.
Give me 3 pedals or give me death!

How long is the leash for the coaching staff? Dantonio is the most successful coach they've had since the 50s, but I'd think there may have to be some changes. He didn't make ANY assistant coach changes after going 3-9, are there sparty faithful that would make some changes required? I mean, he also had a kid go straight from jail to the field, and with their hockey team we know that the AD doesn't exactly want "good" teams, but still.

NFL teams only dress 45 guys on gameday, so you dress maybe 7 DL total. Glasgow, while very good, wont be a star, so the odds are he's going to be a backup interior DL. To make a roster, it'd be best if he can play nose and 3T. It's why Michael Schofield got drafted - he was going to be a backup OL, so the fact that he could play guard or tackle was a huge plus.

The most impressive part of this famous play for me isn't Denard doing awesome Denard things, it's Patrick Omameh. RG, number 65 makes this play. He slides with the zone run, reaches the 2nd level, and absolutely dominates Te'o, getting a 2-for-1 pancake block on a future NFL high pick. I'll take his coach back.

HUGE omlettes, tons of hashbrowns, minimal cash. Food is OK-to-good, but as a college kid quantity was>>>> quality in this case. Can't always get Angelo's.
Probably wouldn't head there as a 30 year old though.
