But Adnan is guilty for sure.
|9 hours 30 min ago||Absolutely||
He's a legit Heisman Candidate QB. Few schools wouldn't want him.
|10 hours 29 min ago||If you care and read through archives,||
Tony (at least) seems very credible. He goes through his relationship with the Harbaughs in probably too much detail (over time). I'd be surprised if he's being un-truthful.

you have to keep B5 quiet as to keep it free of the trolls. Delete the link!
|11 hours 23 min ago||Thanks.||
Just wondering if you post on other boards. I have seen 3-5 different versions that all basically match up with your post. Everybody can't be wrong, right!
Anyway, I think the 49ers would make sure the tampering rules are strictly enforced. If Oakland comes in, they will demand some compensation/ players, because why not? I think if Harbaugh accepts the Michigan offer, then SF will allow that free and clear, but would not allow him to go to another NFL team for free.
And really, is Harbaugh worth $10+ million/ year + full control + draft picks to Oakland, when they can get a pretty decent coach for $3-5M and have a GM fully concentrate on contract negotiations and roster adds?
|11 hours 54 min ago||Is that from a poster||
or a moderator or a reporter?
|12 hours 49 min ago||I have seen both rumors, FWIW||
1) Michigan will pay $2.5M to Harbaugh as part of the $5M that SF owes him and SF will pay nothing to Harbaugh.
2) SF will pay the full $5M to Harbaugh and "fire" him as long as he doesn't coach in the NFL next year. (so SF will take the $5M hit).
Both of these rumors were from the same site, but different posters. My guess is that it's still up for negotiation, but the 49ers would look bad accepting money from a University and don't want the money and Michigan will fold the $2.5M into the actual ~6-8 year Harbaugh contract.
|15 hours 51 min ago||No offense, OP||
But there is a reason your brothers are IU and not UM grads.
|22 hours 14 min ago||Harbaugh is. Failure||
I mean 3 NFC championships and a super bowl, but no winning the show? Awful. He should be coaching pee wee.
|22 hours 16 min ago||It's nice to hear||
That Ronnie Lott and joe Montana think JH is a solid coach. That's important.
|1 day 9 hours ago||I'd add a 4th threat||
Through his playing/ coaching career and family, he's connected to a lot of different coaches and can leverage that for getting kids NFL tryouts or having HS coaches vouch for him.

They were posting about the BW3 Bowl and the Florida game in 2017 last December 22-25. Nothing about Harbaugh.
However, the social media team @ Michigan probably has no clue as to what Hackett is thinking.
|2 days 13 hours ago||I don't think so.||
The 49ers owe Harbaugh for next year unless he's traded (which he can veto) or he violates a contractual term. There is usually no way around this for employment contracts (it's why Hoke and Brandon get their full salaries).
|3 days 34 min ago||Don't think there is.||
The NYC folks that go to M usually come from educated families and therefore are Giant fans.

|3 days 48 min ago||Fame > wins||
The owner and GM care more about their own fame than actual wins. It's not as if they make more money with wins, but harbaugh got all of the credit, not the GM or owner.

Are corrupt. Players need second and third chances so coaches can straighten out their lives.
|5 days 8 hours ago||Agree,||
but is Ace any worse than the regular "sources" people post about?
Jeff Moss and Gregg Henson, who both seemingly make up stuff, not to mention Adam Schefter making up the iPad thing and Ian Rappaport doing a 180. Or Cowherd and his "mystery candidate".
All of these "reporters" are completely making up info for page hits, which is what Ace Williams is doing, so what's the difference?

Can we finally let in the No Fly Zone?
O, Let do it!
|6 days 12 hours ago||Schefter is generally a good reporter,||
but he's left in the dark on this search and so needs to make up ish to remain relevant. It's just business, fellas!

Didn't Sam or somebody report the exact same thing in like Monday? This is just getting mainstream attention now, but all agents and GMs would have known a few days ago.
|1 week 6 hours ago||Why?||
I have read this a lot, but why? Isn't Harbaugh under contract for next year as well? Is his buyout reduced if he quits after the season? Surely, Michigan can't "tamper" with an NFL coach.
|1 week 6 hours ago||Dude||
whatever you do, don't post the emails. You'll get a RE Agent fired and make Michigan look bad somehow. If you email Brian, then that's your good deed of the week.

should have came to you for advice.
I'd add that the alumni need not be the level of Nobel Prize winners, but very successful UM grads (e.g. Doctors, high level business people, teachers...).
It would be nice to take your kid to a game and have a UM Grad teacher who won a teacher of the year award honored at the stadium. Something like that is far better than having a mascot or playing Rawk Music.
