At the time, before RAs and RD's were required to be in specific majors/ degree programs, I probably "worked" 3-4 hours a week. We were required to be on call like 1 weekend day a month and 1 day a week, which worked out well as I studied during those times.

Being an RA was an awesome job. I was able to live in South Quad, eat for free and meet a bunch of cool students/ other RAs. I would suggest this route over living with parents.

You have to be a dumb a** who went to a crappy school to do such a thing.

I would add that many times I have seen the benefits of producing goods in "3rd world countries" to be low/ no concern to the environment, which equals lower cost. The US has very strong environmental regulations that just aren't there in a country like Bangladesh.



The other issue is humane treatment. It's not so bad that people (sometimes kids) are paid little vs US wages, but that they are treated so poorly (super long work hours, no workers comp, no breaks...).

If you actually go to the source WSJ article, Fios wants to negotiate on the fees they pay to the channels (specifically smaller/ mid-tier). Note, the BTN is partly owned by Fox, and would be bundled with the Fox channels (FX, Fox News, Fox Sports...) so they are not a smaller/ mid tier player.

1) He's never won a NC, even though Oregon is dirty, has the best facilities of any team, and has an endless supply of Nike money and uniform-flair

2) He's a system guy, who needs a GM and owner who understand this. He would need 2-3 years to build anNFL team that is 100% into his system (WR's who block, OL that sprint to the line every play, a team that will look to the sidelines for the audibles...). That's not easy to do in the NFL and will take time. If this fails, the new coach needs another 2-3 years to undo that mess

3) He needs to build an NFL staff (particularly on D) that is strong and wants to learn under him. This isn't the easiest thing to do when you have a unique system

4) The spread and tempo ideas that Kelly uses are slowly going into the NFL into hybrid systems (see Pats and Redskins). Owners think, let me get an safe coaching hire and then hopefully get RG3, Luck, Wilson in the draft and boom...playoff without the risk, expense, and ego of Kelly.

He won't get an NFL job, unless it's with somebody that has sucked for many years like the Jaguars.
