I graduated from a private MI college in 2005 and George W Bush was our commencement speaker. He actually wasn't too bad, he even had a couple of funny jabs at himself. Of course everyone was up in arms at that time about Iraq, ect, ect, so there were plenty of protesters around but nothing too crazy. No matter what your political beliefs, it's cool to get to see a sitting president give a speech up close and personal. |

As a GRCHS grad, it's great to see this kid make it to the big time. Just shows how far the football program has come at that school. For the record, I'm 99.5% sure this is the only D-I football recruit to come from this school......ever, Rivals era or not. Probably won't be the last though, given the huge injection of funds to the program. |

Wow, a GRCHS Eagles player being recruited by D-I schools? I graduated from there in 2001 and I think the football team maybe won 5 or 6 games the entire 4 years I was there. One year they didn't win a single game. Great to see they have turned it around (as state champs no less) and I hope Harris goes Blue. |

I think we get demolished. Something on the order of 35-6. Our offense has struggled to put points on the board against elite defenses since 2008. Without a running game, I just can't see how we put up points against this pass rush. I hope to hell come 4pm I am proven wrong, but as it sits I just don't see how this works out well for us. |

I cut the cord about two years ago and never looked back. I use my PS3 to get Hulu/ / Netflix. My wife has an Amazon Prime subscription so I also have access to free movies through them on my PS3. My biggest concern was missing MIchigan games but I can honestly say I haven't missed one game yet. I can get some through watchespn.com and the rest through frontrow.eu or network TV. I have a desktop connected to my TV so I can stream everything right to my big screen. I would recommend anyone considering this to take the leap. It seems crazy to say now, but I thought I couldn't live without cable TV. However now that I look back on it I wonder why I ever had it in the first place. The one obvious caveat is that you need to have a good internet connection. If you are running basic tier DSL, this probably won't work for you, at least very well. The average person will easily save $70+ a month so to bump your internet package should be well within reason. |

....is having the #1 draft pick on the O-line, a NFL starter at QB and a run game that didn't lnvolve using a QB made of balsa wood. This will be nothing like 2008. We have to play the team that beat the team that scored 41 on us. Worst possible scenario besides a rematch with Alabama IMO. |

Our offense has crashed and burned against the only 2 decent defenses we have played this year. Sorry, I don't see a B1G championship much less the Rose Bowl as a gimmie. MSU, OSU and NEB are still playing decent football and have defenses capable of giving Denard trouble. They aren't setting the world on fire, but they also aren't giving up 400yds to Air Force or giving the ball away 6 times in one game. I'm not saying it's impossible, but for me the ND, Alabama and to a lesser extent the AF game showed we are just too inconsistent on both sides of the ball right now to seriously start talking about a 0 or 1 loss conference performance. |

Denard looks like somone who has been over taught and now can't make up his mind about anything. I love Denard and will miss him when he his gone, but I'm pretty tired of living and dying by him. Just too inconsistent, especially against anything resembling a real defense. |

Exactly. We know enough to know that this defense is OK at best. Even Hoke is saying it's a work in progress. I don't buy the whole "DUDE WE ARE FINE OMG TRIPLE OPTION" arguement. They pretty much had their way with us all game, even outside of running traditional TO stuff. They were getting good yards on plays like fullback dives. Doesn't bode well for our d-line against teams that can actually open holes up front. |
