It's not up to Jalen to tell them when and how to fix things... the Webber problem is one bigger then just get over it. When your family is dragged into all this mess over the years, and the finger is pointed directly at YOU and no one else for the failure of the program... it's a slightly bigger problem. Personally I feel its a University vs Webber problem, not a Jalen Rose issue.

About 4 of those fighters have had fights on HBO within the last 5 months, 2-3 have had fights on NBC with the new premier boxing in the last 2 months. If you are a fan of boxing you can look for the fights, casual fans most likely are only paying attention to "big names" pay per view type bouts.
Sure Strizinger may look faster on film, but he also seems kind of small. Falcon looks like a totally different player physically when comparing the two.
2009- There were 25 other teams that also passed on Clay Matthews.. also he was projected as a 3-4 OLB, in which the Lions never ran
2010- Jahvid was a reach, but he was also a steal given his ability and where they drafted him. It was a roll of the dice, that looked great when he was healthy actually.
2011- Titus Young wasn't a bad player, he produced quite well. Now the other issues... are something else. If anything the more disappointing pick in 2011 was probably Leshoure from the same round in which we traded up for, and bypassed Torrey Smith, Randall Cobb, Demarco Murray picks later.
2012 - Ryan Broyles was another reach given his medical history. Passing up Levontae David, Ruben Randle, and TY Hilton looks bad now.
I'll give him credit for being aggressive in trying to acquire talent, and add to a team that was depleted when he took over. The position he was in, probably made him roll the dice and draft BPA and hope for the best
A.I was electric... you knew he was the best player as soon as the ball was tipped. He was so explosive. I think Burke is stronger just because of his build, he is put together pretty solid. A NBA PG that compares to Burke pretty good would be Jameer Nelson, and college would be Jordan Taylor. You can't be mad at either of those... but dont say AI again
Kevin Smith wants to be back, which I wouldnt be against at all. Price has to be right though. I can see him possibly replacing Morris or Williams as the 3rd RB.

to play PF. Smotz could be like Robbie Hummel pre injury..basically he is a 3/4, just depends on the matchup. In no way would I have him defend a wing like Buford, but he should be able to handle someone like Deshaun Thomas on the block and perimeter

WELL not making an excuse, but if you take into consideration we had a six game stretch during interleague play when we were outscored 54-32 (-22) by the Giants/Mets..not really a cause for concern to me. 5th in the MLB in runs scored, obviously just need consistent pitching from Scherzer and Porcello..Hopefully Fister becomes a great tradeoff from what we previously had, while hoping for 5+runs whenever Penny takes the mound. I'll leave the bullpen alone for now

I agree.. Loews, Gansevoort, or the W are some of the new properties right on Ocean. They also have a nice Marriott at the beginning of the strip, I think its like 2nd and Ocean? Right on the beach, and kind of in the "quiet'er" part of the blvd of nonstop action. Fontaine and Eden are both nice, but they are a nice drive (or terrible drive in traffic) away from the true South Beach
If you plan on staying on South Beach, check the hotels out through and through because they have alot of boutique hotels aka OLD hotels with a new coat of paint and room as big as your closet! Trust me though every other place serves 2 for 1 drinks and over priced italian food.

I have no clue why all the support was thrown behind Belein outside of the "he is the nice guy, he leads the ethics committee" crap. I cannot stand to watch the harlem globetrotters basketball weave at the 3point line before chucking brick after brick! His pedigree was suppose to be "shooting" but his shooters cant shoot!! The recruiting has been subpar, but I do have hope for CB aka Buckets next year, with Trey Burke also...He has missed that big name guy every year in recruiting, and sooner or later he has to land one or he needs to go also. If he landed Ziegler last year, or Amir this year I would be singing a different tune. Plus basketball is a sport were you can see a turnaround much quicker, based on landing a super recruit.

in high school a athlete of his caliber probably played both sides of the ball..they get projected at the next level by recruiting services etc..Just because he is being projected as a slot wr, doesnt mean he has never played any time at CB.
I mean im sure the coaching staff wants the same positions in this class some of us want, but they also cant strong arm anybody into a committment. Im not excited about this news, since I would love to see them land Ronnie Lott and Warren Sapp to close out this class also but Im not disappointed either. I still think with as good as Roundtree & Co is, this offense doesnt have that explosive playmaker from any WR (slot specific) position yet. Im talking turning a 2 yard route into a 30+ yard play (ie: Darius Reynaud, Jock Saunders, Tavon Austin, Percy & Florida crew). We still havent seen the slot motioned into the backfield for hand offs yet. So maybe he can? IDK.. Kind of confusing on this board with "we should recruit kids that want to come to UM", and this kid obviously does but he isnt what we want
should get it right now or next year. Leave it to next year to decide who "that guy" is. Personally I love Roundtree, everything he embodies but he is a piece not "that guy"..If Jr Hemingway can stay healthy, I believe he would of been the next WR to actually be that guy. I think with his size and skill, he is someone that defenses will begin to fear...I just dont get that feeling from Roundtree in the slot. Just my opinion though..then again I dont think we should be worried about jersey numbers while we need to be focusing on W's!!

We do seem to have depth at WR...but could the call have been made to Devin, because things are a done deal with Hakeem Flowers possibly?
