Leave the weeknights for the MAC!
Friday night is the worst of any night for a college game in my opinion.
Sounds like Rutgers vs. Illinois next year is a lock for a Friday.
Personally I'm excited for the coaching snowflake thread, but how long until most of you forget that Belein has turned this team (without Levert in the lineup) into a NCAA team and go off the deep end again?
I vividly remember staying up late with my dad to watch the game, and the horror as my 6th birthday turned from a chance to watch a Michigan national championship turned into a nightmare circumstance.
Lets not forget that coach b has led us to a 21-3 record coming into this game. Fwiw..I don't know if anybody would beat state tonight as well as they've played. Our 4 losses have been on the road in the big ten..at arguably the 4 toughest places to win in the conference. Lets not get into freak out mode until we lose to all of these teams at home.
Remember..it was only 6..six..SIX!..days ago when we beat osu in ot and everyone talked about how well coached and complete this team was. To my knowledge we haven't lost anything from that team.
We've all learned by now that recruiting rankings are a set in stone way of judging how a players career is going to be...NOT!
Not everyone can be a five star in the eyes of these services..and many times they aren't bc they don't hit the camp circuit or play in the site sponsored all-star game. With a lot of hokes recruits they've been committed long before the camp circuit and choose not to go bc they're already firm in their commitments to play for us. Elite is all in the eye of the beholder.
Based on Rivals formula (http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?SID=880&CID=1364602) for team rankings, the commits of Dawson (142 pts. on Rivals formula) and Hill (105 pts.) will bring our current point total to 2757, giving us 26 more points than current first place USC at 2731 points!
Although this lead may be temporary with many other teams having commits on their way, I'd say it's a nice spot to be in with guys like Green (216 pts.), McQuay (211 pts.), and many others still looking hard at Michigan.

Oakland is obviously playing the waiting game to get Harbaugh...
Respect.
Also, please don't rush the court tonight after our "epic win" over Indiana.
This program isn't at the Brian Ellerbe led level anymore..let's not talk like we are please.
Walton has 53 rebounds in 7 Big Ten games (7.57/game). Leads the team in rebounding now!
I'd like to go back through the threads after the Xavier, UConn, and SMU losses and re-read what some people on here had to say about JB.
What a coaching job he has done..4-2 without Levert, including a big win against #3 Maryland, and now a ROAD win against a hot Nebraska team.
In JB we (should all) trust! Taking this team/program back to the NCAA Tourney.
Now, I'm going to go have a sub. It's going to be crazy.

Billy Packer's voice still makes me cringe.
Here's to better things this time around!

Good call, I got ahead of myself a little bit there I guess
