Nothing was ever reported as a suspension but Stonum did miss time early last year. And none of this changes the "Zero Tolerance" policy that Dantonio stated, would be in play. Mark Dantonio clearly makes his decisions based on what gives him a better chance to win, first and foremost.
If he really said all of those things about second chances and zero tolerance, he should be crushed in the local media for not kicking him off the team.

The Woman reporter should be given credit for asking the question. His response is ridiculous.
it is pretty easy to arm chair quarterback a decision to kick a kid off of the team. But the reality is, it isn't an easy decision to do at all. Coaches learn to love their players and they will put up with a certain amount of "growing up".
Would you have a problem with him not dismissing him from the team but not allowing him to dress again?
