Magnus, other than you, do you remember who he profiled?
|3 days 9 hours ago||Where is 6-0||
Yeah you're right Six-Zero did do a few MGoBlogger Profiles about a year/year and a half ago. Haven't seen him or the profiles since.
|4 days 7 hours ago||HOW?||
How is that possible! WD doesn't look old enough to have been born when Nike was our sponsor.
|4 days 8 hours ago||to do||
to do what?
Coach football? For real ?!?!?!?
|4 days 8 hours ago||Wow||
You are young looking WD. You need to grow a beard or something.
|6 days 7 hours ago||Bare feet||
Is that Glendening walking barefoot on the ice.
|6 days 8 hours ago||Not so bad||
Could have been much worse.

You're right. Unless they're trying to add to their footprint, solidifying Texas by adding Houston makes sense. SMU too if they need balance though they really bring nothing to the table after Larry Brown gets their sort of resurgent basketball program bombed by the NCAA.
Perhaps they think they can get some kind of foothold in Florida and add SFU and CFU but if a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it because they're too busy cheering for Miami, Florida and Florida State.........
|1 week 12 hours ago||Question about roster size||
Quick question. I know we can only have 85 scholarship players but is there an NCAA limit on roster size. I think we've taken like 15 preferred walk ons this year alone.

The basketball team was all seated together in the Alumni Association section last night for the hockey game. Very cool to have the solid section of M alums with the hoops team and some other AD administrators right in the middle. Penn State had a big student section with their band parked I the middle about two sections over from us. All through the hockey game the AA section led by the basketball team was leading the responsive Go Blur cheer with the sections on the other side of the Penn State students. It was a good scene.

PSU had exclusive ticket distribution so I wouldn't be surprised if it's more PSU fans
|1 week 3 days ago||On the band..||
I could be wrong but I don't think so. It's a PSU home
|1 week 4 days ago||Back to back||
PSU kills a power play then gives us a 5-3. Two PSU players off for roughing
|1 week 4 days ago||I'll probably||
I'll probably be the only one wearing a tie in there (maize and blue and you can guess).
|1 week 4 days ago||Quick in game roll call||
Anyone on right now going to MSG on Saturday night? MGoMeetup at American Whiskey before the game. I'll be there.
|1 week 4 days ago||PSU answers||

|1 week 4 days ago||The ruling||

Maybe CoE Class of '34.
|1 week 5 days ago||Congratulations||
Congrats Brian and god help you.
|1 week 5 days ago||Aside||
Aside from the fact that it's a former M man who made good elsewhere coming home, the big happy for me is that, for the first time in a very long time (at least preceding Goss, Martin and Brandon that I can remember) we have an actual lifetime athletics administrator taking our AD job instead of bringing in "businessmen".

Connecticut papers are reporting it as well
|1 week 6 days ago||I posted that||
It didn't get taken down, it just got run off to the second page of the board within 5 hours since so many other posts started. Here was the info
If any alums in the greater NYC area are
1) Going to either or both of the basketball or hockey games at Madison Square Garden against Penn State this Saturday
2) Live in the area and want to watch the game(s) with other Michigan fans
The UM Club of NYC and the School of Kinesiology are co-sponsoring a gamewatch/between game party at a bar called American Whiskey 247 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001 (right down the street from MSG. Basically Michigan has the whole bar for the day so whether you want to watch the games or have a nearby place to go between, here's your ticket.
You need to register to get in by following this link:
By the way, MSG just released a bunch of tickets that Penn State couldn't sell so if you're still interested in going to the games, click here to get tix:

I'm not sure what the point of this event is but I hope it works.
|2 weeks 5 hours ago||Big difference||
About the only similarity is that they both were on the football roster under Bo.
Warde v. Brandon
Actually played Rode the pine
Worked in M AthDept before Not so much
Worked in Athletics whole career Hucked bad
pizza most of
Warde worked his way up for years with the M A.D. and then sserved as SUNY Buffalo's AD and UConn's AD and has done nothing but distinguish himself. Hell, Buffalo was sort of good at football for 10 seconds under Warde's watch. No comparison.
|2 weeks 5 hours ago||If you don't watch the show||
If you don't watch the show, you would never know it was him. He got BIG for this role. He really towers over everyone in the cast.
|2 weeks 5 hours ago||That would be interesting||
LET THE REIGN OF KINGPIN BEGIN
|2 weeks 5 hours ago||I'm doing the same||
Got a group of five alums, two wives and a non-Michigan alum coming. Just register them all.
|2 weeks 10 hours ago||Kinda weird||
Kind of weird seeing the kids high school "Spartanesque" uniform next to the block M.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||In all sincerity||
From a guy who likes hockey but never played, why the hell don't NHL players wear full face shields? Does it affect their play or something.
