I agree with you totally... I understand a lot of it is to get the players excited and this "new era" of marketing college athletics ... however, as the post above suggest, is changing the unitforms worth getting lost in all of the "noise"? For someone in there mid-20's I tend to side on tradition and nothing is more recognizable than the block M, maize and blue and of course the winged helmet. Why fix something that isnt broke?!

In regards to Stauskas attitude, I dont mind a little swager... I think the entire team has a little and they all feed off it. So long has a player doesnt embarass himself, the team, and school theirs nothing wrong with a little emotion.

With Norfleet moving to CB I can see one of the two moving to the offense

God knows there are way too many PA transplants in the Raleigh area... They have the fanbase down here, but like you said PSU is more culturally aligned to the B1G and I think financially its a wiser decision to stick with the B1G... if a move like that were to happen though, it would be a boost in football for the ACC and help keep schools, like FSU, from considering to leave the conference. If the price was right, you never know?!

This is the 2nd thread title Ive seen this week with MMB instead of MBB! The last time I checked MMB was the abbrevation for Michigan Marching Band and MBB meant Mens Basketball... its almost as bad as someone saying Michigan University or MU

Just "throwing" it out there... with the potential of ACC schools (like an UNC) joining the B1G, I can see it benefiting lacrosse, but also think the additions would also benefit the conference in baseball.... when was the last time the big ten was competitive in baseball? the 1950's and 60's? 

I think it only helps the sport out more... im sure at one point people thought they wouldnt see a professional hockey team in Dallas, Tampa, Raleigh, Phoenix... but if there's a market, there's a way... sure we are talking about college athletics, but the B1G has a large market that would only help the sport grow more.

With schools like UNC and Virginia being major players in lacrosse and possible candidates to join the B1G, im sure they'll be keeping an eye in how the B1G reacts to the sport.

By the way, doesnt Rutgers have a decent lacrosse program?

You realize that a QB needs to have his Oline stop the pressure from rushing in... an Oline that can open gaps for a RB, who in turn takes pressure off the QB... A WR that understands how to run his routes in order to catch the ball.... we also need a defense that can perform their responsibilities as well....

Neither Denard, Morris, or Joe Montana could get the job done if the rest of the team isnt performing... Its year 2 of a new system and your first game of the season is against the defending national champions, who happen to blow man children out of their ass like nothing...

Btw, the comment "You get the most dynamic player in the game but you don't have the history to know exactly how to use him." is ludacris... go ahead and let our star QB run into a brick wall 4 or 5 times and lets find out what happens then.... this is another reason why I think Rich Rod would've failed... you cant let a 5'11 190lbs QB run into a 6'6 300 manchild without it effecting his performance during that game and most likely the remainder of the season... we pay our coaches some pretty good money and im pretty sure they know how to manage our players and utilize their skill set the best way possible... like borges said, it depends on the game and situation...

He was considered one of the top DB in NC last year. I live in Raleigh and have a good friend whose the uncle of another highly rated DB/WR who plays for Leesville High School (Raleigh) and have heard his name come up before... he has a decent build and has great awareness, so im sure the staff see someone whose coachable and could be used in a variety of positions... As happy as I'am to see him get an offer from us, I just think it's odd that for as bad as the ACC schools are in football he would've received more than 1 offer... either way Go Blue!

By this logic why isnt Hawaii a power house? By the way, I would take any beach in Northern Michigan (withe 4 seasons) over a beach in "The Hills"... if thats all it takes to win a kids heart over, why cant we call up Kid Rock and organize some sort of beach party up in the dunes?

My wife watches this show all the time and unfortunately I started watching and became a fan... so much that I went on to check out spoilers and reports show that the Ben will propose to the model... I guess something happens at Kacie B hometown date and he sends her home!

I was hoping I could go to sleep, putting this JoePa thing to rest, but all this talk about JoePa was being "human" and he was old so give him a break  just doesnt add up...y

First, they guy had the capability to talk with recruits, organize a game plan and find a way to still win games... then you have his comments which show the guy had the mental capability of understanding and follow basic rules and regulations....

“I didn’t know exactly how to handle it and I was afraid to do something that might jeopardize what the university procedure was,” he said. “So I backed away and turned it over to some other people, people I thought would have a little more expertise than I did. It didn’t work out that way.”

Ok… I can relate to his comment and would figure that this would be his first thought... but then after his dismissal from the University, I’m left with comments such as…

“It is one of the great sorrows of my life. With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more…”

Come on… be "human" and use some logic. People generally care about their image, especially in threads like these were nobody knows or cares who you are!! Wouldn’t you think that a head coach for a major university, whose life is very public, would at least see that their entire life work isn’t damaged by one man? Anyone in that situation would've taken an aggressive approach from the start! Especially from a man that has such “high moral values”! JoePa is just as guilty and had every part in seeing Sandusky evade school administration and state officials for so long. Shame on JoePa and shame on all those that want to live in denial.

You're making it sound like its a problem that will never be fixed. I look at it like a WR missing his assignment, which is something that can be fixed through practice and coaching. If Denard practices and becomes more comfortable in this "new" offense, I don't see why it wouldn't drop (especially after this year).
