He has the right to say whatever the hell he wants to about Michigan as well as any if their opponents. Actually, this is America, so regardless if you played for U of M, you also have the right to say whatever you want about whomever you want. If someone has a problem with that, there are many hundreds of other countries tht you are free to move to. Michigan fans can be such douchebags sometimes. |

aside from the drug use, here are a few items that may have bothered Dantonio. 1. Dude is rapping out of a shed. Not just any shed, but one like a model outside of any Home Depot. Plus, it's pimped out with super nice Art Van couches and spray paint grafitti... it's truly epic, and horrendous. 2. My boy had like 2 or 3 "bills" in the cupholder of his Kia Sportage like he was flossin' some major bank. There was $300 at best, not exactly "makin' it rain" in this video. 3. Kia Sportage: unless you're a hipster or a homeless person, you don't drive this rig. It's neither gangsta nor pimpish. In fact, it probably doesn't even start. 4. He is sporting the same plaid Polo shirt I had in 9th grade. Which, by the way was in 1989. Sorry my man, you ain't Macklemore, that shirt is Slavation Army-esque. Plus, it's not 1990 and rappers haven't buttoned the top button on their Polo since NWA did it back in the day. Rapper's wear either skinny jeans and Vans, or 3 piece suits now. Polo is a no-go! 5. That "spliff" would have made Charles Rogers embarrassed to be a Spartan. If you're going to roll a fatty, it's gotta be bigger than your pinky, bro. Plus, that white dude in the passenger seat had mad acne. The last thing he needs is to be smokin' the gonj and causing another mass outbreak on his forehead. Sorry guys, that aint thuggish.
EDIT: Whoever tagged this as trolling is baked. I'm mocking a former Spartan recruit... how is that trolling? Unless you drive a Kia, you've got no reason to be trolled by this post. |

| 2 weeks 4 days ago | Question for the mods |
Awhile back, someone's post about Lil Wayne being hospitalized and near death was deleted, but this stands? Don't get me wrong, I think this is a perfectly fine OT post and have no issue with it. My issue is with the inconsistency of moderating. Your thoughts? Is Kris Kris's more relevant than Weezy? |
| 2 weeks 4 days ago | That's a very offtopic answer. |
The issue being addressed here isn't player safety, it's the length of the season and how that interferes with classes. 2-3 basketball games per week over the course of 4 months is very different than 1 game per week for 12 weeks with a 2-3 week break and then 2 more games for the top 4 teams. Your answer leads me to believe you've never played either at a high level or you are just picking a battle with me for some reason. Either way, you're wrong. |
| 2 weeks 5 days ago | While I agree to an extent |
Isn't it funny that this argument NEVER brought up when talking about expanding the CBB tourney? It also wasn't a concern when the conference tournament was added to the Big Ten slate. It's a horseshit argument as only a few teams will play that many anyway. |

but if he did, who gives a fuck? If he's in the top 5% in Victors Club points, as many of us are on this blog, he has the right to criticize anything he wants... Most especially the embarrassment that was the Michigan fan base at times during the past few decades. From the hate mail that the Fab 5 received for being "black" to the way the AD and fan base treated RR, he has as much right to be disgusted as anyone. In fact, he has more of a right than the other 95% of the fan base who have given less in financial support to this Athletic Department. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean he is wrong or doesn't have the right to voice said opinion. FWIW, the Oregon game is also my worst loss, even above the Horror because it proved that we had fallen from the presumed perch if the elite despite massive amounts of NFL talent. Talent the likes of which we haven't had since, including the RR era. |

You actually might take more shit than anyone, myself included, but you are dead on. I assume you are a bit older than the majority of the 18-24 year olds on this blog. Like you, my perspective gets shunned and negged because I have a perspective that differs from the baseline experiences of most on this board. You remember what it was like to be in college and know everything, right? Only once you hit your thirties do you gain perspective on things like this, and you realize that even people who are employed by Michigan make mistakes sometimes. This is a mistake but I think if GA is the way to go, please, make the parking lots that way as well. The lack of consistency by the athletic department is mind-blowing. Keep up the good fight. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | Don't get too excited, there may be a catch... |
I can imagine a scenario where all of the games will start at 3:30 or later just to save Brandon the coin on this. Which, by the way, would be fantastic. Noon games are for "Down-in-fronters" and softies. |

| 4 weeks 6 hours ago | Seriously? |
Simply mentioning the names Barack Obama and Sarah Palin cross the line of politics? Where did I make a political statement? I simply said both are terrible public speakers, which is easy to make a case for. To deduct my points is more of a political statement than what I posted, don't you think? Unfair Censorship! |
| 4 weeks 17 hours ago | As bad as that was |
I think the worst on-air meltdown I've seen has to be either the first debate between Romney and Obama this past year when Barack seemed to be only able to say the word "ummm" or any public speech given by Sarah Palin. - I'm hopeful that someone doesn't complain about this being a political post or that I favor either party. That is all. |

| 4 weeks 1 day ago | How would Minny ever be |
A non-conference game? Do you know something I don't? |
| 4 weeks 1 day ago | Yes I did. |
And you have a lot of time on your hands. Gotta go.... |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | It stops being a rivalry? |
Why, because M wins most of the time? If that's your logic, "The Game" isn't much of a rivalry anymore either. OSU has owned the win column over the past decade. |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | Come on boys |
You're one step closer to a perfect season. |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | That's funny |

Even if the divisions aren't 100% balanced, I don't really care. You can't make that perfect no matter what you do. All leagues with divisions are slightly unbalanced. It'll work itself out. The most important thing is that the rivalries are now all contained within the divisions, except IU-PU. The oldest rivalry is the Jug Game which won't happen every year. |

They are also once again shuffling the parking lot situation this year which is taking extra time. It seems now that you will need 800 points or more for parking in the Blue Lot and 500-560 points for any of the others. The deadline for this is April 26 with payment due by May 10, so I would think tix will be due right around then as well. EDIT: down voted as trolling? | 5 weeks 4 days ago | First of all, he doesn't have AIDS |
Or at least has never said he has AIDS, just that he's HIV positive. What I was trying to do with my post is spark some conversation or get input on thoughts regarding his supposed diagnosis as he's the only person ever publicly profiled to contract HIV, especially during the 90's when treatment options were very limited, and survive while appearing to be relatively healthy for over a decade. Further, HIV typically presents with rapid physical deterioration of muscle accompanied with rapid weight loss. Magic has gained over 100 lbs since being diagnosed. Lastly, his business ventures have flourished since the announcement of his diagnosis. Perhaps it was all a stunt to deceive the public and further some lucrative business ventures. It's all just a bit sketchy to me, especially since he's been accused of fleecing the African American community with some of his business (see ticket prices at theaters that he has placed in African American communities for example). This is what I was implying. |

that you have 2 ears and only one mouth so you should listen twice as much as you talk. Unfortunately, you have misunderstood this math as it applies to this blog. You seem to think that you have 2 eyes and 10 fingers, so you can spew 5 times as much trash. If you read my post, you see that I'm attacking Izzo, not the Spartan fan base. It's entirely different to go after a troll like Izzo after he shows zero class or respect for our fine coach. You would never hear that shit from other BI6 coaches save for maybe Crean. I don't draw satisfaction by comparing this teams success to anyone, but I do enjoy watching Izzo come unglued and expose himself to the national media as the little man that he really is. |

| 6 weeks 18 hours ago | Crazy thing about Denard/ Charles pic |
The two are conversing as if they know eachother quite well. It's startling to think that Denard was literally celebrating his 7th birthday the day that Charles Woodson and Michigan beat Colorado in 1997. Kind of makes you appreciate the comradery of one generation Michigan player to the next. What 7 year old future great Wolverine was watching Denard will us to victory over ND at UTL... we shall see. |

But they both take a distant second to "fucking up coaching searches". He is a scratch handicap at that game. PS: I liked RR and Love Beilein... just sad it took us an extra decade to rebuild the hoops program when Pitino would have done it much sooner... in all likelihood. Still wouldn't trade Beilein for anyone else in coaching... that includes Coach K. |
| 6 weeks 23 hours ago | After Izzo trolled Beilein on TV saturday |
I wonder how good his Cheerios taste this morning with all that piss in tne bowl. He is getting angrier and angrier with each passing season. And that's saying a lot. |

| 6 weeks 4 days ago | At Michigan we value character? |
You value character, you don't and can't speak for what Michigan values. Chris Webber was the least significant figure in the Ed Martin scandal. There were dozens who had to be complicit or at least willing to keep their mouths shut because Michigan was winning basketball games. There are individuals who were never punished to the extent Webber was, yet your blame rests squarely on his shoulders. Everyone deserves a homecoming regardless of the past if they are willing to make amends. His ban from the university is up soon, and if he does take steps to repair this situation, I believe he should be allowed to do so. Michigan values character... we shall see. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | I hear you |
You and I both grew up in west Michigan, so obviously we have a similar perspective. I was just trying to make a point that Ann Arbor is a great college town and beyond that, has nothing on Columbus as far as a quality city is concerned. People here rag on it because we're all a bunch of Michigan fans, but for those who've never spent any time there, it's a really stupid opinion to vocalize because it couldn't be further from the truth. Michigan is a better state than Ohio for many reasons, but Columbus is a great town and you don't build that kind of infrastructure without having some academically competent residents living and working there. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | I'm sure there were no improprieties or payoffs |
in that case either. I wouldn't Judge her solely based on that case... It was OJ-esque to say the least. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | "Slightly eccentric"? |
That's like saying people commenting on this thread are slightly off-base about Cbus. Nonetheless, Ted was bat-shit crazy as a youth and even too crazy for Berkely as he was fired very soon after arriving. Going off the grid in Montana was just the icing on the cake. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | A thriving economy for starters. |
A great downtown area and a low cost of living. Large population and tax base. I'm starting to get jealous the more I think about this. I see why you moved to LA instead of Detroit, although, California's economy |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | I think the reign of Kwame trumps these all. |
And the "Unabomber" doesn't help. Just saying... glass houses bro! |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Don't understand the outrage here |
It's sort of "Spartyish" or "Little Brother-like". I'm a resident of this great state |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I see your point |
But I don't have a game. I replied to a question, you attacked me, I defended myself, you labeled me. I'm over it... moving on. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | Perfect! |
That will be my home screen then. Book it! |

| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I can't read minds |
but I do know what it means to become successful and what it takes to maintain a high level of success. Anything else you want to know? No? Well then, I'd like to know why you troll this board pretending to be an octogenarian named Herm? |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | Great post and great link |
Thanks for the effort. And for the dick who down voted the post... Grow up toolbag. Still getting trolled. Too funny. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | He knows he's won it already |
So I think it's validation more than anything. He is locked in to winning this weekend and nothing will change that. He knows he's headed for greatness and I think he wants to win the championship more than anything. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | Great insight and I thought the same thing |
Beilein is a student of the game, even today after several decades as a coach. I like the familiarity he has with Boeheim and his system. The athletes that Syracuse has are impressive, but our team ain't too shabby either. I'm really excited as I have watched a ton of Cuse basketball the last 8 years or so. Hope they're wearing their orange and we are in yellow. Will look great on TV. Down voted for off topic? That's funny trolls. |
| 7 weeks 20 hours ago | So, are you also going to ask |
if our loss to PSU in hoops was as bad as losing to Appy State that year too? |
| 7 weeks 20 hours ago | There were multiple replays |
From multiple angles. It was horrifying. Edit: faulty server caused me to post multiple times from the same angle. |

Have some victory sex with your girl or blog about Game of Thrones. |
| 7 weeks 1 day ago | Your question was about why people |
who didn't go to the university donate and I answered your question with a name who has probably given more than anyone and he didn't go to Michigan. I said nothing about his brother, nor did you until you googled Al Glick and read about him so that you could make your dick comment. For this you say I'm being obtuse? Stop being an asshole. Happy Easter. |
| 7 weeks 1 day ago | Exactly |
And an MGoBlog shirt. |
| 7 weeks 1 day ago | Which one should he change? |
There are technically two of them that need revision. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | The fact that alums get more points now is meaningless |
in the grand scheme of things. You see, they get 20 points total, as in one time, not 20 points per year. Therefore, after 4 years, this "inflation" of their points becomes moot. The 15 point boost is basically the equivalent of donating $1500, which broken out over 4 years, is only about $375 per year. It's a short term gain for alums but means very little in terms of displacing any current season ticket holders as it pertains to rankings. All it takes to stay ahead of them is a $1500 gift, or buying $1500 more in tickets or parking passes. The real beauty is the 50 pt bonus I got as a charter Victors Club member. That's like graduating from Michigan 2.5 times. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | Are you serious |
Or just trolling me? Does the name Al Glick mean anything to you? |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | Yeah, but you got 15 bonus points |
if you're an alum, so it's even. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | 600th post |
It's a good video |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | I liked this video better |
When it was posted the first time earlier this week. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | That means you'll have two too |
And two is better than one too. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | That's a bold statement |

| 7 weeks 2 days ago | I just spoke with Sue Vershum in the Ath Dept |
They will transfer tickets right now. |

So I reread it 3 times trying to find a complete and rational thought. I failed. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | It wasn't politics |
It was pointing out that union work is the sub par. Troll. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | Because plumbers |
Are still unionized. Nuff said. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | Between this post |
And your signature, you seem to be infatuated with shit. Stop posting please. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | You get priority points |
For any donation or funds paid to the athletic department. I used to accumulate points for my basketball tix, not sure why hockey would be any different. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | Hey guys |
That option is available right now. The problem is that he would lose all of his priority points and you would start out at the ground floor. I suggest transferring all but one seat. That way you get the tickets and the benefit of him being way up the list on points, which gets you options like parking passes and |

Conversely, Borgess receives an extra stack of pancakes for each win with no cap. I think both are master negotiators. |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | Precisely right. Most power lifters |
have absolutely zero cardiovascular fitness. They can't run more than 200 meters without gasping for air. Also, athletics required quickness and good mobility. Most of these guys couldn't even get a football helmet on due to their huge steroid enhanced craniums and having their mandibles directly connected to their chest. |

He was really short and has tiny short arms. No way he's playing center or any other position on the line... not at 5'6". He's a wrestler at best. |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | Say what you will, but if we beat Kansas |
I think we'll roll Florida in the Elite 8. Florida is a much easier game than Kansas will be. |

| 8 weeks 4 days ago | Good observation... Spot on. |
You can't fake that kind of poise. He is definitely more mature than last year and I would say he's probably up there with dare I say it... Tom Brady? Here's my rationale... If you look at some of the great QBs we've had in the past, guys like Henne and Navarre and even Tate, they seemed to lack something in a leadership quality. For Navarre, I think it was confidence. With Henne, I think it was being a vocal leader and a bit of fire. With Tate, it was too much ego and not enough maturity and discipline. They all had skills and physical tools, but Devin seems to encompass everything you want in a starting QB. Should be fun to watch him apply it to the field. |
| 8 weeks 4 days ago | I thought I was the only one who thought that |

| 8 weeks 5 days ago | Delany, anyone with |
a head that big has NO business wearing that tiny "Euro-collar" dress shirt. Shameful. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | I'm trying to remain positive |
About alignment with Rutgers and Maryland, but another negative point just popped up. For "Themed Tailgate Foods", we lose cheese and brats with Wiscy and no-annual "home away from home" games @ Northwestern in favor of trying to figure out how to cook pasta in Pascataway and crab cakes in College Park. Sounds challenging for a Weber grill. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Actually, Wisconsin is the truly "red" school |
and they are NOT in our division. Rutgers is scarlet, and so is OSU. IU is crimson and Maryland is blue,, black, gold, white, and red, so it gets lost in the mix. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | As a huge Jerald Robinson fan |
and even bigger Lil Wayne fan, I'll agree to disagree. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | I'm flattered that you pay such close attention to my posts |
But it's a bad thread because it's not confirmed that it's the former Wolverine, so it would be completely irrelevant to a UM Sports Blog until confirmed. But I digress. Lil Wayne is also far more known than someone named Jerald Robinson who may or may not have any affiliation with Michigan or anything else for that matter. But hey, I didn't downvote you. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | According to my WSJ "Blinded Bracket" |
It's a Final Four of Indiana, Duke, Michigan and Saint Louis with Michigan beating Saint Louis for the National Championship. Good enough guess as anyone's. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Everyone knows... |
You gotta keep your weed warm. In before Mod delete |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Bellomy much bigger than last fall |
I noticed he looked markedly thicker in the spring practice video a few days ago... guess it's legit, which is good, as he looked like a high school freshman last year. Quick transformation IMHO. |
