Devin had Al (27 for 27) Borges as OC ... Borges would have killed any talented QB's ability. He was the single worst OC Michigan has ever had. Denard was the only reason he survived as OC ... because Denard was truly a one of a kind QB who was able to manufacture success out of thin air. Had Devin had any other competent OC, he would have been a very success Michigan QB. He had the skills - but no one knew how to use those skills!

I was heading to Nebraska and Penn State ... but I eliminated Nebraska for this year. Still going to Penn State. Just a heads up ... word is that Michigan might not be a White Out game this season, so perhaps a 3:30 kick vs night game. Difference is staying someplace near State College. Hotel prices are f'ing stupid anywhere within a hour of the stadium (nothing ever available in State College). We're staying in Dubois which is 2 hours away, at "normal" hotel rates.

So pre-season Michigan's schedule had more top 25 teams than any other team in the country, but you're saying it's a soft schedule ? That's either being clueless or just repeating what the trolls say. Week 1 is nothing more than opening night ... plenty of football to play, we may have lost Bell for the year - who was one of THE leaders on this team.
Michigan isn't looking at Washington's loss, or Wisconsin's, or Indiana's as a signal that they are not good - no coach would ever think that and you're incredible uninformed if you believe that's true.

OMG ... I really think a few of bloggers need to just give up watching M football. I feel like I represent maybe 5% of posters here who go to Michigan Stadium as a season ticket holder, and I'm excited as hell for Saturday's game! For me, a day of tailgating and being in Michigan Stadium are the 7 greatest Saturdays every year. Football is NOT life and death. Yes, winning is the goal ... but I choose to support this team as a fan.

I was heading to Nebraska and Penn State ... but I eliminated Nebraska for this year. Still going to Penn State. Just a heads up ... word is that Michigan might not be a White Out game this season, so perhaps a 3:30 kick vs night game. Difference is staying someplace near State College. Hotel prices are f'ing stupid anywhere within a hour of the stadium (nothing ever available in State College). We're staying in Dubois which is 2 hours away, at "normal" hotel rates.
It's OUR time this year in Happy Valley !!!

Seriously ... try wearing a Michigan jersey in Columbus. They will spit on you, kick you, and whatever else they want to do. That's "normal" for their "fans" (thugs).
I pray Michigan Stadium and fans in AA will never be like that. It would also be wonderful if our season ticket holders were REAL fans and wouldn't sell their ohio tickets. It is fucking embarrassing to go to Michigan Stadium and see thousands of their worthless "fans" in our Stadium.
This will end ... no one wins every fucking time. We did win in 2016 ... other than the refs gave ohio the win (and that wasn't just on the spot of the ball).

Cmon Seth ... we're talking Michigan football players (or #'s). Dennis Franklin was a great Michigan QB ... I remember him as a leader and and how the B1G screwed Michigan going to the Rose Bowl when he was injured. However, I never think of him as a "black" player ... just a great player. Maybe you need to do the same !

100% agree that Gattis is "THE" most critical aspect of this team's ability to be successful. There have been way too many "Borges playcalling" in his first 2 years. Surprise EVERYONE Gattis and realize that this team will NOT overpower anyone on short yardage downs.
He needs to develop a system that is NOT so predictable !!! We don't have Mike Hart running behind Jake Long ...

I'm tending to discount Seth's ratings (and inferences) due to his "MCS" (Matt Campbell Syndrome). I've also totally erased COVID FOOTBALL from my system, which hasn't occurred on MGo yet ... so I'm very excited that REAL football returns in September. Naming every other California potential recruit prior to focusing on Jayden was unnecessary and was "woe is me" writing.

It is so easy to focus a recommendation to "ban" based on generic perceptions. Very, very few people can even comment on what real everyday life was like in 1934. But isn't the concept to strive for betterment and freedom of will for all Americans (not every country even supports individual freedoms) in such a fashion that today is better for all people than in 1934, which then bodes well for what everyday life will be like 87 years from now in 2108.
There is no doubt whatsoever that Yost brought Michigan prominence and prestige to the University, which then also brought recognition to the standards of education which Michigan is still renowned for today. Over 2,000 years ago stoning people to death was "acceptable"? .... but a man clearly stated ... “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” The committee chose to throw the first stone.
I think it's a sad day.
