The owener of stacks was also the owner of Where else, across the street next to brothers. When brothers openned up, jakes revamped their specials to match, and they couldn't keep both stacks and where else busy, so they closed the one with a lower capacity. I don't ever recall drinks at stacks being particularly strong, but I also never made it there before late night. Stacks also got hit with a 500$ fine per person when they got caught with over 100 underagers in there one night |

Stacks is closed, it was a big time frat boy hangout anyway. There's no ladies at purdue, I lived in West Lafayette for over 20 years. My adivce is to go to Harry's, drinks are a little expensive but you get what you pay for, especially if you tip well. |

Sorry, the incorrect grammatical use of good and bad gets me sometimes, and I found it even more irking that the poster chose to attack the journalist's writing while still using incorrect grammar themself. And, strangely hypocritical grammar nazi fits me pretty well, I'm an English major who has fallen so far from his tree that I really don't know how to write GOOD anymore. Anyway, thanks for reminding me how to use 'it's' properly. |

POORLY written. Not to be a hater, but if you're going to knock on other people's grammar, maybe you should make sure yours is up to par. Also, is it "it's" or is it "its" |

without your gramatical errors, I still don't understand this post, seems like flamebait to me. It is very hard to expect major change in a few games; it is a process. It takes at least two years to install a zone defense, even for NFL players. As the coaches continue to stress technique and accountability, you will continue to see improvement. I've seen some already. There is, absolutely, a lot of work left for these players and coaches to become a big ten title contender, but the strides are being taken in the right place. When you're starting on the bottom, the only direction to go is up. Give it some more time, please. |

One thing always made me wonder...when we look at, for example, the B1G career rushing record or B1G single game rushing record, I have always felt we should only be looking at B1G conference games. Just my thoughts, and I know it will never change. The first thing to pop into my mind was Larry Johnson's 400 yard games against crummy teams inflating his stat to 2000 yards in a season. I know this would hurt Denard's records as well, I just feel that when we talk about B1G records, those records should come from B1G games only. I guess that is a little OT, and I certainly would never fault the OP for this. You sir, have done an excellent job killing about one hour of my day. For that, I applaud you. |

and I felt like I got a new pair of shoes almost every week. 49 pairs seems like alot for a dude to have, but literally they would give us a new pair of cleats/tennis shoes/basketball shoes/ pretty much whatever we asked for. |
