Maybe redshirt, and in his RFrsh year, He Should be approximately 225 or so. Give him a few more years, and he could hit 235-240. He's easily got the frame for it. Remember, Jonas Mouton was a safety prospect, and he turned out to be a big linebacker.
I actually quickly met MIke Martin this past Friday at Dayglow at Kalamazoo. Cool guy. Later I saw him and Steve Watson both shirtless messing around and dancing and talking to girls. Pretty crazy seeing a 300lb man/bear dancing at a Dubstep/Techno Paint Party.

I don't forsee it being that difficult for Armani Reeves to see the field early. JT, Countess, and Avery are only ahead of him. All that needs to happen is somebody to tweak something, or rotating in occasionally, playing nickel, or special teams. Could rotate in, or be next years Delonte Hollowell on special teams. Armani is obviously immensely talented.
Wow, that would be some big change. He would have Josh Freeman, a mobile quarterback that can make most throws. A few scheme changes, and bringing something most people haven't seen to the NFL could work.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MSU have one of the worst rushing attacks in the B1G this year? Maybe just statistically speaking, though. I think MSU's offense next year will average at best.
They lose Cunningham (Very good WR), Linthicum, few other WR's, and Cousins. Not a great recipe for success. Maybe DeAnthony Arnett will get his hardship and be able to play? That may cause a couple problems.
I think Molk played as well as you could with a bum ankle/foot. I really think VaTech exploited his lack of lateral quickness (because of the injury) and went inside blitz crazy and they were very successful with it in getting to Denard and stopping the run.
Obviously Mattison could have won it, and certainly deserving of it. However, to say that Chavis is not is ridiculous. Some of you on this board are discrediting him for having the best defense in the country. It's not his fault he has insane talent, he helped recruit them! He deserves credit for bringing that talent in! It's not just talent that wins games, it's coaching to get the most out of the talent. His schemes and packages, gameplanning and adjustments are also top notch.
All in all, both are deserving and I'd have loved to see Mattison win, but you should not discredit a coach just because he was able to bring in talent.
I really do agree with most of the big ten players being all americans. I really love the way Montee Ball runs. They do a wonderful job coaching up the runningbacks and lineman over at Wisky. They consistently have smart, hard running, backs with excellent lines.
Gotta give credit where credit is due. Also, Lavonte David is a man beast, along with Mercilus.
