In the box score is I believe Joe Reynolds, who if I'm not mistaken was a former track athlete that switched to football. Redshirt junior? My buddy went to high school with him and pointed it out during the game, and I didn't see him on the box score.
Smith gets called up this year. With Rafalski retiring and with a few other D-men under performing (I personally hate Salei), he could be the biggest part of our future. We really needed a little more work from them this year!
If Tressel had actually suspended people for doing improper things that he had known about, the product on the field would have been reduced and therefore the team would have been worse. This is regardless of who was recruited. Since players like Clarett and Smith should have been suspended, they would not have been on the field and then you would've had backups in. Like Bowser, man.
and it's nice to hear from an attorney's point of view. The underlying question, though, is still whether or not the NCAA will treat tsio as they've treated the non-giants of the college game. This may be how they're normally treated, but for Tressel.......

I would say no, because I don't personally think that college hockey cares about conference strength. It hardly shows up in the Pairwise. Also, Miami sux.
Does anyone else think that the way people are coming out of the woodworks to talk about them (ignoring the fact that the documentary, you know, just premiered) is a testament to their legacy?
Just think - they created the persona of the villain, of the team no one wanted to play or to hear about, and were popular even though they were never champions. And here we are, about 18 years later, and there are still people that villify them and criticize everything they do or say. I mean, best villains, or BEST villains?
In a smart phone programming class here, and he mentioned to me that his term project would be coding for a droid based MGoBlog app. I don't know how serious or how far along he's going to get, though.
We look absolutely unstoppable. Deadly from three, and unyielding on defense. If we could take these three, four minute bursts and just extend them, we'd be challenging for the B1G title.
You very, very, very rarely hear of someone getting a 6th year. You saying that it's a stricter process is a complete understatement. You essentially have to completely tear something in that fifth year, and if it doesn't happen really early you may still not get that 6th year (even where if you were applying for a 5th year, they would be much less strict).
hear the announcers say during the game that the Saints pay him more to stay on the practice squad than other teams pay to give him a roster spot? That was the most insane part of the whole game for me.

Do you remember when ESPN had that show to find the next Sportscenter anchor like, 5ish years ago? He was totally on it. I don't think he won, but the BTN, in keeping with their theory of having shit announcers/commentators, said "hey, this guy made my child laugh. let's sign him"
