What I had to do the last time that there was bad weather and I was trying to watch a game was to stream the game from my iPad through my Apple tv. Directv offers "live tv" on their app so I was able to play the game on the iPad and then stream it through the Apple tv to my tv. Worked great until the weather got better and I could then watch it through the Directv. Also there is an NBC app that I have on my phone which has been showing all of the games so if for some reason the Directv app didn't have the game streaming I could use the NBC app instead. A couple options in case of bad weather is nice. |

For the Chicago area they are talking about baseball size hail, flash flooding and even tornados. Hopefully it won't be as bad as what they're saying but they are expecting it to hit here at some point this afternoon and then into the evening. I know I definitely won't be out then. What will make it bad once I am home is that I have Directv and the Hawks are playing tonight. More than likely I won't be getting any kind of signal if its bad during the game because of the rain and wind. |

I have the ESPN Insider. You are right. It is a great deal and is very cheap for what you end up getting. I didn't use it as much until they came up with Wolverine Nation. Now I use the Insider quite a bit which is well worth it. In this case here I think what everyone was saying is that they were expecting some tidbit of information besides just a link. |

He's has quite a bit of interest in Illinois and has visited there a few times already so this may not even affect him. He could very well end up in the Big Ten. 40 schools though seems quite crazy. I can understand teams in the Big 12 as well as future opponents from other conferences but otherwise from there it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. |

Would love it if we could even get a few of those guys. It feels like recruiting has gotten more and more exciting each year with our staff. Now I can't wait to see these recruiting classes that Hoke has put together have lots of success on the field. |

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago, went through treatment and thought it was gone and it just returned last month. Back to treatments again with the hope of success. It's very difficult to see a loved one go through all of that. |

not too excited about this move. After Michigan, NIU is my second favorite school since I have family who has attended both Michigan and NIU and plus NIU helped me in passing the CPA. Because of this I won't be too upset if he doesn't make an impact at Toledo. |

It's interesting hearing you say that the Bears are a dirtier team than the Lions. A team that currently has Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley and previously had Cliff Avril. I agree the Bears aren't a clean team by any means and they do talk trash especially in NFC North games however I don't recall Brian Urlacher being fined and penalized the way Suh and Fairley have been over the last few years. It's interesting to hear you call him a villain when Detroit has Suh and Fairley and had Avril. Sorry but I think those guys are dirtier than Urlacher. |

I am going to miss Urlacher I wish he was still playing but I am glad that he did not end up with another team such as Minnesota or someone else in the NFC North. He was a lot of fun to watch through the years and he will be missed. Unfortunately he's been very injury prone over the last few years and definitely was struggling a bit on the field because of the injuries and because of his age. |

Is that just because our recruits are ranked higher on ESPN or is it because of other reasons? I tend to like Rivals a bit more than ESPN and as Magnus mentions below there are some head scratchers in ESPN's rankings. Was just wondering what your thoughts were on why you like ESPN more |

I don't have anything against the Detroit teams since quite a bit of my family are huge fans, I just became a Chicago fan since I grew up here. As long as they're not playing each other I have nothing against the Detroit teams. I know that's very unlike a lot of my friends here |

Like I said I love Michigan because of all of my family members who have attended the university but when it comes to professional sports I am all Chicago. I'm pretty sure, actually 100% sure that there are plenty of people who love Michigan but cheer for professional teams other than Detroit |
