you are Michigan, 2012. In that case, you start two quarterbacks or one running back and a wide receiver, depending on how you look at it.

Reserved for very hostile and aggresive apathy!

got Manhattan Union (Man U) in that showdown.

think that the announcers matter for me in non-Michigan games. It is a tough sell for me to watch an entire sporting event that I have no rooting interest in due to a number of factors, and sometimes announcers that can almost heighten the stakes simply by way of their call will get me more invested than I otherwise would be. I can barely stomach the NFL, but I often watched segments of Monday Night Football specifically because Tirico was on the call.
The only problem is that there are really no announcers like that remaining on ABC. When Michigan is not playing in the 3:30 timeslot this year, there is a good chance that I am going to be watching SEC games because of Nessler.

think he had elite speed. I think he had the size to be an outside receiver but not the wheels to go with it nor elite quickness to be a slot/scat type guy either. He was one hell of a college receiver though.

are also Marquise Walker days until we get this show on the road.

Indiana is fine to me. It goes us to 5-0 and was really our only glimmer of hope in the RR era. Yeah, we weren't good but it was fun for just a minute.
|18 hours 18 min ago||Yeah,||
not a good idea. To do so would bring in gems such as 2008 Northwestern and 2014 Rutgers.

about college football players just figure out that taking any videos of their sexual conquests is a bad idea and will end very badly.

in an affluent upper-middle class area is a pretty comfortable job. Teaching where teachers are most needed and most often ignored is a very difficult, thankless, and underpaid job. My wife teaches in an inner city secondary school and is often one of very few parental-type figures that her students will ever have in their life. She buys her own classroom supplies, stays after class nearly every day with students who are literally struggling to learn how to read and goes to athletic events for students at places where they are not safe, let alone her, just to support them because really nobody else does. I guess nobody told her about that salary grid because she makes shit, and probably won't see any pay increases as long as she works there.

DUI 3rd is a felony. Most have already been stripped of that right, at least until they are released from confinement.

kind of got the feeling that Lloyd actually did not know who was starting that year until he sent the offense on the field for the first time. Even then it looked to me like Henne ran on because nobody had told him not to.

is the thing. Words like "freedom" and "liberty" are taken for granted in and of themselves. It is a shortcut for politicians to gather support for its foreign policy actions. The words themselves need closer examination as do the actions and decisions that are made in their name. Troops are brave and go through hell, nobody questions that. I think it is fair game to discuss the merits of the policies that they are used to advance.
|4 days 32 min ago||I think||
the point some people have raised is that even people who do not support the policy are being co-opted into doing so by the constant outcry for support and appreciation for troops. There are people who do not believe in what the troops are doing. I don't think those people should be afforded special "rights" but neither do I believe they should be shoe-horned to a certain degree into supporting things that they don't when the two causes are difficult to distinguish.

comports with increased nationalism and the increased militarization of our country. It is no accident and is commingled with sports, particularly football, for very specific reasons.

understand what you are getting at Dudeness but could this not have been just a little pat on the back from MGoBlog to US troops away from home? There are other blogs for that kind of discussion.
|4 days 48 min ago||I think||
there is starting to be some domestic backlash at how our military is used and legitimate questions being raised as to the result of such policies on our domestic and foreign interests. I don't know anybody, however, who is questioning the individual sacrifice and bravery necessary to do the job of our military troops.

Or maybe prayer is the answer.

remain nearly 20,000 US Troops in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq combined. No, it is not 2004 but that deal is not a wrap by any stretch of the imagination.

Thin Air and Where Men Win glory by Jon Krakeur. Both very good. He is one of the best living American authors IMO. Granted, he is no Cormac McCarthy but when you look at these two along with Into the Wild and Under the Banner of Heaven, he has an impressive body of work.
Second reading of the Coughlin trilogy by Dennis Lehane. It is a shame more people don't know about those books. Ben Affleck is adapting the second of the three called Live By Night. I imagine this will drive some to read all of them.
Rogue Lawyer by Jon Grisham. Same old stuff but still entertaining.
Columbine by Dave Cullen. Fascinating and Terrifying. A must read for true crime readers.

film was mis-cast and I don't really think Scorcese understood the book. It was a really good book, actually.(As are all Dennis Lehane books). However, the book was a pretty deep psycological thriller. Scorcese directed it as more of a horror movie than it was meant to be. I think the movie was a swing and a miss.

believe pretty firmly that last season was the best season of the show if judging collectively. There have been better episodes and better series of episodes but I don't think there has been a better season.

old baby to a bar solo to watch the second half of the Horror because of stupid BTN/Comcast. That worked out really well for everybody.
