Watching Nix against Washington, he hardly threw a ball beyond 5 yards. Not to be down on him, but he should never be considered a first round qb. His stats remind me of Colt McCoy, where everything looks good on paper, but can’t make an NFL throw.
I hold out on hope that Warde spoke with Jim before either made a statement. This would give Jim an opportunity to address it himself (the person more knowledgeable on the situation). I just wish Warde would have included in his statement that he supports Harbaugh, and that Jim will issue a direct statement. This would have saved us a lot of past, current, and future anger toward Warde on this current issue.
I feel the coaches only bring someone in at a position like center if they feel the current guy isn’t where he needs to be for the the team to compete at the highest level. Then again, this isn’t a guy on the level as Olu, so they could be bringing in depth.
Top 4 is locked if they all win. We proved agains OSU that we can still win a big game without our best player. We just have to adapt and play the type of game we are capable of.
