For some reason I just feel we've got them covered this year and they are set up for a fall. Yes it's extreme optimism but its how I feel. Is this scientific at all? Absolutely not. Will I be happy with a gut it out, close win? Of course I will be ecstatic.
A lot of people on here have been down on Devin since he came in against MSU and failed to win the game. That was a tough situation against a good defense. Devin has not lost the skills that made him a top recruit in the first place and the last three games prove that. I think he will play with great poise and confidence. Our offense will move the ball well in the shoe. Michigan wins handily.
I know there is a lot of pressure on these kids to commit early but, once you have made a commitment you must stick by that commitment unless there is major change. As in many areas of our society, the word commitment doesn't mean much anymore.
I have relatives in Iowa (I don't even know why) and they have been insufferable the last three years. That having been said, The game is the most important of every year. IF I had to choose, I would choose a win over Ohio before any other team in any year.
Or did he do something to really piss off the o-line. I just can't see why Denard found gaping holes and Fit couldn't hit any. Then Rawls comes in and finds holes like Denard had
Wow sometimes the questions posed in these interviews are so irrelevant and stupid. Seriously what would Sabans dead dad think of him winning the 3 rd NC????
He said on his interview that it was his false step approach so maybe it's part of his timing and he doesn't start that first move until the snap in which case it's a totally legal play just looks weird.
If someone has more time and Internet savvy than I do...could you please e-mail a copy of this thread to all UT offerees and commits PARENTS. I would never let my kid commit to UT after this.
I know I read this late but I just had to tell you that the miscreant U reference to a capital one commercial made me laugh so hard that I swallowed my gum. Very funny!

Ok I'll admit ti, when we first hired Brady Hoke, I said who??? Oh no we just finished with an "experiment" gone totally wrong, this is a horrible decision. Then Brady came in and immediately started things off with thw whole "This is Michigan" thing and installed countdown clocks for Ohio and Sparty. At that point I, and I think all of the great Michigan fans out there, said "o.k. Brady Hoke is our head coach, we will support him 100%". I haved been nothing but happy with this hire since and after yesterday's game I would have to say thrilled with Brady Hoke as our head coach. When Fitz' T.D. was vacated and the 2 penalties were called on the insuing play, I would have absolutely lost it on the sideline. Brady did not, he basically remained calm as ever and trusted the team to win it. (At this point I have to give a Hail! to Brendon Gibbons for his career long at crunch time in THE game when he has had so much adversity previously) The kids sense Brady's calmness and knows he trusts them and they also realize that their head coach believes that this game is all about them, not the head coach. Lesser coaches have had goat obliterating meltdowns after losses because they believed that the team and the games that were played were all about them and their reputation. I LOVE Brady's answer about what it might be like competing against Meyer. Hokemania reigns in Michigan and may it reign for many years to come.
Honor and decency will have absolutely nothing to do with their decision whatever it is. They will do whatever they think they can get away with and not look too bad in the eyes of the public or the NCAA. If they actually think they can weasel out of some NCAA sanctions by pulling a stunt like this then, they will do it cause they stand to gain very little from a pizza bowl bid. I think even they are not stupid enough to believe it will make any diff. with NCAA so they will go for the extra practice time and a little $ from the pizza bowl

That probably happens if we win our bowl game regardless od what miscreant U does in theirs. Next year they will be totally irrelevant
That's scary but if you could do it to that loser I think the world would appreciate it.
I see others are thinking the same thing. I would not want to be in EL tonight (or ever really for that matter)
Is East Lansing on fire yet???? Probably some cars and couches at least?
