14 weeks 4 days ago	I so sick of this site	I so sick of this site censoring every little thing worth talking about. Isn't there a way to delete the nasty posts, and let the interesting ones go. If you must lock a topic, why cant you at least leave a majority of the posts while not allowing any more replies so people can follow some of the debate.  We cant be critical of the coaching staff, can't ever be critical of any recruit no matter how selfish they act or what they say, or if they take pics of stacks of cash or pose with bongs. You might as well just write what we should all think and forget the board, because its getting beyond ridiculous.

Our basketball program doesnt suck, football program has grown a lot in the past decade, our women's sports are good, and iowa state has great vet, engineering, business, computer, and ag programs. Not a lot of eyeballs agreed, but there's still a lot ISU could offer the big ten. Our fan base bought all or just about all the allotted tickets to a bad bowl game against an opponent they already beat.

I'd be more interested in playing in boise against a different conference than being a part of another big ten embarrassment with all eyes on the s.e.c vs big ten scoreboard, especially this year.

29 weeks 5 days ago	I went to both games the last	I went to both games the last two years. Many more neb. fans in ann arbor than michigan fans in lincoln. I had the unfortunate pleasue of sitting next to a neb. fan who was also a spartan grad. He wasn't too horrible but you knew from sitting next to him that something just wasnt right. I think the tailgating is about the worst along with iowa city. Fans overall were nice. I did find it funny though I ran into the same husker fan outside the stadium twice who kept swearing and telling me to take off my michigan jersey. I asked a lot of neb fans last year ( including my father) how they were treated in Ann Arbor, and all of them said michigan fans treated them fine and they liked being in ann arbor. good all around fan experience i think for both fan bases.

Hell, my three year old son tore off his michigan jersey, slammed it on the floor, and told me he's transferring to usc cuz Lane doesn't make his kids drink milk every day.

God that one cracks me up every time.

51 weeks 2 hours ago	Just got done painting my	Just got done painting my basement maize and blue, complete with block M. Really ups the resale of your home (especially in iowa). Second thing was having the big boot at the Heidelburg after a long day of drinking while yelling "das boot " every five minutes (it was first game so I was kinda pumped).  I did finish the boot, but it required my friend to drive the 9 and a half hours back to iowa.

If its all about safety then you could get rid of or change an infinite amount of things.  If you can make the game safe and not change it then great.
1 year 3 weeks ago	I never said anything about	I never said anything about football not having rules, I disagree with people outside the sport fundamentally trying to change the game (by increasing the touchbacks for example in order to get rid of the play). I would have no problem if it were left only up to the players to decide how the game should be played... I suppose there isn't a point trying to argue logic with someone who supports castro.
