Very proud of the team. Nice to get a big win. Played hard. I hope Tim keeps his head up, he looked very upset especially toward the end of the game. The guys showed a lot of heart after a disappointing couple of weeks. Go Blue!

I so sick of this site censoring every little thing worth talking about. Isn't there a way to delete the nasty posts, and let the interesting ones go. If you must lock a topic, why cant you at least leave a majority of the posts while not allowing any more replies so people can follow some of the debate.  We cant be critical of the coaching staff, can't ever be critical of any recruit no matter how selfish they act or what they say, or if they take pics of stacks of cash or pose with bongs. You might as well just write what we should all think and forget the board, because its getting beyond ridiculous. 

how would you guys compare our homecourt advantage vs other arenas?

As an ISU grad i can say that's not all true. Our basketball program doesnt suck, football program has grown a lot in the past decade, our women's sports are good, and iowa state has great vet, engineering, business, computer, and ag programs. Not a lot of eyeballs agreed, but there's still a lot ISU could offer the big ten. Our fan base bought all or just about all the allotted tickets to a bad bowl game against an opponent they already beat.

The ball boy is 17. He knows better. He's stalling the game. I just wish he was actually kicked that hard to cause him to roll around like that. 

I dont get this at all. Can we at least get him a few more looks on offense before we banish him to the CB depth chart? Enough with the mgokissup line of..."well I trust the coaches." They're human, they make mistakes, and not above criticism...see Al Borges. 

I dont get how whining and being critical about the coaches gets you banned, but calling people asshats is somehow okay? If someone is offbase on their opinion, the board will let them know.

There isn't a room left in lincoln under 260$ before taxes. I was in ann arbor for last years game and plan on enjoying this game just as much. Anyone from Michigan making the journey to lincoln?

I'll go ahead and be the jerk to bring some perspective...Isn't this whole thing extremely lame? Pretending to be someone you're not on the internet? Hurry! There has to be a medal, trophy, or some certificate we can give for such trickery.  If we continue to let this go on in the future, people may start lying about the size of their dick, or worse, making up fake Hello posts. God that one cracks me up every time.

Just got done painting my basement maize and blue, complete with block M. Really ups the resale of your home (especially in iowa). Second thing was having the big boot at the Heidelburg after a long day of drinking while yelling "das boot " every five minutes (it was first game so I was kinda pumped).  I did finish the boot, but it required my friend to drive the 9 and a half hours back to iowa.

I never said anything about football not having rules, I disagree with people outside the sport fundamentally trying to change the game (by increasing the touchbacks for example in order to get rid of the play). I would have no problem if it were left only up to the players to decide how the game should be played... I suppose there isn't a point trying to argue logic with someone who supports castro.

I played full contract football from 4th grade through highschool. I was never taught to lead with my head or hurt anyone. I never had a concussion, and never gave one either. Maybe the game needs to be taught differently, but that's it. As long as parents and players understand the risks, then they should be allowed to play without all this talk of radical changes and lawsuits. This is supposed to be a free country, if I understand the risks then I should be allowed to play. People ought to care more about personal freedom than trying to regulate every aspect of one's life becuase "it's for your own good." Otherwise we might as well strap ourselves to our bed, never leave the house, and have some expert government offiical there to look after us and wipe our asses for us. You can go on and on till forever coming up with new ideas on what you think is best for everybody, it will never stop.

I dont think it's worth worrying about what somebody says over the internet. You don't know who's saying what. You can't be sure whether they're michigan fans or whoever, and the recruits shouldn't take what people say to them seriously either.

I have a hard time believing that Bo would consider someone a michigan man if they were gone after only a year.

I remember the 89' championship game. It must have been past my bedtime, because I remember hiding behind the couch in order to watch overtime. I can still remember the last shot when Seton Hall threw up a fairly long shot at the buzzer but only hit the backboard.

judge someone's behavior when you look through your perspective a hundered years later. During Yost's time it was socially exceptable to think in those terms and he was probably raised that way as well (without knowing his parents). Im sure a hundred years from now, there will be people who will view our behavior as backwards. Just wondering, does anybody in ann arbor protest to get the names of the buildings changed, given the history of Yost or others?

because they cant win with class and dont know their place in college sports. Iowa football is the only thing in the whole state which makes them believe in things like Stanzi winning the Heisman and winning a national title. I was in Iowa City for this years' michigan game. Nothing but drunks wanting to start fights after the game. I could go on forever about things like that.
