I sat in the north end zone vs state, basically an all-22 view. My observations were 1) JJ was looking downfield and had time but WR's didn't create separation so he checked down. 2) too many rollout plays that eliminate the field side and make it easier for the defense to shrink windows and plays away from his arm strength

Skills and effort will always earn you a job. Attitude is critical. That doesn't mean you should be taken advantage of by a company. Know your worth and leverage to the max. This is the opposite job market of 10-12 years ago. Upgrade pay and/or get perks that were previously unavailable. If you are smart and work hard, you are more valuable than ever and should receive that compensation.
People who want $18/hr instead of $12/hr to do the bare minimum will get a few extra bucks in the short term, but inflation is eating those gains.
This is the best job market in all of our lives. Maximize it to the fullest and never give up your gains
The best part of WFH is naps and the occasional happy time. You can work the same amount of hours in the office and not get that. The bad part of WFH is the isolation and lack of socialization. Hybrid is the best. Nap and jerk on Mondays and Fridays. Lunch with pals Tues-Thur
Quiet quitting is such a ridiculous term. Its a combination of setting boundaries and/or disengagement. Don't want to work OT because you don't like your job so you go home? Health care pros can name their price and play the market. Regular business employees can dictate WFH with limited experience and skills as long as they can do the bare minimum. The only thing that will drive opposite change and a return to office work is a real recession where true unemployment rises akin to 08-10. Right now workers have the leverage and should use it to the max. Loyalty to a company is a joke because they will let you go or leverage you in a down market. Ace is overly emotional and let's that cloud his judgment regularly. I wish him the best in his own personal health, but he cannot ever provide an unobjective point of view. Protocols were followed and the game was played. We won. Lets celebrate. Had a spirited discussion about how the ccha was better than b1g hockey with some BG hockey slappies and watched the basketball team wreck Purdue and M hockey dispose of the Irish. Of course he can recruit, thinking otherwise will be What a Fool Believes. He will be Takin it to the Streets to get the best players. Maybe, I'm On My Own with this opinion; but, I Keep Forgettin' what it was like to have a great defense. Perhaps everyone needs to take a minute to Listen to the Music or maybe Find it in Your Heart to give him a chance. Our performance this season was a disappointment, but there Ain't No Mountain High Enough to keep him from restoring our defense to it's former glory. I Gotta Try to stay positive here, because the negativity around these parts can make anyone want to take a dive into some nasty Black Water.
I agree. Just simply relaying information from someone who got it direct from the man himself. I think if that was the case, there would be issues within the coaching staff and the entire program which have very clearly not manifested.
Now before being flamed out of here, I am close friends with a close relative of Hudson. He claimed some form of racism within the program. Now, I find this difficult to believe based on a litany of factors; but perhaps he, and some other players, feel this way and that is what they are talking about. I dont think this accounts for the lack of production for players who have transferred or the lack of big time offers for Hudson (Syracuse, Cincinnati).
He apparently didn't like campus life and didn't feel he fit in. He wanted to leave last year but his mom made him stick it out. He was very unhappy overall. Good kid and hope he is happy at Cincinnati.

Fellow SMCC grad here and I don't recall any player from the school getting a D1 scholarship since Nick Rafko went to Wisconsin in the early 90's. They had Neal Howey go the juco route then to EMU a few years back but that's about it. Maybe a walk on at Toledo or two over the years. They run the T offense and play subpar competition in the Huron League. It's a nice little program that has had lot's of success in Division 6; but rarely do they, or any other school in the league, have any legit talent capable of contributing at Michigan.
I've seen these guys 4 times and they are awesome. HOWEVER, they are about the most vulgar band out there. Look up the names of some of their songs to get an idea and a chuckle. Not trying to tell this kid's dad how to parent, but kids should not be allowed at a SP show. Just saw them in Royal Oak a few weeks ago and there were at least 10 different women brought on stage topless. It was great but just not the place for an 11 year old. That being said, this kid can shred.

This +1000000. Hoke just seems happy to be here living out a lifelong dream. At no point during yesterday's debacle did he exhibit any fire or show with his body language any sense of urgency. Sure the guy is lovable which goes a long way in recruiting and winning over players and parents, but Wayne Fontes was a likeable guy as coach of the Lions as well. We like to bash coaches like Saban, Meyer, and Miles on this board for various reasons (many legit) but those guys win and they would never be chuckling on the sidelines during an absolute beatdown from their second biggest rival.
Has anyone seen any recruit reactions to tonight's game? I've been on twitter and a few of the recruiting sites and seen nothing yet. Is it too much to ask for a Hello post to add to the good time feelings tonight?
It's amazing how far Gallon has come in 4 years. His freshman year he was a fumble machine and now he has cemented his status as a Michigan legend. Same goes for Gibbons who went from Shankasaurus Rex to setting the M record for consecutive FG's made. I cannot think of any other players who went from such liabilities to incredible players over the span of their respective careers. Stevie Brown improved from year 1 to year 4 but not to this level.

His brother is no longer on the Ole Miss staff. He was at almost every Michigan game this season.
