But in all of JB's years here he has very rarely played 2 bigs at once. It has almost always hapened for short stretches in the first half or in the case of bad foul trouble. I really wouldn't be surprised to see MM and Jo Mo battle out for the 5 spot. JB's offense has traditionally been built around spacing the floor, and a 3 out 2 in with Jo Mo and MM would significantly reduce that spacing.
I suspect that we will steal one of those games against tOSU. At home, Crisler will be bouncing and I think we'll pull it out. Smotz can't shoot like this forever.
Weird day for Novak. Missed a block out on a FT and a defensive rotation on a pick and roll, both within the last minute. He shot the ball well, but the little things that you can normally count on him to do were just not there (ie coughing the ball up 4 times).
That was a 2-3 zone from the begining. If it was man, Stu would have been matched up with Draymond, which makes no sense. They were just matched up within the zone, as any good zone D would do.
