But GD this is my favorite team of all time. The discipline, the heart-the way X, Robinson, Matthews improved this year, the swagger of Poole, watching MAAR become a steady assassin. I really want JB to get a title while he’s here because he’s earned it, and I think there’s a real chance next year could be that year. I can’t thank this team enough for their heart, their will, their discipline.
Michelangelo used a piece that had been rejected by many other artists because it was thought to be too narrow. One of the things that makes the David so impressive was carrying such strength in such a narrow piece. So TLDR Dantonio is the true Michelangelo. This clas will be solid depth sandwiched between elite ones
Bc when Harbaugh has left prior jobs it was running away from failure, and was not in any way being one of the most sought after coaches in the nation. SF has proved to be a tire fire. Too conservative is a legitimate complaint, but his mental toughness or dedication?
So the narrative of 1-6 or whatever against top ten teams is ridiculous. Lost two games against top ten teams by a total of four points last year, outplayed UW for a good chunk of the game today with the youngest team in America. I have faith in the future, and will root like hell for these young kids and it will be that much sweeter when they turn the corner
Continued to drive him long after the play was over.
That was not a football play. That makes our top two QBs out on dirty hits, but yeah let's keep arbitrarily demanding excellence
was blatantly the target of offensive pass interference with the other receiver so he just tugged at the guy he's covering? If the announcers and refs are going to just ignore offensive PI I've got no problem with the defense getting more aggressive
Evans is an electric playmaker in space but doesn't seem to do well in the smaller holes our line is opening up. Jet sweeps, screens, out routes-we can't gameplay a way to get the ball in his hands one on one
Five yards downfield?
When your quarterback can't hit the fly route constraint off the WR screen.
No need for the DBs to fear anything over the top so they just crash down hard on those screens.
If you do run them, for the love of Flying Spaghetti Monster have Crawford block and not be the target.
And Morgan and Stauskas and GRIII, all of whom I doubt we ever see in the maize and blue again (morgan obviously). This team showed immense heart, and I'm so proud of the way Levert fought back in the second half to play awesome defense and contribute offensively. They just played the most talented team in the country, and it's not even close. So proud of these guys. Nothing to hang your head about.
Just to cheer the Muppets! Gonna be a long day at work tomorrow here in cbus but I can't wait to hear the whining from everybody at work (which is Ohio state) Whooooo
I'm not sure if a wide open passing attack would be effective, but i'm fairly certain running Rawls at Williams will not. 3-4 WR sets will help space out their LBs and allow more running lanes for DRob on scrambles (hoping praying screaming this year he actually scrambles). If bama insists on still stuffing 8 in the box, I would anticipate denard being able to connect on at least 1-2 balls over the top to Gallon
He is overrated as a defensive player, but an elite return guy (especially one as dynamic as him) goes no later than the second round. Hester was a second round pick (and mediocre CB) and he's a future HOFer.
Denard got hurt every game except
ND and Tate wasn't prepared to play bc, u know, books are hard and stuff. Rr was in a make or break year, had to do whatever it took to win now (GERG clownery aside)
But I don't want anyone other than kovacs and Gordon at safety, even of injuries happen wrt the CBs. I've finally got a sense of optimism for the first time for the safeties in too long
May include it, we'll have to see. Normally my notes on bat shit crazy patients are filled with as many direct quotes as possible, for the enjoyment of the next clinician to read. Normally we don't label it, we just let the quotes speak for themselves
Who smuggled an insulin pen in his butt so he could self-inject, purposefully cause hypoglycemia, and stay in the hospital longer to get pain meds. They seem like similar dimensions as a cigar. I believe in you.
Rondo should definitely be on this list. The fact Odom is still in consideration is a joke-I think AI is actually going to be an integral part of the team. I don't think there's a role for Blake Griffin on this team-we are used to getting highlights of great dunks (Vince Carter vs. France) during the olympics, but he's not a good enough shooter or perimeter defender for the international game. I agree w/ the starting five above, but I'd but Chandler in at center.
However it is tough the first few years. 15% of my income (which is pretty modest as a resident) is managable. However, my wife and I have to file taxes separately (losing out on all the tax breaks from student loan payments, mortgage payments, etc..) specifically to avoid haivng the income based repayment plan be based upon our cummulative salaries. There is no question medicine provides a solid financial future, but I have pretty much lived like a med student the first few years
Not to play homer, but if the reports about Burke improving his shot are accurate, he's a late lottery pick. I know he's small, and I don't know all the PGs in the non BCS conferences, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't the 1 or 2 PG prospect next year
...assuming of course Craft doesn't turn pro. /s
We know how much heart it takes to be a SG playing the 4. 46 percent from 3, senior leadership and won't be making 14 million next year to be a sharp shooter. Joe D had a good night-love the first and last picks
I agree it's very poor form to put such stock in a RB (a lesson all Bears fans learned over and over). However, here in Ohio the general belief is that the defense is headed in the right direction, but the offense is so stagnant that its unwatchable. Cleveland needs that excitement-especially with a very solid L side of the lineand a possession qb
BC our three biggest rivals in the big ten right now (ranked by my joy of defeating) all have head coaches I have little to no respect for. I know we all dislike great players or coaches on rival teams (as a Bears fan, I objectively know Aaron Rodgers is a great QB but I can't stand him), but we should at least be able to respect them. Dantonio, Bielema,, and Meyer are such blatant bottom feeders that losing to them honestly feels like a moral affront. Not that Michigan knows what it's like to lose to Meyer, but you know what I mean.
That pharyngitis and viral URTIs are handled by internal medicine docs (and FP and CNPs)? My preceptor at residents clinic went to Michigan for undergrad, OSU for residency ( a very common arrangement). Would you see someone who has attended both? Just curious
I agree that I expect some regression from Papa Grande and Peralta. However, I actually think Avila is going to continue to improve. He was just gassed last year at having to catch so many games. While getting Fielder was obviously huge, I'm thrilled to see Laird back in the D. His offense is terrible, but he's a great defensive catcher who will allow Avila to stay fresh throughout the season. I expect Young and Boesch to have massive years-I'm just concerned about that glaring hole at second base.
The loudest non-goal cheer of the night came when they announced his signing on the big board. Pretty cool- the only highlight on a night the wings totally mailed in
but it's past one o'clock and absolutely everybody will be half in the bag already. I know I was last year! Congrats to everybody-make sure not to pass out before the michigan game. PGY-1 at Ohio State fighting the good fight
You'll feel right at home. Easy parking, fans are chill. Not a hard ticket to get this year-unlike the upcoming NCAA tournie games down here
Ed:If you're looking for a place to grab a bite beforehand, I'd recommend Milestone 229-its from Columbus Brewing Company and it isn't as packed as CBC or Gordon Biersch. Good CBC brews on tap, awesome triple pulled pork sandwich

when Tebow smiles as I feel when RGIII smiles, then I totally get Tebow-mania (NTTAWWT)

I want the opposite of that
