Brian....thanks for the positive remarks....been playing hard this year...

2014 NFL Draft: Updated Big Board, Version 8.0

Has Michael rate the #57 player in the dradt...big surprise to some.....some sites have him as high as #51.....the bad play by the line has not stoped Michael and Taylor from impressing NFL Scouts.....

Pulling

When Michael (Schofield) played LG, it was not as easy as it looked pulling...in the beggining the coaches had to keep telling him to slow, he would get there before the play was fully developed, or he would run by the Defender he was to find to block,,,,as time went on he got much better, even last year the pulled him a lot for being a Tackle.....I beleive Brian did a segment on Michael pulling in 2011......

Guard or Tackle

First...as most know I am Michael father..............second I thought he had played a good game against Ohio while being injured......(Michael got hurt in the Nebraska Game)...if you watch the Ohio film he had a hard time pulling...(injuried right ankle)...anyway....this year is the first time he ever played Guard...nver played it in H.S. got better as the year progressed..Michael Taylor and Molk Gelled the last three games to create at solid left side...next year do you keep him at Guard or move him to tackle.....

Michael's injury...look at his right ankle

schofield's injury

The go to class

They go to class.....if do did not, that could be "special treatment" for an Athlete....unless the Instructor allowed everone in class off during Big Games...

OL

Michael has gotten time at every position (including TE (blocking)) and has surprised the coaches at his ability to play Guard, at this time he will be first in on the line (except for Center). last weekend he played LG in practice, getting good practice time at every position.

Two Deep

as far as Michael (Schofield) playing at guard..no one is more shocked then me....and even more...is how good he has done with it......he practiced at LG Friday. I have to hand it to coach Funk for moving guys through multiple positions.....

weight

I would be great if Lewan and Schofield's weight was as reported above, but it is safe to say they are both in the 300-305 range...

Big Will

It was only the first day in Pads, and the first real M Drill of Spring....the video did show the intensity of the O-against the D....there was almost a 50 pound difference between the O-lineman and the d-lineman....these drills are not only meant to develope and improve skills be to push the D and O lines against each other for bragging rights....each day will be more intense......
