Beef tenderloin, parmesan…

Beef tenderloin, parmesan crusted potatoes, honey sriracha carrots, asparagus and Sanders Bumpy Cake. And a smattering of bourbon throughout the day to keep it on time.

Campfire Manhattan. Tried…

Campfire Manhattan. Tried finding the comet but didn't have a clear enough NW sky.

Great list. Jackie Brown is …

Great list. Jackie Brown is #1 on mine, too.

I'll add:

Tombstone

One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (not on much anymore)

True Romance

Donnie Darko

Goodfellas

Here's to Juwan having as…

Here's to Juwan having as much success coaching as Rudy Tomjanovich did in the NBA.

Not a home run hire, but…

Not a home run hire, but still an upgrade. It's easy to knock him on the goal line call in the Super Bowl, but the reason they didn't score was a superb defensive play, not the call itself. Wilson executed the play, threw a dime, and Butler's reaction and jump on the ball were insane.

For all of Stafford's knocks, having Bevell should help bring some balance to the offense, but the defense has to improve, Kerryon needs to stay healthy, and they need another playmaker outside of Jones and Golliday. Once Jones and Johnson were out, and Tate dealt, they were listless.

Same here, since 5 or so. I…

Same here, since 5 or so. I've been counting down to this game more than I did Christmas as a kid with an Atari 2600 under the tree.

Cowherd has a lot to say. He…

Cowherd has a lot to say. He's a talking head, for sure, but he does have a lot of good analysis when it comes to football - both college and pro. He wouldn't be where he is if he didn't know how to play to the crowd, get people riled up and deliver hot takes along the way at every step.

Hope he's right, though. I don't like the inclement weather coming through today. Weird things always seem to happen in this game.

The team that runs the ball better almost always wins, so the OL will have to continue their solid play, but I still think it comes down to Shea Patterson making good decisions, not holding the ball too long while not committing turnovers.

Texas defense played wel

I was about to post something similar. The Texas D played well and took advantage of some big plays. I haven't seen enough of the Longhorns to compare them against other games, but DeShon Elliott had one heck of a game. He seemed to be everywhere. Turned one INT into a touchdown and was really close from doing the same on another pass he broke up.

I have to think that USC will get better as the year goes on. We certainly hope that's true for the Wolverines.

Hate the Cowboys, but they're

Hate the Cowboys, but they're crushing it with Taco, Awuzie and JD.

Screw Penn State and Baylor.

Screw Penn State and Baylor. And while I'm at it Jim Delaney too.

Eye opener

It's nice to hear that Harbaugh is hands on and maximizing the time alotted for real, physical work. The thought that Hoke had them spending all that time in meetings makes me want to puke in my mouth. Unbelievable. Things can only get better.

Great story

and Butch (freaking) Wade! Glad that he chose Michigan and look forward to him fulfilling his dreams in the maize and blue.

If it's 2015 and huge..

then why not Jashon Cornell?

Not sure

about that because Denard was drafted a RB, not as a WR.On the other hand, it could help Ace Sanders get some early PT in the slot. Mo Massaquoi and Jordan Shipley are most likely the ones that will see increased reps during those four games.

A great problem to have

with Levenberry, Daniels and McCray all interested in going blue. With McCray set to announce next week, and the rumors that if/when Ohio offers that he would go in that direction  (dad played there, etc), I wonder if bringing Gedeon in this weekend is a bit of  "strategery" by the staff.

I'd love to see Levenberry, Daniels and Gedeon/McCray in this class. Sounds like there's a chance Gedeon could speed up the process for all involved if McCray hasn't done that already. Buckle up.

Go Blue!

That was a...

Business Decision. That was a nice line and even Bardo wants to repurpose that for future use.

Jalen is what he is - rough around the edges, but it's what angers some people and endears him to others. I'm on the latter. I thought he did a fine job and that he and Bardo played off each other fairly well. I love the banter around the old UM and Illini teams. Those were two of the most talented teams ever for these two schools.

To be even more succinct, I'll take them every day of the week and six times on Sunday over Jay Bilas.

Peter Konz is 6' 5" 315

and he is regarded along with Molk as one of the top centers in this year's NFL Draft Class. I wouldn't read too much into a player's height particularly with Coach Funk running the o-line show.

Dawson it is.. who's next?

He's at #183 on the list and still with 4 *s.
