This guy was a big fat lazy bust at Michigan.  To bad.  He only decided to play his senior year because he was looking for a pro contract.  I feel sorry for the team that drafts him.

I wouldn't him coaching my NFL team.  He beats run of the mil Pac 10 teams now with raw speed.  He may catch some NFL teams off guard for a while but the NFL is good at figuring out new stuff.

Michigans offense was never better than it was under Cameron.   He may be out of touch now but so is Borgess.

Toussaint and Rawls are good running backs.  We saw that last year.  This offensive line without much doubt is the worst O-line in Michigan history.  We had a couple of 5th year guys that couldn't ever play until someone was injured their 5th year.  Doesn't say much about their ability.  

Just didn't function all year.. They all looked lost most of the time.  Even Lewan.  I'll give him a lot of credit for putting an end to all the dumb stuff he did.  The 4th down play where Denard got stuffed there were two lineman just standing there. The guys were big and they were athlectic.  i want to put some of the blame on the coaching.  They didn't get the line to jell, ever.  You know you are in trouble when you have to roll out a guy that's been there 5 years and couldn't make the lineup but then he is thrown into the starting lineup because of injuries.

You have to be impressed with the way Gardner has led the team.  I'd guess he has had very limited time in practice at QB all year.  Give Denard a snap or two next week closing out his career at Mich but Gardner is the QB.  Put Denard in positions that he can be a threat every time Michigan snaps the ball.  He is one amazing athlete.  Let's see what he does.  He isn't going to play QB at the next level.

Like someone said Toussaint seems maybe a little heavier and slower than last year.  He certainly doesn't hit the holes like Rawls does.  Rawls must have some issues or he would be playing some.  I know it seems Borges is pretty stuborn and not really creative but after awhile when a guy isn't getting the job done the head coach has to start asking questions.

Denard has played two full games without a TD this year and half of one last night.  I don't blame Denard for any of it.  You have to look no further than Borges.  He has the most exciting player in college football and he runs the most bland offensive scheme of anyone.

What else would you expect?  Look who he learned from.  Lloyd!  One of the most boring coaches ever.

Sidelines in Lambertville is probably as close as you are going to get for a sports bar in the Toledo area that is more Michigan than any other team.    I won't go overboard and say food is fantastic but its pretty good for bar food.

But when he plays against a rough tough defense like ND, Ala, MSU he freaks out.  I don't know how else to say it.  He just doesn't play well against good teams.  It would help if the line blocked a little better and gave him some more time.  To many mental lapses by the looks of it because they are capable of blocking.

I still say the university should chase down all tickets being sold in the black market for more than face value and prevent the owner from buying season tickets.  There are too many people in line that want tickets to attend games.

grassy areas always limited if rain the day before or rain in the forecast.  Golf course parking now $40.  Pioneer $50.  Lots of other places to park for 20 or less.  Don't plan on taking bottled water into the stadium either.  They make you throw it away but you can buy bottled coke inside for $5.  Their bottles are safer it guess.

I never liked the guy.  He is one that takes advantage of the system.  Everyone is afraid of him.  There are scholarship limits for Saban and then there are scholarship limits for everyone else.  It's unethecial to over recruit and then weed out the ones that can't help.  And it's suppose to  be against the NCAA rules.

Purple lot was like $280 last year for an auto.  Now you have to be someone that contributes thousand of dollars a year or you don't qualify for the purple lot even though it was about half empty last year.   I assume same goes for the blue lot.  I wouldn't park in any lot associated with Uof M any more.  I'll pay a private owner.

If the ball was in the air it was a penalty for knocking Roundtree out.  But we should be use to those no calls.

I'm not going to complain about the game plan.  Alabama was to big and to fast.  I think they were ready for Denard.  And there was no sense in getting him hurt in the first meaningless game.  We had a couple of penalties that put us in really bad field position in the 1st qtr.  One on the helmet was legit and the holding one sucked.  It should have been a face mask on Ala.  And if interference in the end zone on us was called what was the deal with Ala shoving our receiver out of bounds then intercepting the ball.   You know it was a bad call when they didn't replay and mushmouth and herbie didn't even comment.  They couldn't i guess becasue they were laughing to hard.

with Bo and Lloyd this was easy.  Off tackle!

They are a disgrace to the Big Ten..Kick them out.

don't be surprised to see Penn St players lining up at urbans front door either.

The Big Ten didn't want Penn St from the beginning but at the time the president of Illinois was a PSU grad and fought like crazy to get PSU in the B1G.  He finally found enough buddies to vote them in.  It's time to get rid of them.  They don't belong in the the Big Ten.  It's obvious all they cared about was winning football games at all costs.  Granted those guys are all gone but that's the way it is.

I could be wrong but I don't believe you need any points to get tickets.  There are seats in the endzone and corners where you don't have to have Victor Club points to renew,  You just wait out your time on the waiting list.  If you have made contributions and have some points you might get tickets quicker than someone that doesn't because seats in the preferred sections open up.

I received an email about renewing but don't recall reading anything about the university not mailing out the usual renewal package anymore.  Probably was buried in the message.   Maybe we'll get rid of some of those old people that set on their hands every week and sell their tickets in cold weather games to the visitors.

The NCAA isn't going to do anything.  They banned the suckeyes from a bowl.  But they wouldn't have gone to anything but a toliet bowl anyway.  They reduced the scholarships but that didn't stop Meyer from signing as many as the rest of the B1G.  He just eliminated some from guys that wouldn't have played.

How could there be a "gentlemans agreement" amoung coaches????

I'll watch for awhile but I saw some of the previous game.  It's boring football just like Lloyd use to play.  Thank God he is gone.

Read somewhere that Palka is from the Temperance area but that's not far from Whitmer.  I suspect he has been teaching/coaching long enough in Ohio to be elgible for the Ohio pension and now will qualify for another from Michigan.  So that with the big pay increase, why wouldn't he take the job.

Whitmer is caught up in a recruiting scandal like mentioned in other posts.  People can deny it all they want but Whitmer was getting students in from other districts that just happened to be all-state type athletes.  The Ohio Athletic Asso is not happy with Whitmer that they found a judge to set back their decisions.   I'm guessing Whitmer is going to lay low on the "recruiting" effort and Palka decided to get out or maybe was suggested he leave.  Now to be fair the Catholic schools all do the same thing and have been for years and it's legal.

Sorry I missed the replay.  I was there and still think it was the best football game I ever attended.  Nothing like winning the Rose Bowl and NC.

I'd like to see Koger get drafted.  Probably late rounder though.  It depends on who has been watching him.  Michigan hasn't featured him much his whole career.  The problem i see is teams are now looking for the nex Gronkowski, but he is one of a kind.

tOSU just didn't hire Smith as their AD because he was a brilliant man.  He has connections as he comes to tOSU as the Director of Compliance of the NCAA.

It certainly appears that Penn St has been in coverup mode for years and it includes the board and everyone with any authority at the university.  They do not meet the standards of the Big Ten or any other conference for that matter and should be expelled.

Urban Meyer is a media darling.  Is he a better coach that Hoke?  I doubt it.  He recruits players that would have trouble meeting B1G standards even at OSU.  He will surely attract some recruits that may not be considering OSU right now.  According to the records he has had at least 30 of his players arrested for various incidents.  From that part he will fit right in in colonumbus.

ha ha,, he would be a good fit.  He is no saint either.  Why would Meyer want to go to a school that puts more pressure on the coach than any other school and he couldn't stand the heat in Fla?  And besides tOSU will be operating with at least 5 fewer schoolies a year for at least 3 yrs and be on probation for 5 years with no post season for probably 2 years.

I just can't say enough about the development of our defense.  If only Hoke could have found a offensive coordinator with the skills and knowledge of Mattison.

Don't be afraid to look for rooms as far south as Toledo/maumee.  There are motels right on US23 1 hour from the stadium.  Hotels in Dundee too but maybe they will be occupied.

I have watched Johnson the last 3 years.  For the most part he seems unstoppable. He has good speed and power and is hard to tackle.  I guess he is a tailback but he seems to get most of his yardage when he lines up in the shotgun and takes direct snaps.   Not sure why there isn't more interest in him. 

Denard is not a drop back passer and may never be.  Why a play wasn't called in the last set of 4 on the goal line for him to be scrambling is stupid.  After the OC called the first one or maybe 2 for Denard to stand flatfooted and throw into the EZ, Hoke should have taken charge and told Denard to do what ever he needed to score a TD.

Urban Meyer bailed out of Fla because of the pressure.  Tosu is already a sucessful football program.  He has nothing to prove there.  He will be expected to win every game and if he doesn't the pressure will be intense, more so than Fla.

I think if I was the special teams coach I'd be worried about my job.
