definitely add more spices to the sauce. that is always the answer. tastes like ketchup.

Mike Patrick here...

it is actually "Mossman".

No need to thank me.

btw, Denard on the quarterback sneak might not have been a bad idea...but hindsight is 20/20 and all.

More adjustments

Other teams will also most likely learn from Indiana's defensive mistakes and adjust their defense to account for Tate's ability to fly.

haha yeah I guess. Also, I

haha yeah I guess. Also, I am prohibited from studying on the 2nd floor of the ugli because I am not in a frat and thus can't get pass the greek ID scanner at the door.

double moves

He has always been one of the best receivers I have seen with the double move. His out and up against Notre Dame in 06 was just filthy.

Chem building

On weekends, I just grab an empty classroom or an empty teachers lounge in the Chem Building and just post up. Big rooms, chalkboards, etc.

Seconded...

although that last part was a little weird...

Anyway...many thanks for your great work!!!

Jokes

A: Of course he did...he is a Clarett!

B: The OSU: Producing winners since 1870

come on man...not the same at all

The University's basketball arena being named after a historic and legendary football coach is in no way equivalent to a walk-on second strong safety being the son of a former MLB player and Tigers 1st base coach. I did not remember Andy van Slyke's playing days as I was too young and I am not from Detroit so I did not know he was the Tigers first base coach until this year. Please find it in your heart to forgive such ignorance.

and it was indubitably the

and it was indubitably the best play ever in NCAA 2006

you mean it can't be worse

you mean it can't be worse than mentioning Tom Zbikowski was a boxer for the entire '06 and '07 seasons.

latest news

his legs are still super super skinny in proportion to his upper body.

I think so

btw...I remember having this conversation some time ago and I thought the conclusion was this wasn't going to happen...

given the choice between 2 identical threads

I choose yours. Because it says OT and I like that. Solid pick up for them, can play some 1B and DH too.

Reading his Wiki page, he had a terrible childhood experience where his father was killed in a "workplace domestic dispute" in which a man had shot his mother as well...unreal experience for a 6 year old to go through.

Snead

#1 QB in the SEC according to Spurrier...

right.

i read it in the same light. Although I think Hurricane Katrina was probably hated by all fans.

He, like most forms of entertainment and media outlets, relies on shock factor to get views. He just shamelessly writes offensive shit so people will read his garbage...so I'm glad to see you resist the temptation.

He can be a moron.

He can be a moron, true. He put Howard at #12 because he saw the pose as an emblematic moment of the Michigan dominance during the John Cooper era, saying that he is a villain to the OSU fans. Also it makes him even more of a villain to these people because he was from Cleveland...so there's that.

Michigan Wolverines

Despite being one of the greatest college mascots of all time, it is one of the most recognizable in college football. "The Wolverines" is embedded in Michigan tradition and is synonymous with the allure and success of the Michigan athletic tradition.

Why am I even responding to this?

I don't understand the OP's

I don't understand the OP's comments on this. This seems like a piece about Charles Rogers moving forward from his past, not about dogging on him for some old shit. Am I a State fan? No. Was I fan of Charles Rogers are the choices he made? Absolutely not. But instead of making fun of the way he talks (Are you serious?) and his drug problem, I am actually trying to see the point of the piece, which is Charles Rogers is making the conscious choice to pull himself out of his drug habit and redeem himself for his past screw ups. Good for him.

family values

killing kids ≠ family values

Maize and Blue

lived on Walnut St. last year and did lunch there once a week. It is a little pricey ($8 and change for a sandwich), but the price/value combination is pretty good...the sandwiches are enormous and just the most delicious-fuckin thing you've ever had.

Deal.

I'll take the entire Lions team and you pick your favorite team. Which I'm going to guess is based on who has the hottest two deep at quarterback (which is obvi the Jets). In that case, i'm going to e-fuck you.

And nice dig at the Lions. Just wait for Stafford to keg-toss the Lions to the playoffs.

I would first like to defend

I would first like to defend my sexual potency by saying I have extremely decent stamina. Secondly, I did think he would be much better than he was, given he was the starting running back of a team that I figured would have a run-heavy scheme given their problems at QB. He will be a 1,000 yard rusher this season. No doubt. You want to start a league heads-up to settle this?

OT - Fantasy

He was a big time disappointment for me last year in my fantasy league. I had high hopes for him and took a mid-late round flier pick on him. He had some decent games, but I was pretty underwhelmed. Maybe my optimism was just a little misplaced or premature.

it's going to be a good night

looking forward to watching the practice and the 30T Braylon-fest. Plus, BTN HD is pretty high quality IMO.

same here

I got one at the 1998 Rose Bowl when I was a kid (luckily got it big enough to last and I still wear it to games) but it is beginning to wear a little bit. I just love the "M" design stitched into the shoulder pads and I don't think I will ever part with it.

Between us girls...Donovan is

omg sleeveless now.

omg I'm retarded.

Yeah my bad...I was still thinking about my post below where I posted the "Swanson" quote. I will neg myself for this blasphemy.

no but you could imagine what'd it be like...

Yeah I'm just in a weird Dumb & Dumber mood.

could be tough...

He is buried behind a lot of talent at his position and don't forget that Kevin has a leg up on him already.

Putting aside Kevin's legal and injury issues his career contribution to UM has been:

Attempts: 190
Yards: 703
TDs: 9

If Kelvin scores 9 TDs or touches the ball 190 times in his career here I would be surprised. And don't forget that Grady filled in admirably for an injured Mike Hart in 2005 when he was a true freshman. But I do wish Kelvin the best of luck.

I know that girl

me and her GOT IT ON. WHOO EEE.

No it was...

swinson, swanson, slippy, slappy...

oh yeah, samsonite! I was way off!

Given Woolfolk's track succes at UM

it doesn't surprise me. I would also like Carlos Brown to be thrown into that race...

Receiver

I think it is easiest transition to make high school to college to pro. (Other than RB I guess).

We have had recent success with Stevie B (albeit a red-shirt) and Manningham and Odoms

Michael Wilbon

went to Northwestern...which for some reason has embedded in him an undying hatred for Michigan. I'm sure he has 'Muck Fichigan' tattooed on his ass.

I'm sorry...

Begging to be absolved from complete e-embarrassment, which name should ring a bell? I could not recognize any of the names and I usually consider myself pretty well versed in Michigan football history...

EDIT: Tony Hunt from PSU?

this is not being

All in for Michigan...

come on man.

Thanks for the great post.

I'll take Michigan to cover in the Wisconsin game. I think we will beat them, despite the game being in Camp Randall.

scale

They are measured on a scale of 1 to Terrelle Pryor.

The reason it is important.

I do not disagree with the sentiment that we should recruit the best players regardless of what state or area of the United States they are from. However, recruiting is a tricky science in that you are required not only to get the best players, but also get ENOUGH players. It is all about probability. If you expend all of your resources recruiting kids from all corners of the country because they are the most highly rated prospects, you could lose of them because the probability of signing out of state blue-chip prospects is significantly lower than signing in-state talent. As they say: If you chase two rabbits, you will lose them both.

Kids from a certain geographic location will be naturally inclined to go to school around there (having grown up there, having friends there, family there, etc.). So if you spend all your resources trying to pull in those low-probability recruits, you are neglecting the need to field a competent and deep football team. Good prospects from Michigan will be pre-disposed to liking in-state schools, like Michigan. They therefore have a higher probability of going there, thus the importance of paying attention to in-state prospects.

Also, I believe there is a morale factor involved. People that go to Michigan are often from Michigan, and thus there is a desire from boosters and fans alike to see one of their own suit up for Michigan rather than some kid from Oklahoma or something.

Awesome!!!

What's his 40 time? haha

I remember being a young guy like that and always jawing back and forth with my teammates about how Michigan was better than their favorite team (usually Illinois or Northwestern). They were great times.

All the best to your son...make sure he gets his reps at slot receiver.
