Everything is for a reason. Everything is for a reason. It could be that he was concerned about his student/career? Maybe he didn't like where the coaching staff was going.....I doubt that though. His personal reasons last year was enough to put football second on his priority list so I'm thinking that's got a lot to do with it. It only opens up the chance for H4 to land a great recruit for the future. It's a blow to the team and fans to a certain degree but, it is what it is and there's still plenty of excitement to enjoy!
I have read a lot of comments I have read a lot of comments and heard so many expressed feelings on the JH hire. In conclusion of this is the fact that yes, he is a great coach for Michigan. Yes, he knows exactly what it's gonna take for them to be the successful Michigan of old being that he played for them under Bo. Being a Michigan man helps too. Finally the discipline will be back in the locker room along with the intensity for winning. The one thing that I don't see anyone talking about is the fact that the team itself is gonna have to by in to his scheme. If they don't produce what he wants then we will be right back where we started. It's not like he himself can go out there and be the QB and pull us out of the rut himself. So if the team doesn't play for him or catch on or have that fire it's not gonna be any better. We can't have ANY more seasons or game for that matter like we have been having. People are gonna want wins immediately and I am not sure if that's gonna happen. Can he save Michigan? Not with guys that don't give 110 percent every snap of the ball. And we had people like that last year. And they are coming back this year! I hope and pray that he can get them in position to win or all this hype will be for nothing.
Surely you are not implying Surely you are not implying that Jack asked NS to talk to the Harbaugh family as to talk JH into coming to UM. Knowing the family is one thing but as to ask someone to do something like that could come back and bite him in the butt. Don't see that kind of influence anyway.
The only reason he bungled The only reason he bungled over the last month is b/c he knew he was leaving. Even if no one wants to believe it or not the making of a deal has been in motion for a little while. No one just ups and goes from San Fran to Michigan in one night and signs the next day without a little background previously put in motion! He does have a lot of NFL ways about him but b/c he was a student and played for UM he knows what they'd expect and what will work and what will not. He knows the kind of guys to bring in for Michigan to be successful again.
Oh it's done alright or he Oh it's done alright or he wouldn't be in Ann Arbor or there wouldn't be soooo much hype right now. So it's done in the faithful eyes of Wolverine Nation!!!!!
I'm just saying that until I'm just saying that until you get knocked off and you are defending NC's, that still haven't lost from last yr even w/o the same crew, your still No.1. How can that be wrong!? Defending until a new one is crowned your still No.1 if no one has beaten you.
This would only be the time This would only be the time to be upset if this was the Tourney in March......good thing it wasn't though!!!
I think that everyone has I think that everyone has forgotten that until you have lost, your still No.1.....FSU has not lost and they are the retaining NC's. Bama has one loss and b/c they beat an up and down Auburn team they leap into number one before they even play for the SEC championship game!? OSU will only get in if any of the teams ahead of them lose. If they let OSU in if FSU has a sloppy game but still wins and is still undefeated then the playoff system will already be a flop and useless. NO team in the top 4 or 5 has a very hard strength of schedule this yr, so if your team is the NC's from last yr and still hasn't lost a game in 2 yrs how on earth can they not be the No.1 team comparing the other top five teams strength of schedule, wins and losses, top wins, and bad losses. Seems to me the playoffs are already headed in the wrong direction
I'm with you and the rest of I'm with you and the rest of Michigan nation that we land Harbaugh. All the others are just being mentioned for conversation.
