I like Tru, O'maury and his 11 yard avg. as well. Higdon sat this week in preparation for a heavy big ten schedule. Karan's tough running style is my cup of tea over Evans east west indecisiveness. In my opinion Let it be a committee thing this year until Charbonet shows up.
Yeah let's not laugh at other programs. We've been there before ourselves and its a painful time. I mean, lets just support our guys and focus on our season..btw, may seem counterintuitive but having Nebraska be good again is good for everybody in the long run. Go Blue!
This team still has a lot to look ahead to and a lot to improve upon. I just think that they had to have this piece of humble pie and I think it will be good for them instead of bad in the long run. Each guy on the O line needs to do some serious soul searchin and find that desire to rise to this challenge and by sheer willpower, push themselves to perform better. This team writes its own damn story. It hasn't been written for them. That first game is exactly the type of bad game you want to get out of the way early.
Was reading a couple quotes this morning from an ND defensive lineman. He flat out said that they picked up on our snap cadence so the entire night they were jumping the snap. I think it was probably Patterson clapping twice, dropping his hand down then Ruiz snapping it.
If npf goes to osu, he better get used to getting his ass handed to him for the next couple years. Hutchinson and the rest of our defensive ends are going to be Beasts.
At some point it's on the players. Is getting a scholarship and just suiting up for UM good enough? Where's the pride and passion? I want guys who are relentless at wanting to be the very best. I watched that Miami U documentary a few years back and I'll never forget Ed Reeds speech at halftime to his teammates. Basically they were winning and he was pissed they weren't kicking more ass. We need an Ed Reed. Those Miami teams were dominant because of athleticism, but mainly attitude.
