SOL "Same old Lions"
There is a Facebook group

There is a Facebook group called  "University of Michigan Dallas Club " that you can join. They meet at a place called "Fox and Hound" to watch games, according the group. I'll be in Dallas and will probably join them.

I really don't think I need I really don't think I need to repeat. It's fine not to believe me, but why would I lie about it? I went with Nebraska fans from AA and met a ton of nice people there who were very generous, and it's a couple out of 85K that said some bad things; a few bad ones could be found almost anywhere, as has been said. I'll chalk it up to "oh well" and forget it. I didn't mean to cause commotion...
On a happier note, I thought On a happier note, I thought their fans were quite loud and really well coordinated with the chants and whatnot. Impressive in my opinion.
It's true man. As you said, It's true man. As you said, at one pointed I was yelling out "who do you think is on YOUR team?" Several of the UM fans I was with were giving pushback, which was nice. Disappointed the other N fans didn't provide negative feedback.
Other bad thing Unfortunately, there were at least 5 people within earshot that yelled "Hurt him! Hurt him!" every time Denard had the ball. When he got hurt, that's actually when they broke out a lot of the racist comments. It was ugly, and I was genuinely disappointed. It kind of ruined the whole experience for me.

It's possible that I was in the only section of awful people in the whole place though I guess...
Racism I heard many racist comments in the crowd directed toward UM players. Granted, it was mostly from about 2 really vocal people, but no one said anything. It was pretty stunning. Really a shame since in general the fan base of Nebraska seemed very welcoming.
See you there

I'm in a group going...hopefully we'll see everyone at the alumni event beforehand. It would be great to have a big UM presence there!

BTB

BTB changed their pico about 2 years ago (thicker cut tomatoes and onions) which I did not really like and made the burritos noticeably different. I still think they are #1 though.

The 24 hour mexican food places out west (Romiro's, Filiberto's, Rolberto's, Los Betos, etc.  ... all with the same menu) are sorely missed in the midwest.  It's not that they are high quality, just significantly different from all the above mentioned places in AA. Those places are legit, esp. the ones in Arizona.

Radio

WJBO is my new favorite station...they are getting blown up with Michigan calls. "Everyone would love" if LM come to UM, acccording to the last caller (from Flint).

Nature of his injury...

Based on Freep report... “It was dislocated and when they put it back in the socket, they did an X-ray and found out about the ligament (damage) and the bone broke.”

This is different from a 'high ankle sprain.' It's an ankle fracture and dislocation. Season-ending, probably career ending/limiting

Shame.
