Jabrill was a critical piece of an elite defense. Very disruptive, fast, lots of TFL's, and a great hitter.

...but you would certainly not cover your eyes
|1 week 2 days ago||What a memory||
|1 week 4 days ago||Definitely||
The way that Beilein and his staff turned this team around, how these kids have grown up before our eyes, the adversity they overcame to dominate that tournament, yes this season is a success and one to remember no matter what happens this weekend.
Of course we'd all rather see our team play great the entire season and get a high NCAA seed, but there will always be something special about this group of players figuring things out, not quitting, and catching fire at just the right time.
God bless every one of them

He was open in the corner when Webber called that time out

Plus the possibility of becoming a major news story and attracting the kind of attention that nobody enjoys.
Even a high integrity kid who passes up the money earns him nothing but problems if he blows the whistle on others
|10 weeks 3 days ago||If the Lions drafter him||
I wouldn't mind seeing him as a full time RB. Then maybe they would be able to run the ball
|10 weeks 3 days ago||I think that's just the risk you take||
when you commit to a school like Bama (and hopefully UM now that JH is at the helm).
Every 5 star knows - KNOWS - that they will beat whatever competition they have to face and rise up the depth chart...then you get there and realize that there are 5 stars who arrived before you and 5 stars who will arrive after you.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||I think what I loved most was his special teams work||
Just 100% certified pure awesome. What a luxury to have a guy like that returning punts. We had such a field position advantage with him back there, knowing he would either break a great return or see the other team kick short or out of bounds to prevent it.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Saw this article the other day r.e. Hand waiting his turn||
The writer definitely does not see him as a bust, says he is in great shape and looking to step into a starting role next season.
I guess that's just the reality of choosing Bama, you could be a beast and still not play that much. Hopefully that will be our reality in another year or two...
[EDIT - I see the link doesn't go to the article but rather to Bleacher Report main site. You can copy and paste the link abover into your browser and that should work]

|11 weeks 1 day ago||They also got killed by those same Cowboys||
the following season, 37-3
|11 weeks 1 day ago||1995 especially||
Lions offense was #1 in total yds, passing yds, pts, passing TD's
They had a 1,500 yd rusher (Barry) and two 1,000 yd WR's (Moore, 1,686 and Perriman, 1,488)
Sadly their defense was not on the same level and they were annihilated in shocking fashion by the Eagles in the playoffs
|11 weeks 1 day ago||Do other teams do this?||
Maybe this is par for the course??
|11 weeks 1 day ago||It was the '91 season||
but the game was played on January 5, 1992
|11 weeks 1 day ago||They really hang banners celebrating playoff appearances?!||
Wow. Then they've hung 7 of them since their last playoff W.
Why would they do that? Seems like they are reminding their fan base that they are 0-7 in the playoffs since '92
|11 weeks 1 day ago||You might think so if you are young||
By "young" I mean under 60 years old.
Lions are 7-11 all-time in the playoffs, with 4 league titles ('35, '52, '53, '57)
You could say that the '92 game is their only playoff W in the Super Bowl era.
|11 weeks 6 days ago||I am very happy they were||
I am very happy they were destroyed. It doesn't happen very often, Urban getting shut out had never happened, and I know I absolutely did not want them to win or come close to winning the nat'l title. All of this is perfectly rational, because I hate them.

|16 weeks 4 days ago||No problem, as long as you are not reffing the game||
"People who are fans, or might be fans, or ever have been fans of one of the teams in a rivalry game should not be allowed to ref in said rivalry game." Seems like common sense.
So how does this guy end up on the field for the marquee game of the CFB season?
|16 weeks 4 days ago||what should we call it?||
The Spot Atrocity? Or...the Spotatrocity?
Just trying to think of an alternative to sticking "gate" on the end of it...
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Thank you for posting this||
I find this to be very encouraging.
It reminds me of how I felt after last year's punt muff vs MSU. Devastated...but also feeling that the rivalry had changed and confident that we would absolutely beat them the following year in EL.
That's how I feel now. Still devastated...but also very confident going forward. The days of going into that game feeling like we have no chance are decidedly over.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Not ignoring it||
but the homer calls were determinative b/c they happened multiple times at critical moments.
|16 weeks 6 days ago||Exactly right||
They knew there was only one way they were getting out of that stadium alive and acted accordingly.

getting into heated arguments with Bulls fans and Lakers fans in the late 80's early 90's. Now I look back and feel stupid for having cared that much about it
