|1 week 18 hours ago||Thread is dumb.||
This is not a video game. These are real life people that have to execute.
|1 week 2 days ago||Best one||
Best one in a looooong time.
|1 week 5 days ago||Nice||
Nice. I haven't seen this one in a long time. Brian's essay writing has definitely improved - his more recent essays have much better flow to them. In this piece, there's almost too much effort involved in some of the descriptions and humor. I enjoyed reading it, but 2016 Brian has definitely evolved from 2005 Brian.
After OSU game, I think I want to see a Brian's Greatest Hits thread. I have a few in mind but I'm sure there are just as many that I've forgotten.

Soeight deserves a star. I think Kalis is improved, but move his to Speight if you're opposed to adding to the total star count.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||I don't get the complaints||
I don't get the complaints. More exposure for smaller programs. More money for the conference.
Michigan doesn't have to play on Fridays and I'd rather watch Northwestern-MSU live on a Friday night instead of watching 10 minutes from between commercials during the Michigan game.
A lot of you are just complaining because you like complaining.

|4 weeks 4 days ago||Cool||
Cool cool cool, cool tool
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Disagree with this sentiment||
OSU was one of the two most talented teams last year. We were missing our top two nose tackles. Indiana and OSU both ran it down our throats.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||It was||
It was in yesterday's paper for me. Maybe that's why you had trouble finding it today?
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Also Braden||
I've been really high on him since he came in as a tackle. I understand he's probably better than each year before him but I always thought he was a tackle.
He leaned as a guard because his assets are length and athleticism. That's tackle, not guard.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||LOL^infinity||
"*[He quit after the Wisconsin game and also never existed in the first place because the MSU fanbase can't support a high quality independent team blog.]"

10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife?
|4 weeks 6 days ago||CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN||
Can someone explain the first few comments about Brain? I didn't understand the jokes, now I feel shame.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Thumbs up||
Really enjoyed this. Nice work. Definitely would like to see more of these longforms in the spring and summer when it's slow.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Bow tie||
Haha your dog's face and bow tie are cracking me up.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Great write-up||
Great write-up, as usual.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||Love these posts!||
|6 weeks 5 days ago||I say screw it||
I say screw it, do a column called "Re-Draftageddon 2016" where everyone picks new teams and then post the Slack thread here.
Just for the comments. The glorious comments.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Colorado||
Not super realistic but I would absolutely love traveling to Boulder every few years for a road game.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Agree||
Agree. My recollection is that the new contract was put together hastily to keep the Big 12 intact when a group of them were planning to head to the PAC-10.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Not really that simple||
It's a little more complicated than that. OU and Texas were the ones leading the expansion until recently reversing course.
Texas was in support of Houston because they were going to get a very valuable piece land in the city of Houston for building a medical center. Most of the schools against Houston are the smaller schools, read: the non-powerhouse schools that don't want Houston taking recruits from them. On top of that, the TV networks were pretty pissed the Big Twelve would stick it to them by adding teams that aren't worth it just to trigger a contract clause. Sounds like the TV networks decided they're willing to pay them more to stay at 10 as it's cheaper than paying them more with 12 or 14.
Additionally, it sounds like Texas and OU have come around to the fact that the only thing that matters long-term for them is 2024, when their grant of rights agreement ends. At that point, they're going to figure out if they want to be in the Pac-16, SEC, or Big Ten.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Central Florida||
Central Florida won the Fiesta Bowl at the conclusion of the 2013 season(with George O'Leary as coach!).
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Logged in||
Logged in to add James Hetfield. I'm not sure he's top 5 in a Rolling Stone list but he's one of my top 5.
Also like Robert Plant, Brian Johnson, David Lee Roth, among others that have already been named.
I also like Chris Cornell from Soundgarden/Audioslave. Probably not top 5 but I think he's solid. Also a little embarrassed to admit I also enjoyed Layne Staley a lot as a teenager.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Glasgow vs. Godin||
Godin wears a much bigger neckroll. That's been my visual clue to determining who is who out of him and Glasgow.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Meh||
|9 weeks 1 hour ago||Ausmus||
Ausmus should've been canned 2 years ago. I haven't been able to watch them since we blew the game after he pulled [I don't remember which starter is was because it's happened too many times but I'm fairly certain it was a playoff game] even though the pitch count wasn't that high and then whaddayaknow, BP blew the game.
Haven't watched the Tigers since that game and won't watch again until Ausmus is gone.
|9 weeks 4 days ago||Ha!||
|9 weeks 5 days ago||My biggest hope||
My biggest hope for Alabama to lose is just laying an egg in the SEC title game against what will probably be a Tennessee team that will have (likely) already have been throttled my Alabama in the regular season.
There will be a lot of pissed off people in the conference that gets left out if they're left out while a non-conference champion gets in the playoffs.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||247 Analysts||
247 analysts are putting in crystal balls for Shannon Reid to the good guys.
247 is higher than other services on Reid. Will probably make the recruiting roundup but thought it was interesting.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Not one of my favs||
Not one of my favorites to see, either.
It was a monster hit, but I still recognized as a kid that something wasn't right as soon as it happened.
