They are getting an education and scholarships worth upwards of $50K a year plus every other imaginable benefit. This team needs to grow up quick. If they don't expect to be booed for that lousy season, when do they expect it? Do they expect to walk through life on rainbows with fans lauding their every move? It's not high school ball anymore. This matters. The goddamn highlight of the season was beating an unranked, terrible Penn State team at home... barely. Wins vs. Appalachian State, Miami of Ohio, Indiana and that piss-poor performance at NW? And they don't expect fans to be upset? That team wouldn't have even been good in the MAC! And coaching isn't EVERYTHING. The team just couldn't goddamn PLAY GOOD FOOTBALL.
This generation is the "LOOK AT ME" generation of self-centered narcists. I miss the days when the guys on the team just quietly went about their business AND WON. Nowadays, if they can't put it on Twitter or Intstantgram, it's not even worth doing or saying. Have you seen what some of these guys are saying IN PUBLIC on Twitter while representing the University? Coach Harbaugh should consider banning that damn thing. Tell them to get their eyes off their phones and onto the field.
